Elvis' Sword Cane ⚔️
Elvis On Tour (1972)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Watching the doc for the millionth time and I've only noticed this now. I wondered if EP's cane was actually a weapon... and it looks like I was right. Apparently, all of Elvis' canes were also swords... and he was making it clear onscreen. LOL.
Subtle message: "Don't f*** with me".

Remembering Elvis Presley, who died on August 16, 1977. The King, one of the greatest artists who ever lived. Not just a singer, not just an entertainer. Elvis was an Artist. He created a style that changed the course of world music. Jerry and his beautiful testimony about Elvis
'Yes, I knew Elvis Presley when we were both making movies at Paramount'. 'He made his presence quite well known at the studio'. 'Elvis was a really nice kid, one of the nicest people I have met in show business. When we were both at Paramount we had our own projects to work on, of course, so we didn't see each other a lot, but when we did it was always good. Elvis seemed very humble, and he had great respect for other actors'. Jerry Lewis to James L. Neibaur.

Link Wray - Link Wray

Wukong: "HOW CAN I BE SO STUPID!? IT WAS OBVIOUS!? OR NOT!? I'M THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT HE WAS A GIRL?? But that look… AHHHHHHH!"
Some might call it gay panic; we call it being rock-brained or, again, drama queen—both apply.
A little side note: Wukong knows he can be attracted to any gender, but he doesn’t really feel attracted just like that. What he feels for Macaque at this point is more of an admiration, thinking, "That's a very good-looking person/monkey."
He has and will spend more time with that monkey before he gets the butterflies, but that would be a spoiler, so let's just wait and see
