Being the Princess of Australia was pretty amazing. You got to travel the world with your mother and older brother, meet amazing people (and not-so-amazing ones). You got nice clothes and did things many others your age couldn’t. You and your family were loved by the people of Australia.
When you were a kid, you had a trip to Russia. Your parents were on a political visit, and you had to go along with them. This is one of your favourite memories from childhood. Your family was shown around Moscow, and you accidentally bumped into a boy not much older than you on the street. While your parents were busy talking to other adults, you and the boy, who introduced himself as Andrei, talked and ran around together. When it was time to go, you begged your parents to ask if the pair of you could write to each other.
As you both grew up, the letters turned into emails, then messages, calls, and FaceTimes whenever the time zones allowed it. Even once he moved to Michigan for hockey, you talked whenever you could.
One of the perks of being part of the Royal family was having a say in which events came to Perth. When whispers of the NHL bringing the Global Series to Australia started, you advocated for Perth to be the city of choice. When you turned up to the meeting in Melbourne with the NHL officials, you mentioned how much you liked hockey and that Perth would show the NHL a good time. The first green light was for Perth to host the weekend event.
Your mother thought this would be a good event for you to take charge of since you were so passionate about hockey—your second passion after AFL, of course (not that you’d tell Andrei that). You took charge of organising everything for the event with the help of the city’s major event organisers.
Through the journey of organising the weekend, you advocated for the Carolina Hurricanes to be one of the teams. If the Canes were the main choice, then the most exciting game would be against the New York Rangers. The more intense a rivalry, the more likely people would be enticed to watch a sport they’d never seen.
You still remember the call with Andrei when you got the confirmation about the teams being the Canes and the Rangers. It was after dinner when you FaceTimed Andrei, who was in New York for a game.
“How’s it going, Princess?” Andrei grinned when he answered the call.
You were bouncing off the walls of your apartment in the palace. He could see you beaming. “It’s confirmed!”
“What’s confirmed?”
“You’re coming to Perth!” you squealed.
Andrei was confused. “I’m what?”
“The Global Series is coming to Perth,” you elaborated, “and the Canes are one of the teams.”
“I’m going to see you?!” Andrei asked, tears welling up as it had been a year since you had seen each other. The last time was the All-Star game when you flew out to support him. “Oh my god, I can’t wait! When?”
“September,” you answered.
“That’s like six months away!”
When the week finally arrived, you were ecstatic. Only all the years of Royalty training could mask the happiness you felt. You and your personnel were tucked away out of sight unless you were walking in from a specific plane—the one carrying all the hockey players and staff. One by one, the familiar faces of the Canes passed by where you were standing.
“Hello, Your Highness,” Aho grinned when he recognized you standing by the exit of the tunnel.
You laughed at the boy, “Hi Fishy, how are you?”
“Better now that Svech will stop bouncing,” he replied, standing near you facing his teammates coming out, waiting for his teammate. “Look who’s coming.”
Lifting yourself on your tiptoes to see over the other six-foot-plus player, you spied the familiar Russian, bouncing foot to foot in excitement.
“Gee, Princess,” Mickey, one of your guards, laughed.
As soon as Andrei got within reaching distance, you ran for him, launching yourself at him. The two of you were wrapped up in each other, both with tears running down your faces.
“I’ve missed you, Princess,” Andrei whispered.
“I missed you too.”
You tagged along with the teams to their hotel, one of the best in the city. Your mother had decided to host the teams at one of your family’s favourite restaurants, a rooftop bar overlooking the gorgeous Scarborough Beach. You had a change of clothes in the car, knowing you’d be going from one place to another without returning to the palace.
“I still can’t believe you’re here,” Andrei grinned as he watched you come out of the bathroom.
“You mean you’re here,” you smirked as you slipped in your earrings once more.
Andrei travelled with you and your security from the hotel to the restaurant. The rest of the team and staff took a bus. Your mother, older brother, and his long-term girlfriend would meet you at the restaurant, which was hired out for the night.
“How’s your family?” Andrei asked as you both stepped out of the car after one of the guards.
“You’ll see them in a sec,” you laughed, intertwining your fingers with his.
The pair beat the buses to the restaurant, so they went up to meet your mom and brother. Your security stayed by the entrance as there was already security posted around the restaurant.
