A lot of landscapers nowadays don't understand the proper etiquette surrounding gas-powered leafblowers. If you are operating a leafblower, and someone is walking up the sidewalk towards where you are blowing, proper etiquette is for you to immediately stop blowing, and point the blower away from the person walking. Place the blower in the back of your truck, and fully secure it. Then drive to the nearest junkyard and dispose of it. You may even recoup some of the cost of it as most blowers have some recyclable parts that may have value as scrap. Then drive to a local store and buy a rake and broom, place them in your truck and secure it, and then return to the site and use the rake and/or broom from then on.
You can then continue using rakes and brooms even when other people are within earshot.
I hope you have found this guide useful!
And you are welcome!
I am glad to share etiquette advice to help landscapers have a positive relationship with their community, keeping communities quiet and free of pollution, while earning an honest living.
P.S. you can earn more money this way too, as you will take longer to rake the property, and can thus charge for more hours of work between all your clients. Also you save on gas costs, and in the long-run, equipment costs as rakes and brooms are much cheaper. You may even prevent a murder, for example, if a neighbor is driven mad by your blowing and chooses to murder you, your client, and/or other members of your team.

Gardening and landscaping is crazy. I'm relentlessly sawing off limbs, cutting off extremities, and ripping living beings out of the environment that keeps them alive. On the other hand, blackberries are total pricks

My win for the day!!!!:
It's lawn mowing day and the landscapes skipped mowing my lawn because I planted a bunch of wildflower seeds where my grass died and they have become pretty nice little seedlings!!! Take that, HOA!!!

Villa Lante, Bagnaia, Viterbo, Italy,
The Villa Lante consists of two square casini (houses), one built by Jacopo Barozzi da Vignola for Cardinal Gianfrancesco Gambara from 1566; the other was completed 30 years later for Cardinal Alessandro Peretti di Montalto.
The formal parterre gardens include complex waterworks introduced by Tommaso Ghinucci, a hydraulics engineer and architect from Siena.
The estate is now known as Villa Lante and was named after Duke Ippolito Lante, who gained possession from 1656 and whose family remained there for generations.
