I'm usually pretty chill with keeping shipping separate from canon AND I'm usually more pissed off then not with the vague deniable gay romances in visual media but it's so bewildering to me that anyone would deny Victor and Jayce Arcane being portrayed as romantic.

Like, in their final scene Jayce literally states his commitment to Victor and hands the rune - an unambiguous symbol of victors exclusive affection for him, that victor handed over 3 times before - back to Victor. And that provokes a reaction so intense that they have to physically fight to contain it. And we see their glowing naked bodies thrashing around as they struggle to stay together. And as they finally reconnect they share a look full of vulnerability and almost fear of what's to come, but choose to embrace anyways. And they comfort and hold each other tenderly through the culmination, the final act of total merging and mutual destruction. What brotherhood are we fucking talking about. this is like, the mythical endpoint of all eroticism???

actually i don't think characters should ever evolve and should remain unchanging. what they did in the past should always define their present and in fact should not only influence it but remain the one constant core of their characterization. a character should be defined by two, at most three, main words that sums them up perfectly. a future where they are different than they were in the past is one that is not only wrong but also harmful to every single bad decision they ever made before. growth should only be reserved for plants and nothing else

watched the next arcane episodes the thing is i do like caitvi when they aren't being enforcers together like i was more excited when they argued in ep3 then when they kissed. anyway cait seeing vi again and immediately betraying the cop brigade to re-ally with her was kinda real regular lesbian situationship behaviour and also vi looked really good

Finishing up Sunrise on the Reaping

Mixed thoughts: I liked it overall, lots of genuinely good idea in it, i'd even go so far as most ideas in it are good. But some things I liked less, such as I guess the exact way Leonore Dove died, that felt a bit contrived, and Beete's intervention.

I loved Wyatt, Maysilee, Effie, Louella, Lou-Lou and watching how propaganda wrapped and destroyed Haymitch. I don't mind a character becoming significantly different as he grow up due to a loss. I like a bit less how his mother and brother were brushed over but I think it humanises Haymitch a bit, he's a teen boy in love of course he yaps about his girlfriend. It was a bit annoying at times but it was like fine. I think I liked less her being interpretable as the sole reason he rebelled? But I don't really see it like that at all myself, he's traumatised by that precise moment and sure he's young snd impressionable at the start so he is swayed by people around him. BUT! By the end he's suffered so much loss and seen so more crap, which we know there's more where that came from, that I think he couldn't have not rebelled, he very much forms his own thoughts on itfueled by the love for his companions. The promise and whole circumstances just add this guilt burden to it

It's q good stand alone, a bit more debatable as a prequel but I enjoyed the ride, I'll wait some more after redoing the whole franchise before giving my final opinion.

I started watching a playthrough of Great God Grove and Help I have so many squishes KLFSANSFLK Inspekta is SO silly billy and I'm not even close but I'm so enamored by Huzzle Mug and Thespius Green I fear I may come out of this game with THREE Qpps help