“Andrei Svechnikov,” your mom smiled when she saw you two nearing. “It’s lovely to see you thriving in the league.”
“Your Majesty,” Andrei grinned, bowing and knowing the protocols.
“We’ve missed you around here,” your mom admitted.
Your brother stepped up, cutting in, “Some more than others.”
You made sure to lean over and hit him. Not the first time and definitely won’t be the last with his history of smart comments. “Shut it.”
The elevator dinged, and in walked the coaching staff and players of the two NHL teams. Each of them greeted your family before everyone mingled.
“How have you been?” you asked Seb as he and Jarvis stood with you and Andrei in the garden smoking area. No one was smoking, but it was a nice little seating area.
“Good,” both boys replied.
Water started to rain down on you guys where you sat. Seb and Jarvis raced to go inside out of the shower. You just laughed, looking at Andrei who was already looking at you. Just like the moment in every romance movie, Andrei leaned in, pressing his lips to yours in the rain. As his arms slipped around your waist, yours slipped around his neck, pulling him closer.
“Get out from the sprinklers,” your mother shouted with a large smile on her face.
You pulled away and looked up at the clear skies. The bloody sprinklers in the garden had decided to turn on while you were sitting there. You and Andrei laughed as you moved to step out of the garden area.
“I’m so sorry, Your Highness,” a worker apologized as she handed both of you a towel to dry off with.
“It’s no issue,” you laughed, your eyes not leaving the grinning Russian beside you.
The pair of you didn’t part throughout dinner. The table you were at was filled with Andrei, his favourite boys, and their partners. You were glowing with happiness, and so was Andrei. His friends were happy to see the friendship blossom into something more.
“I don’t know if you have been told,” your mother started, standing from her seat with the coaching staff, “but on Friday evening, I got three boxes, including the royal box, at the AFL game tomorrow. It’s Eagles vs. Dockers, which is a big game. It’s called the Derby.”
“It’s the equivalent to a Rangers versus Islanders game or the Oilers versus Flames,” you elaborated for the players who had no clue about the sport.
The week was spent with Andrei, attending practices and hanging out with your best friend. If he had enough time, he’d come to your apartment in the palace. It wasn’t just Andrei either; sometimes you and Andrei would take the others and partners out around the city. You got to play host and tour guide around your home city.
Friday night came around, and you dressed up like you usually do for football: jeans, a cute top with a coat, and an Eagles scarf to finish the outfit. You had brought your clothes to the hotel to get ready with Andrei. The two teams had taken sides. Canes were supporting West Coast like you. Rangers were supporting Fremantle like your brother and his girlfriend.
“You look excited,” Andrei grinned as you and the group arrived at the royal box at Optus Stadium.
“I love watching the footy!” you grinned, waving at fans standing below the box.
In the royal box were you, Andrei and his close friends and partners, your mother, and security. Your brother and his girlfriend were with the Rangers as they were cheering on Fremantle. You and the group were excited for the centre bounce. Of course, the group was going through the media as it was a big deal with the NHL teams in the city.
“Your Highness, are you ready to go down to do the coin flip?”
“Of course,” you smiled at the worker.
You, Andrei, your brother, and Trouba followed the worker down to the oval. Your brother would do this week’s coin toss as you did the previous derby. The four of you, two supporters of each team. Oscar Allen and Alex Pearce both bowed to the royals, then shook hands with the four of you.
“Lovely to see you again, Oscar,” you grinned as you hugged the captain.
“You as well, Your Highness,” the blonde chuckled.
After the coin toss, which the Eagles won, they chose the way they were kicking first before the royal party was escorted back to the boxes to watch the game. As the group walked past the Eagles huddle, Harley Reid peeled away from the group for a second to fist bump the Princess as she walked by.
“Good luck, Harley,” you called as he ran back.
Harley waved back, a wide grin on the rookie's face, “We’ve got this.”
Andrei was confused at the interaction but knew you were friendly with all the players on the team. “Who’s that?”
“That is Harley Reid,” you answered. “He was the number one draft pick last year. He’s changed the mood on the team greatly. Great dude.”
As you and Andrei settled back in the suite, you cuddled into Andrei’s side. It was kind of chilly but nothing too crazy. The boys threw questions at you about the game. Who’s this player? What’s that move? What is the ref calling?
