i was literally in the middle of making this post and it's already out of date 😭😭😭

this is what i was writing when kh4 news dropped for the first time in 3 fucking years:

i'm compiling this post on the evening of May 14, 2025 to document the heartbreak and the insanity that has visited upon us today following the abrupt cancellation of KHML. we loved, we lost...and we got a lot of memes about balconies.

i'm scheduling this to post on May 14, 2026, and i'm really hoping that by then, circumstances will be better and we'll have something happy to look forward to as a fandom. in the meantime, the kind words and the wonderful art you all share will get us through it.

no matter what happens, never forget that there's always a light in the darkness ✨

i'm going to queue an anniversary post for this time next year so we can all look back on today and remember it fondly
