I've finally made Ghoul OCs! These are Dahab (دهب) and Kētos (ⲕⲏⲧⲟⲥ).

Dahab is a Fire ghoul and Kētos is a dual Water Quintessence ghoul. I, of course, attended my wife @bonesy-doodles's school of design and layout so these ghouls are set in and abide by the worldbuilding/guidelines that Bones had sorta set up.

Please ask me about them! I love them a lot already, and I want to talk about them!!

this question makes me cry cuz i wanna say the chimera but like.... Im more of a fan of the modern version with wings 😭

i made a post about a theory I had where on coins that get worn out with age the goats head eventually ends up looking like wings, and I thought that maybe that's where the chimera got wings. of course in other mythologies chimeras DO actually have wings so its kinda up in the air. for example Hittite chimera I will just pretend that the greek version has wings so I may maintain my sanity.

Chimeras are the best, probably where the idea of dragons spouting fire came from.

Also, it looks really cool. I think it's funny that it's the goat that breathes fire sometimes.

If the chimera doesn't count because I'm more of a fan of the non-Greek/ modern versions, then I will say Cetus (almost Geryon tho)

He kinda likes the first dragon.

Also, I have a bit of a hyperfixation on perseus.

another thing that bothers me is just the concept of "overeating" like obviously there is an amount of stuff that you can put in your body that will make you sick but on top of that being WAY less harmful than STARVING YOURSELF TO DEATH and it being someone's right as a person to engage in something that might harm them, none of yall know what overeating actually looks like. mainstream society is so skinny focused and calorie counting that not a damn person knows how much food you should actually be eating.

"but it's 2000 calories a day" not only are calories complete unscientific bunk but that specific number was estimated for like... children.., and it STILL starved them. the multi thousands of calories a day diets you get so scared of are more often than not THE AMOUNT OF FOOD YOU SHOULD BE EATING especially if you frequently exercise or do body/mind straining labor. skinny hegemony reinforces itself in a lot of ways but a HUGE way is by literally teaching us to eat with guilt in our hearts and an eye on some made up score with backwards ass golf rules. the food you think is evil are staple foods of countries you can't point to on a map because you simply do not respect one of the most basic of human cultural practices: FOOD.

So it was very surprising to his step-mother, Y/N Y/L/N-Wayne, when he stormed into her room seemingly mid-tantrum. "It's stupid. Absurd. Maddening, even," grumbled the young heir, flopping onto Y/N's four-poster bed, "It's unthinkable, making me do something I do not wish to do."

Y/N spun around in her desk chair, smiling slightly while also concerned. "Those are some pretty big words," she observed light-heartedly, "What's so 'unthinkable', Damian? Who's making you do something you don't want to?"

Damian practically leapt into her arms when she sat down beside him, still grumbling that "it wasn't ethical". But Y/N had no idea what 'it' was, and only a minute later she was following him out into the corridor with an extremely confused expression glued to her face.

She found Tim leant against the wall next to her bedroom door, arms crossed and wearing a somewhat bemused grimace. "What's he crying over?" she asked, "Something absurd, I gathered, but he didn't say what."

"Uhh, Thalia wants to have him for a week, but the lil sh-t doesn't wanna go," Tim explained, a tinge of mischief in his voice.

"I thought he adored Thalia!" Y/N exclaimed in pure disbelief, "Heck, even I adore her! And I'm just a superfan!"

Tim chuckled lightly, still grinning. At the exact same time, Duke appeared from the opposite direction Damian had gone. He too leaned against the wall and grimaced. "He interrupted my daily Animal Crossing Island Tour just to fret about leaving you for a week," Duke sighed, slipping his hands into his pockets.