“What does it mean when they kick it between the posts?” Aho asked as the Eagles scored the first goal of the game.
You laughed at the question after you finished cheering. “It’s a goal, worth six points. Between the inner and outer posts on each side is a behind, worth only a point.”
The game went by with lots of cheering from the Canes and yourself. The game took off with an exciting start. The Eagles kept the lead through all four quarters. Sure, the Dockers came close, but the Eagles took off in the last quarter. The satisfaction of singing the winning song was incredible, and all the boys enjoyed it.
The next big event was the first game of the Global Series in Perth. You traveled with the Canes to the stadium while your family would meet you there just before the game. It was agreed that you and your brother would both do the puck drop. He said he’d wear the Rangers jersey to allow you to wear the Canes jersey of your upgraded best friend.
“This will be you and the Canes families’ suite, Your Highness,” a worker stated as you were shown where you’d sit for the game.
As much as you wished to sit in the front row to watch your boyfriend, you couldn’t. It was too high risk for security. So instead, you were in the suite with the girlfriends of the Canes, which you guess you were now a part of.
“Hey sweetheart,” Brent Burns’ wife greeted you with their two kids.
After spending so long with the team and families, you had told them to just call you by your name. And like normal, nicknames were created. Andrei always called you Princess. The team called you Your Highness. The older women in the families called you sweetheart.
The game was intense, and the girls were energetic. You were on your feet every time the boys scored. The girls were right there beside you as well. The first thing you all did after the game was head down to where the makeshift change rooms were.
“There she is,” Andrei grinned when he came off the ice after the photos were taken.
You smiled and wrapped your arms around the giant hockey player. “Wow, it’s like you’re taller on skates.”
“I wonder,” he laughed, pulling you closer.
“Congrats on the hatty, Mr. Sweaty.”
Andrei chuckled, leaning down and pressing a kiss to your lips, “With my good luck charm watching me and cheering me on, always, My Princess.”

how to speak to their venus sign
Have you ever felt like you're speaking a different language to your partner? Or perhaps that someone in your life seems like a complete puzzle, their desires and needs shrouded in mystery? Well, buckle up, stargazers, because the answer might be swirling in the cosmos above.
In astrology, Venus governs all things love, beauty, and pleasure. It's the planet that whispers sweet nothings in our ears and paints the world in hues of romance. But here's the secret: Venus doesn't speak a universal language. It has a dialect unique to each individual, expressed through their Venus sign.
So, how do we decipher this celestial love code? By learning to speak the language of their Venus! This isn't just about decoding romantic desires, it's about understanding how they receive and express affection in all aspects of life, from friendships to family bonds.
Ready to embark on this cosmic journey? Let's dive into the Venus signs and unlock the secrets to speaking their language:
Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius):
Venus in Aries: These fiery souls crave passion and excitement. Think grand gestures, playful banter, and adventures that set their hearts ablaze. Forget roses and candlelight dinners, surprise them with tickets to a rock concert or a spontaneous weekend getaway.
Venus in Leo: Attention and adoration are the oxygen of these lions. Shower them with compliments, celebrate their achievements, and bask in their radiance. A bouquet of vibrant sunflowers delivered fresh from a Perth flower delivery service like [Insert Perth flower delivery service] would be a perfect gesture.
Venus in Sagittarius: Freedom and intellectual stimulation are the ultimate turn-on for these free spirits. Engage them in stimulating conversations, plan trips to exotic locales, and let your adventurous side shine.
Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn):
Venus in Taurus: Sensuality and comfort are the keys to unlocking a Taurus heart. Indulge in luxurious spa days, whip up a gourmet meal together, and surround yourselves with beautiful things. Spoil them with a decadent box of chocolates or a silk robe they can sink into.
Venus in Virgo: Practicality and thoughtfulness win the day with these analytical minds. Help them organize their home, offer solutions to their problems, and show appreciation for their meticulousness. A potted plant they can nurture or a personalized engraved pen would be thoughtful gifts.
Venus in Capricorn: Ambition and stability are what make these earth signs tick. Support their career goals, build a secure future together, and demonstrate your commitment. A meaningful piece of jewelry or a personalized item engraved with their initials would be cherished.
Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius):
Venus in Gemini: These social butterflies thrive on intellectual connection and witty banter. Keep the conversations flowing, introduce them to new people, and embrace their playful spirit. A subscription box filled with books or gadgets would spark their curiosity.
Venus in Libra: Harmony and aesthetics are paramount for these peacemakers. Create a beautiful environment, indulge in romantic outings, and strive for balance in your relationship. A bouquet of pastel-colored flowers from a flower delivery Perth service would be a delightful surprise.
Venus in Aquarius: Independence and individuality are the cornerstones of these rebels' hearts. Give them space, respect their boundaries, and encourage their unique perspectives. Tickets to a quirky art exhibition or a tech conference would be appreciated gifts.
Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces):
Venus in Cancer: Nurturing and emotional security are essential for these sensitive souls. Offer words of affirmation, create a cozy atmosphere, and make them feel loved and cherished. A heartfelt letter or a framed picture of the two of you would be treasured mementos.
Venus in Scorpio: Intensity and passion are the aphrodisiacs for these mysterious beings. Engage in deep conversations, delve into their emotional depths, and show them you're not afraid of their shadows. A single, exquisite rose delivered with a handwritten poem would speak volumes.
Venus in Pisces: Dreams, imagination, and emotional connection are the keys to unlocking a Pisces heart. Be their creative muse, listen to their fantasies, and offer a shoulder to cry on. A personalized piece of art or a donation to their favorite charity in their name would resonate with them.
Remember, these are just starting points. Each Venus sign is nuanced and influenced by other astrological placements. But by understanding the core themes of each sign, you can begin to speak their language of love. So, the next time you feel lost in translation, look up your loved ones' Venus signs and start deciphering their celestial love code. You might be surprised at what you find!

Commemorating Funeral Anniversaries: Keeping Memories Alive Year After Year
Anniversaries of a loved one’s passing can be deeply emotional, providing an opportunity to honour their memory and reflect on the impact they had on our lives. As a Funeral Celebrant in Perth, I understand that these significant dates can also help in the healing process by encouraging meaningful remembrance. While the journey of grief is unique for everyone, here are thoughtful ways to keep the memory of loved ones alive, year after year.
Tumblr media
1. Light a Candle in Their Honour
Lighting a candle can serve as a simple yet powerful ritual of remembrance. You can do this at home, during a family gathering, or at their resting place. The flame represents the light they brought into your life, offering a quiet moment to reflect on cherished memories. To make this act even more meaningful, consider pairing it with a short reading, poem, or prayer that resonates with your loved one’s life. You might also invite family members to share a thought or memory as the candle burns. This can become a comforting annual ritual, creating a moment of stillness and connection.
2. Create a Memorial Tradition
Establishing a tradition on their anniversary can create a sense of continuity and comfort. For example, planting a tree or a perennial plant in their memory can provide a living tribute that grows year after year, symbolising their enduring presence in your life. Hosting a small family gathering can be an opportunity to share stories, look through photographs, or enjoy their favourite meal together. You could also visit a location they loved, such as a park, beach, or another special place, using this time to reflect on shared memories. As a Funeral Celebrant in Perth, I often see families find solace in such meaningful actions, as they offer a way to honour their loved one while creating new, positive memories.
3. Share Stories and Memories
Gathering family and friends to share stories is a beautiful way to keep memories alive. Whether it’s through a dedicated evening of storytelling or a casual chat, these conversations not only celebrate the individual but also strengthen bonds among those who loved them. To enhance the experience, consider asking each person to bring a memento or photo that reminds them of the person being remembered. You could also compile these stories into a keepsake book or digital file to revisit in the future. Sharing memories often leads to laughter, tears, and a deeper appreciation of the unique role the individual played in everyone’s life.
4. Contribute to a Cause in Their Name
Honouring a loved one by supporting a cause they cared about can give significant meaning to their anniversary. This could involve donating to a charity, volunteering, or organising a fundraising event in their name. For instance, if they were passionate about animal welfare, you might support a local animal shelter. Alternatively, if they valued education, you could sponsor a scholarship in their memory. Another idea is organising a group activity, such as a charity walk or food drive, where participants can reflect on their life and legacy. These gestures not only carry on their values but also provide a sense of purpose and connection to their memory.
