I’m sorry there aren’t more options, I only had 10 spaces or I would’ve included more. I tried to go with the most common and obviously with groups!

What counts for singing is up to you. I think most people sing some amount, but you can decide if yours counts or not. The reason for this is because you can teach yourself an instrument, so not requiring lessons or anything for either instruments or singing.

If you want to learn an instrument, especially if you don’t currently play any, I would love to know if you shared!

Guys do you think the Once-ler can play other instruments besides the guitar?

Bc it seems for me that he tried a lot of different instruments but he could afford only guitar plus it's not that difficult to learn and I believe he truly loves its sound.

But I want to think that he plays something like a melodica too?? Because it's harmonica with keyboard, what can be better? It sounds suitable for him, just look at this.

He could play some folk songs with it or his own silly melodies, just like with guitar. But he also could play it when he feels like express his feelings through this. I can imagine how he just sits on his bed or chair to look in the window, thinking about everything and nothing at the same time, randomly pressing accords or playing arpeggio in some minor key. He makes the melodica sound heavy and a little wistful, playing some simple slow motif.

I know it's all VERY contrived but I guess it's just an interesting topic to think and come up with headcanons.

Jimmy has stolen Oli immediately. Oli is playing the keyboard at home and Jim has a toy guitar. Jimmy isn't singing or doing anything at all, just having Oli do it.

False tried to get Skizz, Kirsty, and Impulse but they all said no. She is the only one with no partner. She is using a variety of paddles and an aluminum food tin, and asking chat for rap lyrics because she can't sing. She has decided to pull up a beat on her phone and rap to it.

Martyn has a bunch of weapons as instruments that he is having Skizz use for drumming and is using chat for lyrics. He is also rapping. I liked his the best.

Pearl is singing to herself and is using Karn to sing and write lyrics. They are just singing, no instruments. They did a very Aussie song.

Ren is using paddles and a stool as drums and has commandeered a Gamer's Outreach employee named Stage (?) to play harmonica. He's doing some kind of chant? His was my least favorite.

Cub has the cat key board with Impulse playing and is using chat for lyrics. Cub is also rapping to Impulse banging on the keyboard. Short and sweet.

Joe has a phone keyboard and Badger. He has done a song to tune of Old McDonald.

Jimmy failed a bunch of times to try and kick an orange in a cone and ran out of time. "Chat, your streamer, useless" said Gem to Jimmy's stream.

They are making their handshake even after time is up. Ren is trying to tell her time is up and she is telling him it doesn't matter and to just listen to her.

The Evo Crew is setting off firework rockets and jumping from a high place with totems. Pearl is stealing from Cub and planning on paying him back later. They have the energy of a group of children trying to make a play to get to sleepover.

Cub and Joe are having two armor stands shake hands. They are the only ones doing anything efficiently.

I was reading some of your answered asks and I was wondering what music instruments could be found for each background? How would each RO react once they realised their SO knows how to play an instrument?

Hey Anon, I'm not sure if I fully understand your ask but I will answer it as best I can! If I misunderstood please send another with how I can answer better and it will be done.

Wastelander: Technology is much harder to come by in the wastelands so a lot of the more electronic instruments are not present in the communes. There are also no large instruments because space is a huge issue as communes are constantly moving around so more compact instruments would be favoured.

Instruments would be: violas, guitars, tambourines, djembe (goblet-shaped drums) and harmonicas.

Orphan: The orphanages encourage children to explore multiple fields outside of their training. They believe that learning an instrument can teach them discipline. There is a small number of instruments that they can learn from though; they aren't willing to spend too many resources on teachers and instruments.

Instruments available were: Keyboard, guitar, flute, saxophone and electronic drums.

Military: A lot of military families encourage their children to learn an instrument to improve their hand-eye coordination, teach them discipline, improve their focus and give them something to add onto their applications. Children are forced into pursuing more classical instruments as it is seen as classy.

Instruments: Piano, violin, cello, clarinet, trumpet, harp and bassoon.

However, most instruments are available regardless of background. These are just the most likely.

Immediately draws MC into a jam session: Nico and Spencer. He would be very happy. He loves music and it is something that he would pursue if he could. To be able to share his passion with MC? It would be like a dream come true.

Spencer, before everything, loved learning the drums. They had a lot of energy and anger growing up so releasing it through music helped a lot. Spencer would enjoy playing music with MC. It is a way to connect.

Would listen to MC happily and sing along: Ara and Theo. Ara has a lovely singing voice and Theo can play the djembe but it is not something they really think much of. However, they would love to listen to MC and share in the joy of music.

No strong feelings: Will and Astrid. They like to listen to music but its not something they are particularly interested in. They would still support MC and encourage them to talk about it.

Tone deaf: Mina. She loves to sing, even if she is horribly off-key, and loves musicals. She is the type of person to sing in the shower and listen to music while doing tasks. She would constantly ask MC to play songs for her. She thinks them playing an instrument is very attractive.
