trailer aside, just the fact that there's no official release date yet is killing me bc i would really love doing some sort of countdown event for jwct but this is keeping me from planning anything

But anyway, favorite character...my baby, Yaz.

She's so interesting! First off, look how shy she is back in S1. She's a loner, but y'know what? She chose track and art. Both subjects, while technically done alone, artists and runners crave validation. So while she acts like a loner, she's actually lonely and wants to connect, but can't figure out how.

Also, Yaz makes decisions and is never prepared for the consequences. Saves the campers by distracting the mosasaur and is surprised when it heads for her?

And I really, really connected with Yaz during the Art of Chill. Everyone always depending on her, unable to take a break? And pushing herself past the breaking point.. Yaz stole my heart.

And once you're in Yaz's friendship circle? She's ride or die for you, beyond loyal. Hates being betrayed.

I stand by my thought that cheerleader Yaz in S3 was scary...scarier than any dinosaur and I know the other campers agree with me.

Yaz breaking down when the plane left? Stats, imagine you're almost home, you're almost safe, and you can see the safety disappear in front of you. And suddenly the trauma of everything hits you, all at once, and your fight or flight instincts get flipped.

Making it home and she's safe, and, and she has no problem coming out to her mom and introducing Sammy.

Just...thus was entirely a chance for me to ramble about Yaz, thank you for coming to the Yaztalk.