5. Revisit the Eulogy or Ceremony Details
Revisiting the eulogy or the details of their funeral ceremony can be a comforting way to reflect on the meaningful words shared at their farewell. You could keep a copy of the eulogy in a memory box or scrapbook, adding photos and other keepsakes from the day. If a video of the ceremony exists, rewatching it can provide an opportunity to reconnect with the moments of love and respect shown by family and friends. Many clients of mine as a Funeral Celebrant in Perth find this process to be an invaluable way to remember not only their loved one but also the community of support that surrounded them.
6. Create a Memorial Scrapbook or Digital Archive
Collecting photos, letters, and mementos into a scrapbook or digital archive offers a creative outlet for remembrance. This project can evolve over time, with family members contributing pieces that reflect their unique relationship with the individual. Including scanned images of handwritten notes, tickets from shared outings, or holiday cards can make it especially personal. Digital archives can also allow for the inclusion of video or audio recordings, such as voice messages or clips from celebrations. These collections become cherished family treasures that can be revisited whenever you wish to reconnect with their memory.
7. Perform an Act of Kindness in Their Memory
Doing something kind for others in their name can transform grief into a positive action. Whether it’s buying a coffee for a stranger, helping a neighbour, or mentoring someone, these acts can bring a sense of purpose and connection to the day. You might also consider making this a community effort by encouraging friends and family to join in and share their acts of kindness. Some families choose to dedicate a social media post to the anniversary, encouraging others to "pay it forward" in honour of their loved one. Such actions turn remembrance into a force for good, reflecting their spirit in meaningful ways.
8. Dedicate Time to Self-Reflection
Sometimes, the most meaningful way to honour a loved one is by taking time for personal reflection. Writing a letter to them can be a therapeutic way to express your feelings and share updates about your life. Alternatively, meditating on cherished memories or creating a playlist of their favourite songs can evoke a deep sense of connection. Journaling can also be helpful, as it allows you to explore your emotions and memories more fully. Setting aside this personal time on their anniversary provides space to grieve, heal, and celebrate their ongoing presence in your heart.
Supporting Clients Through Anniversaries
While the role of a Funeral Celebrant in Perth is primarily focused on creating meaningful ceremonies, we also understand that grief continues beyond the service. These anniversaries can provide opportunities to celebrate life, nurture connections, and find peace.
Remember, there is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to commemorate anniversaries. Choose activities that resonate with you and your family, ensuring they reflect the unique spirit of your loved one. By doing so, you honour their memory while fostering healing and connection in your own life.

Molly Schmidt Salt River Road won the TAG Hungerford Award
Coming of age story of small town life and the complexity of family and community relationships was based on Schmidt’s own experience growing up in Albany, a town in the Great Southern District of Washington, and losing her father to cancer. Schmidt was 15 when she first wrote the story idea in a notebook on a car trip from Albany to Perth. The Hungerford Prize has launched some jobs including that of the world’s best-selling author Natasha Lister. attributed to him: For a while it was “more of a therapeutic job” and it remained unchanged in my desk drawer while I got my degree in creative writing and started working in media. After three years as a journalist, she became “familiar with the ignoring and ignoring of Aboriginal stories and voices in the media in general” and it occurred to her that she was a writer in Western Australia with a responsibility to write in an inclusive manner. She decided to include Noongar characters in her book, but to avoid cultural appropriation, profiling, or symbolism, she did a college honors project in which she returned to Albany and consulted directly with the Noongar Elders. “In March of this year, when I presented salt river road To Hungerford, I have spent a few months in a six month period in Albany. I just started a new job in the ABC office there, and my partner, Pete, and I are still surrounded by packing boxes,” she told Fremantle Press at the time of her award nomination. “There was so much to do, a dog that needed a walk, and emails that needed checking, yet I wrote the Hungerford Prize’ on the board in big red big letters. I never for a moment imagined I would be on the long list, let alone the list abbreviated, but it was my first time getting a full draft of my manuscript, and I had this nagging feeling of “If not now, when?” So she postponed her other jobs and spent weeks honing the manuscript for submission. “I thought it was the end of it. I was proud just to refine and submit the draft. Fremantle Press has always been my dream publisher salt river road; So, to be recognized by them? I’m still squeezing myself.” salt river road It will be published in November 2023. Ok, now the dust has settled & it looks like we are getting nowhere with the stadium...let’s talk about what happened with our seats at #MelbourneRepTour
As you know, Paige saved all of her birthday & Christmas moneys from the 1989 tour until the Rep tour tickets came out. I told her I would match whatever she saved & we would buy the best seats we could get with her amazing effort....I am soooo proud of her for saving for 3yrs knowing that seeing @taylorswift again was what she wanted...
