Rob McCaffrey Sings

(Quick Background) I'm originally from the North West of England and I vaguely remember Rob McCaffrey on Granada doing the football. I was slightly freaked out by his big face. Then forgotten when I moved.

But now many many years later and thanks to Twitter this face returned and brought something else with it.

This started with @JohnBrewin_ who spotted him popping up on Soccer Saturday reporting from Crawley.

But then @richard_neary tweeted a reply which has now entered my football and music nightmares. Watch:

Nope again your eyes did not decieve. That was Ian Wrighty Wright singing a line...the Guv'nor (Paul Ince) and Teddy Sherringham just appeared. Wait, there's still more... Robbie Fowler, David Batty now... This nightmare is continuing... David James CLOSE to the camera. Hang on there's Vinnie Jones and yes, Ryan Giggs.

Pop into the recording studio now and I think that's Juninho.. there was a couple of others but it went too fast.. ah there's Lee Sharp...

I don't know about this song, I should know and I don't know how it got past. It must have been a charity recording obviously, but apart from this video (thank you YouTube for your existence) I have no information.
