"What makes y'think they're fake?" Jonathan quizzically asks Aaron. Of course, Jonathan already KNEW the answer to that considering that he has to LIVE with the appendages that weren't like normal humans. The only thing that looked human was Jonathan's face, body and other limbs. Aside from that, Jonathan's skull protruded the ACTUAL antlers coming out of their head. Ears flicker to the slightest breeze on command. If this was VFX, then Jonathan was QUITE the pro at making them seem so utterly real.

"If you think they're not real, then give it a feel. You ever pet a deer before?" Jonathan hasn't. But he's going to assume that Aaron hasn't either. Jonathan stood still, almost angling their body forward to tempt Aaron to come closer to graze the fluffy and tempting ears like a real animal would as if begging for attention. "Je ne vais pas mordre. Seriously." As if Aaron could understand what Jonathan said at all.