Did I mention Paige is only 10 years old & this is her 3rd tour, the second one we travelled interstate for & the first one she saved for HERSELF.
She remained dedicated & I stayed the course, even when people told her Taylor was over, she wasn’t writing anymore blah blah blah, we all know what the haters said...she & I stood up for Taylor, knowing she would come back when she was ready & hoping she was having a much deserved break from cameras & the K-words...
Fast forward to the TaylorSwift.com fan presale and we managed to score seats in
SECTION B8 ROW BB SEATS 3&4...
we couldn’t afford the box but we thought our seats on the edge of the
2nd row in the middle of the stadium
were pretty awesome for a 10yr old girl to have saved for...
So we are from Adelaide & Taylor alternates between Adelaide & Perth for tours, so we hoped she would stop that tradition this time after selling out Adelaide over 2 nights for 1989, it was not to be & I told Paige when they announced the Aussie dates, “Babe, she’s not coming to Adelaide” her response:
“So where are we going to travel to see her Mum?”
Like I said - Paige is as dedicated as I am, I played Taylor’s music to her in my tummy when I was pregnant & literally made a Swiftie.
So Melbourne was closer & had better seats for the presale, so got those seats, the flights were going to be more manageable & we had hoped to bring the whole family over on a Great Ocean Road road trip...
We got our tickets December 2017
(I think it was like the 15th? The very first presale)
Fast forward to 7th January 2018 and Paige got bullied to the point of tears for saving her money for the tickets & getting what she wanted...the angle was that she was spoiled & “she will need a rich man to keep her because she gets everything she wants” & if she wants to keep following Taylor she’s going to need a man to help her....my reply was “I am so proud of her for saving for 3 years & she isn’t going to need a man because she is going to be successful in her own right & grow up to be a strong independent woman who will work hard for her dreams & she is going to make them happen”...her father stood there & watched it happen & said nothing...I asked him on our way home why he couldn’t defend her, it turned into a massive argument with no answer...he left & hasn’t come back.
So now we are separated & right up to two days before the tour, he was trying to stop me from bringing Paige to Melbourne for Rep Tour, even though it was her dream & goal etc.
We got to Melbourne & were first in line at the gate when doors opened along with our AMAZING #SwiftieCircle - we collected Swifties from Taiwan, Tasmania, Adelaide, Melbourne, Mackay, Japan - anyone who was alone or walked past us was invited to join our Swiftie circle & we shared all things Taylor, our life stories & fave songs...I know these girls are lifers!
Gates open & we headed to the front of our section looking for our seats...I had shared & studies the seating map for 10 months,
I knew where to go....only our row wasn’t there...
Instead of being at the front of our section, we were at the second to last row, one row between us & barricade...which ended up being great for barricade, but Paige couldn’t see a thing from the back rows...bless her heart, while the Broods & Charli were on she was on her tip toes peeking between heads & gave up & just danced and jumped & had fun....
I couldn’t shake the feeling that our seats weren’t right...but I wanted to be in the moment, so I danced with Paige...in the break between Charli & Taylor I spoke to the ladies in front of us, who also seemed confused about our seats...and we spoke to the security guard (who LOVED Paige’s outfit & turned out to be our hero)...he said we had to speak to the Marvel staff...the Marvel staff said we could go to the tickets box & speak to them, but the show was sold out so there was nothing they could do....the Marvel lady was lovely & apologised that they had clearly put the rows in wrong & that the double letters are always at the front & she had no idea what had happened, but there was nothing we could do except complain
on Monday...3 days after the concert
I was gutted,
Paigey saved so hard & our seats would’ve been perfect for her to see...but instead we spent the concert on our toes trying desperately for a glimpse of Taylor...we eventually gave up & just danced together & had fun...but it doesn’t take away what the stadium did to us...also a security guard tried to kick us out for asking about our seats...he was aggressive & horrible. The lady from Marvel was lovely & apologetic...and even tried to upgrade us herself. But this man was horrible.
No one wants to take responsibility for this.
We saved, we flew, we asked politely & we were devastated. When we found out there was nothing they could do I went back to the original security guard & asked if he would let us stand at the barricade for when a Taylor came along...he agreed & even saved our spot for us....When Taylor came through he was standing in front of me but made sure that Paige got to touch her...It’s an adorable moment & really the only one we have to hold onto for the concert as we really didn’t see the rest of it...I didn’t even see the dancers...I literally held my phone up in the air & tried to capture whatever I could so I could watch it when I got home & I just danced & sung with Paige & tried to help her see...
I desperately wanted to go to Brisbane tour as it’s on what was meant to be my wedding anniversary & I know that the 6th November is going to be manipulative & horrible with the ex....the Rep Tour was literally the one day we had to look forward to this year & it wasn’t at all what it was meant to be....
I’m grateful for the security guard & that he helped Paige hold Taylor’s hand...that is a moment I know we will never forget...I just wish we could’ve enjoyed & seen the entire concert from our paid for seats.....
A tip for any future Rep Tour Swifties, check your seats early & move on it quickly...I wish we had, although maybe it wouldn’t have made a difference....

bored. bored with my job. i had two days which were good at work, today was not. we got moved onto calls which is always shit but then we dont get any support from our ‘tl’her response is look in the book, and coming next week we will have to put our reqs through a phone line which is bullshit i dont understand why there is a lack of help or assistance, why is there such resistance?
on another front d is not speaking to t because he laughed at her rage over him leaving a toothpaste box in the bathroom... insane.
another front i applied for an internship at a production company i would actually like to work at, of course i think i fucked up my cover letter because i was so brain dead from this stupid job. i havent written anything, i want to start getting into that. oh another thing. i am working every weekend for 5 weeks, on the 5th week i am working 6 days while my colleagues get to work sunday where they get $500.00 a day. i am going to complain about it idgaf anymore its a shithouse job with shithouse people the only bearable thing is the nice-r people from perth.
i dont know i guess i am just frustrated at everything atm haha. i tried meditating in bed last night - i have been doing it during my breaks sometimes but last night i did guided, it was interesting i will do it again tonight. nothing else i can be bothered writing about, hopefully i will win the lotto tomorrow and can just get the hell out of here and live my life like a normal person.

CECE MY BELOVED
firstly, i hope you know you never have to apologise for responding late. you have things to do! places to be! you don’t need to reply to me in two seconds, i am more than happy to wait, i know you’ll respond eventually. but trust me i missed you and our little letters loads too!!
it was so fun, i made a little tiktok (because i have a private little tiktok i post just for my friends on) and my friend said i had a problem :/ and i just told him to shut up 😌 i went to TWO DIFFERENT BOOK STORES! it was so fun, i loved it so much. i was also meant to change my nose jewellery too, but i didn’t get around to it :( and i’m planning on redecorating my room soon, so new bookshelf is on the top of the list!
it’s more like sydney has a bad reputation amongst the rest of australia (not as bad as perth or western australia), and also my dad said it was shit too, so i was kinda iffy about going, but it was better than i thought! and cece, it’s so big over there, i felt so claustrophobic and lost. thankfully my friend had her brother and his partner there!
the japanese was absolutely amazing, i just crave the ramen and the green tea ice cream all the time now. green tea ice cream >>>>
i must say, i do have a knack for finding cute cafés! and we don’t anything like the queer café where i live, so it was a lovely surprise. and honestly, just book the ticket and we’ll do a café tour. for now, take this photo of the queer café!
Tumblr media
thank you so much, cece! i was proud of myself (me: look, i only bought two books! *also me: buys seventeen books four days beforehand*) no way, i have an obsession with pins too! i have a little box i keep them in called my insanity box :) here it is!!
