One brow raised at the Noble's sharp words, but it didn't stop him from still lighting his cigarette. Drawing in a slow deep puff, Ryuuken finally clicked the lighter shut and he turned his head to look at the Shinigami. Setting the lighter on the desk, he started speaking without blowing out the smoke letting it just cascade from his lips instead.

"And I already told you the cigarettes aren't going to hurt me." At least not in the long run. The Shinigami weren't the only ones who knew how to heal after all. "So I suggest, if I'm that important to you, that you learn how to deal with them."

Not that he expected that comment to lead to anything much. Ryuuken had long given up on the belief that anyone would truly care about him these days.
