On That First Porch Moth
ichangedurlsagain said: What’s the first moth called? We used to have spitfire caterpillars that used to turn into those all over our house. Not very active creatures.

This one? White Cedar Tussock Moth, Leptocneria reducta. They breed in staggering profusion on the White Cedar/Cape Lilac. See my post here, back at #14.
Probably not spitfires, since spitfires are the herbivorous young of sawfly wasps, but the caterpillars of this species do irritate, and gather around houses in swarms, to avoid the heat and find a safe place to spend the day..
