Just clawing my way into their mind like a hungry little beast sniffing around how their brains work and all. As if I didn't make them up in my head myself. Real fun stuff.

oh my god i’m looking at my very first month of tumblr posts (May 2012, apparently) and it’s like a time capsule of 18-year-old me. a partial list of contents below:

-gif of jack black from school of rock

-gif of nathan explosion from metalocalypse punching someone

-pride flag my little ponies (no lesbian flag because the now commonly used one and the one that was commonly used before that literally hadn’t been invented yet. only the “lipstick lesbian” one did, if i remember correctly. oh god “lipstick lesbian” instead of “femme” was actually commonly used once. i forgot all about that term)

-a memegenerator meme about a “manarchist” hipster (we said “manarchist” and “brosocialist” instead of “dirtbag left”. i’m assuming “dirtbag left” includes leftist guys who are misogynist. i haven’t really got a handle on that new terminology yet)

-an indignant post about a gross, horrible, sexist PETA ad

-memegenerator meme making fun of ron paul supporters

-mr. lordi with a shopping cart (remember when lordi was good? i do)

-that one really fancy unitarian universalist church in connecticut or wherever it is

-post about an australian metal band composed of trans women and crossdressers that i heard about on a music podcast that a middle-aged trans lesbian from seattle whom i idolized made (she was like the cool person in whatever the hell “scene” i thought i was in. i didn’t realize she wasn’t actually famous. because if you have a blog and a podcast you’re famous, right) (post got zero notes)

-“Dave Mustaine is an asshole” (i had only just learned that dave mustaine is an asshole and i was shocked and upset because i had thought he was a cool guy and left-leaning since he wrote lots of anti-war songs)

-me sharing a meme featuring the same shitty “progressive culturally christian know-it-all type guy” move i just reblogged a post about the other day. “why are you anti-gay but have tattoos. leviticus says no to both”

If I may ask. Who's this Oliz and Theia. It's just you've reblogged many enemies to lovers posts about them and I am, as they say, intrigued.

*rubs hands together* I'M GLADDDD YOU ASKED (and if this ends up looking weird im answering from mobile so super sorry HSJSK)

Oliz and Theia are two of my ocs and I love them so so much. They're both technically the villains of the story I'm currently working on and they're idiots. They're MY idiots. Oliz Zyro is a charismatic engineer who's just a little thottie and Theia Walkman is a bitter and jaded astronaut with an explosive temper and they're both from the far future and you can read more about em right here!

Long story short their relationship isn't actually ENEMIES enemies to lovers, they're annoyances to each other in reality because they're working together by the time the story starts. I just like to imagine they piss each other off so much but they really need to work together that it borders on enemies to lovers vibes. Like having unimaginable hatred towards a coworker that eventually turns to respect then admiration then love sorta deal. It's mostly Oliz annoying Theia, but Theia also manages to get into Oliz's nerves.

Here's a couple of doodles of them that I've made (Oliz is the shorter / rounder one, Theia's the taller one with the spikes) but I've got more on my art blog @icecreampizzer ! Thanks for coming to my ted talk :)

YOU MAY have seen them already in another doodle I made of them as different IEYTD characters. Surprisingly there's a lot of overlap between these guys' personalities and dynamics in my ocs, which is always fun to see HEHEEE

well, here's my favorite fuckass sci-fi love triangle as my favorite science ladies. The notes beside them are their similarities! Most of them are close to the IEYTD canon but some are a bit more headcanon-y. Typed out notes below the cut for readability:

Tried to give some of my characters voice claims - Deja and Theia had different VCs before but I think these fit them much better :) I think I still have a hard time finding fitting VCs for OCs (it's harddd to visualizeee) but from my recent experience it's really easier if you already have a wide pool of media to choose from.

All art and characters are mine, audio belongs to Schell Games, Studio Trigger, Worthikids, and Starkid respectively :thumbsup:
