the root of a lot of discourse re: arya stark is that most of the fandom is simply not convinced shes a main character lol she has the 3rd most chapters of any character, the most of any stark, the most of any female character, the most in storm, and she is the only character to have a pov in every single book but people treat arya fans like theyre CRAZY for 1. thinking arya is a complex, dynamic character instead of a static, cardboard cutout of a tomboy and 2. thinking she is important to the story/endgame. even a theory as grounded as "i think arya could lead the bwb bc lots of reasons like she literally did it before at the stoney sept in the actual text also her wolf" and the reaction will be mockery and disbelief that you suggested she will do something other than kill xyz character before fading into irrelevancy

THE BIG HOPE
My time at the University of Energy and Natural Resources has taught me that determination can overcome any obstacle.
While earning my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is a milestone, it’s the lessons in leadership, resilience, and problem-solving that truly define me.
Despite facing numerous personal, financial and academic challenges, I learned the value of perseverance, maintaining a positive mindset, and staying focused on my goals.
Support from friends, mentors and peers was crucial, and I am grateful for the encouragement that helped me push through difficult times.
Along the way, I made sacrifices and sought personal growth, becoming an active member of various student organizations like GHIE, MESA, and IMechE, while also exploring leadership opportunities through AIESEC and student politics.
Volunteering with the Ghana Red Cross Society, Armnesty International and others reinforced my belief in the power of community and service.
As I continue my journey, I plan to pursue a Master’s degree and remain committed to helping others succeed, offering support and guidance to inspire them to reach their own dreams.
Trust the process, and success will follow.
Thank you for being part of this journey, I am grateful 🥹 ❤️

raph was never any less suited to leadership than leo
raph was never any less suited to leadership than leo
raph was N E V E R any less suited to leadership than leo
idk how many times i can say it before it sinks in that in rise there was never once any point where that was the point being made
if you just like leo’s character better than you like raph’s, that’s fine! if you just like it better when leo is leader, that’s fine! i have no issue!
but we need to stop trying to circle that leadership change back to somehow being about better or worse or ~more cut out for it~ because it sucks to throw the great job raph did through the series under the bus in order to prop up leo’s good qualities.
they’re both great leaders. they both have strong suits and weak suits in the role, they both have growth and development when they’re in that role. they BOTH make on-screen mistakes in that role and aren’t very good at it at first! not getting a more in-depth explanation about it in the movie or series stinks and it’s very interesting to explore, but seriously.

constantly thinking about parallels between the bugbusters episode and the movie with raph and leos roles being reversed:
raph was overconfident and wasn't listening to his team (mainly leo) and he paid the price for it when draxum threw leo off the roof (and he leapt after Leo without a thought or a plan or care for his own safety)
leo was overconfident and wasn't listening to his team (mainly raph) and he paid the price for it when krang took raph (and he came (leapt) for raph without a thought or a plan or care for his own safety)

I think it's interesting that Vivi calls out Luffy for his reckless leadership and at the time he says good point and then immediately comes up with a reckless plan to save Nami (but asks for her consent) and then it's Vivi who learns about Wapol's terrible leadership of just doing whatever he wants whenever he wants and how that fucked up Drum Island and not Luffy who just defeats Wapol and moves on

I've talked before about Atticus's team, but Giacomo's team also seems to have a theme of sorts: Kingambit commands an army, while Mabosstiff, Honchkrow, and Krookodile all have some sort of crime boss/gang leader theming going on. All of his Pokemon are "leaders"
The only one who doesn't fit is Cacturne, but its dex entry says that it travels in packs, so maybe the theme is supposed to be Pokemon that have "strength in numbers"... but still, I think it's worth noting that 4/5 of his Pokemon are the bosses of their groups
