My husband Mohanad and I both worked as administrators at the Palace of Justice in Gaza.

We got engaged just two months before the war,

bought an apartment, and began dreaming of a new life together. But the war changed everything. Our workplace and apartment were destroyed, and we lost our jobs. Despite it all, we chose to move forward and got married in the middle of the war, with no wedding ceremony—just a simple union that symbolized resilience amid the devastation.

We’ve been displaced multiple times, each time facing a new eviction order and starting over again. We were forced to leave everything behind and flee with only a few belongings. The displacement was devastating, as we had to leave behind the life we built and the dreams we held for our future.

Today, we live in a small home in Al-Nuseirat, struggling to cover basic needs like food, water, and alternative electricity, facing monthly expenses we can hardly bear. Recently, a new eviction notice was issued for our area, and we don’t know what lies ahead. We’re searching for online work and have skills we can utilize, but finding opportunities has been very challenging under these conditions.

After renting the apartment in Nuseirat, we thought we had found a safe haven from the horrors of war. But on the night of 3-11-2024, explosions erupted nearby, and we never imagined one would hit our apartment. Suddenly, a missile struck; walls shook, parts collapsed, and windows shattered, leaving the room we had just been in destroyed.

We miraculously survived, but the place that once felt like a refuge had become a scene of chaos and destruction. With heavy hearts, we gathered what little remained and moved on once again, hoping to find shelter far from this endless devastation.

I will rewrite my story again. I hope you read it carefully and help if you can.

I am Abdullah Musa, I am 20 years old. I am still a young man. I do not have any job and I cannot get money. It is unfortunate to ask for money in this way, but that is life.

The campaign started after hesitation and deep thinking, but I saw myself forced to do this campaign for several reasons. The first and most important reason is to evacuate from war, fear, and the terrifying sounds of bombs and planes, to escape from living in a tent, to escape from fear. I want a life in which there are only the basics (water, food, electricity, internet, and safety).

The second goal, which is very important to me, is to study medicine and complete my dream that I had since childhood. I had started my first year of university and I was planning my future and dreams, but everything went away when the war came and destroyed my university. Yesterday, I started studying in Egypt and my friend sent me a picture from the beginning of the school year. It was a sad feeling.

Hello everyone! My name is Raghad and I am from Gaza. I am currently in my third year of university at the Faculty of Dentistry in Egypt. Before the genocide, I relied on paying my tuition fee ($3000) from my father. Now, our home in the Gaza Strip in the Khan Younis area has been destroyed. Throughout the genocide, my dear father lost his job, which was our source of livelihood, and all of our financial resources became inaccessible.

Currently, my mother’s family (my mother’s brothers and sisters and their children) and my father’s family (my father’s brothers and sisters and their children) are all in the Gaza Strip in an area called Al-Mawasi. All of them live in tents and are struggling everyday to survive.

Living in Egypt has increasingly been difficult for me and my family. 5 months ago, my family (my mother, father, three sisters and one brother) evacuated from Gaza and are struggling to pay our rent and daily expenses. My brother,@mahmoud-sd who is still studying high school online, needs $100 per month for his tuition. My three sisters, who are also in school, each require $100 per month for their tuition.

Due to the harsh living conditions and the extremely high cost of living in Egypt, we must pay $150 per month for rent. Additionally, we face great difficulty in meeting our obligations, as my family’s monthly expenses are approximately $600, covering high prices for food, water, electricity, gas bills, and medical expenses for my grandmother.

In conclusion, I need about $20,000 in total to cover me and my family’s Here are the details:

Father Moatasem bears the burden of war every day alongside his son Youssef, while Nada and Nouran suffer from severe food shortages and contaminated water, which has led to many health problems due to environmental pollution. 🌍💔Mother Iman, who is in Egypt, devotes her effort to caring for her daughter, Nour, who was seriously injured as a result of the bombing that destroyed their house. 🏥🚨 Unfortunately, we have no other way to get help except through a GoFundMe donation campaign. I am Suheila Alwan, a mother of four daughters and one son. I am 34 years old, but the weight of life and suffering has made me feel much older. We once lived with dignity in a modest home, and my husband’s boat provided for all our needs. But the war has left us with nothing. Our house has been reduced to rubble, and my husband’s boat, our sole source of income, was completely destroyed.

Today, my family and I live in a tent that barely shields us from the cold and rain. My youngest child asks me every day, "Where is our home? When will we go back?" And I find myself standing helpless, unable to answer. My little girls sleep on the hard ground without enough blankets to keep them warm, and my eldest son tries to be strong for his siblings, but he’s just a child—he needs safety and care, things I can no longer provide😭😭😭😭😭

We have no electricity, no clean water, and no consistent access to food. Every day is a struggle to secure even the basics that once felt so ordinary😭😭😭😭😭

I am not asking for much—only for the sake of my children. I wish I could protect them from the biting cold and the hunger that weakens their small bodies. I dream of seeing them smile again, to hear their laughter free from fear and sorrow😭😭😭

I know there are many others suffering like us, but as a mother, I cannot give up on my family. I appeal to you with all the love and desperation in my heart: help us rebuild our lives.