Tumblr media
the lego sunflowers are so cute. i bought myself the tulips one time and they were so fun to make
the concert was so much fun!!! i had such a good time! the thing is: my friend and i are quite short, so we probably would have been trampled in the standing area, but our seats were so good we couldn’t complain! and i went to like a kpop festival! i have liked kpop since i was fourteen i think? and my friend only knew one group, so i was like her sensei (i also found out the person who made me queer [not joking] was going, so i had to)
my next trip was booked before sydney, but i’ve been looking forward to it since march! i have so much planned (including a lot of bookstores) so i really can’t wait!
and budapest!! that sounds so lovely! as much as i love new places, i love going back to places i’ve been before, i think the nostalgia makes it a whole lot better!
and i am so so so proud of you, my darling! i know how hard it is to speak a language that isn’t your mother tongue, especially when you are already nervous about ordering food and approaching people, so i really mean it when i say i’m beyond impressed! it also helps when people are nice, i’m glad you had a good experience with speaking english there, because sometimes when the people are rude, it makes you insecure about your speaking skills
that sounds like the perfect day out! yummy food and good views: who can resist? and the cruise would have been so lovely at night so you could see all the night life! i wish i could have seen it (and eaten some of that food! food airdrop, when?)
but yes, get lots of rest today and drink lots of water. you’ll need it! i’m sending you a hug that squeezes you super tight and a lil forehead kiss <333
hello cece!!!
how are you my dear? i hope these past few days have treated you kindly. it’s been two days and i’ve missed you. as promised, here is a little recap of my trip!!
before my trip though, i took myself out on a date! i caught the tram all the way down the line and went shopping by myself. i bought a grand total of seventeen books :) (my arms were very sore) in one of the bookstores i went into, they have this thing where you can buy them wrapped, so it adds a bit of mystery. all you know about it is the hints and descriptions written on the paper. curiosity got the better of me, and i bought two. i also managed to find a lot of classics, including two works of oscar wilde, i hadn’t seen before. now i just need to buy myself a new bookshelf next time i go out…
so my trip! i went to sydney with a friend. i’ve never been before, and honestly, it’s pretty alright. i don’t think i could live there or go for any longer than i did, but it wasn’t too bad, considering all the bad things i have heard about it. we went initially for a concert on the saturday, but we were like “hey we may as well stay the friday night too.”
cece, when i say i had the best japanese i’ve ever had in my entire life on friday night, i mean it. we had gyozas, karaage chicken and a spicy pork ramen. i wished i could have finished it all, it was so delicious. we had to wait for a table for maybe half an hour, but it was sooo worth it. afterwards, we had their green tea ice cream, which was incredible. i would send you a cone!
the concert started at 7pm on the saturday, so we had the day to kill. we met up with my friend’s brother and his partner, and they took us around to their fav places. we went into the gayest cafe i have ever been to in my entire life. not one person in that building was cishet. rainbows were EVERYWHERE. the entrance was painted rainbow, little rainbow flags were hanging out the windows, they had the cute collectable spoons. it was adorable. we had paninis and tea, and i had never felt so at home.
after we ate, we went into this shopping centre into the coolest little bookstore. i bought two books and a little pin. i restrained myself, i was so proud. i was served by a person with the coolest mullet (i mustered the courage to tell them and they were so sweet). we also went to the lego store (i bought lego sunflowers for my friend’s birthday), it was just a really fun time
now the concert. i have never been to a concert before, but it was so so so fun. we had the best seats you could get without vip, and i’m talking perfect view of the stage. i was so tired after, but in a good way
well, now i am home and i’m so happy i went on that trip. i needed the break from work and uni, and i have another trip coming up too, so i should be less stressed throughout the semester :))
now, tell me how you’ve been, what you’ve been up to, i love hearing about your day :( sending you a big hug <3
Hello Nero!! <3
i’m sorry i’m late to answer, but i was on a little trip too actually!! and i’ve missed you so much in these few days!! i’ve missed out letters!!
oh my god nero!!! that date sounds amazing!!! i love that kind of me time so much!! and i mean, you got out of the shop with 17 books?? that’s literally the best way to spend a day!!! and i love those wrapped books where you can’t really know much about what’s inside, it’s so awesome when you get home and you unwrap them 🥺 and all the classics!! you’re definitely gonna need a new bookshelf but i’m guessing it’s gonna be worth it for all these new books!!
wait does sydney have a bad reputation?? i didn’t know this! but i’m really glad you liked it, even if not for more than a few days 😅 and it seems fair, i guess it’s a really big and chaotic city so it can’t be easy to live there.
but that japanese, oh my god i’m craving some too now!! it sounds sooo good!! i haven’t had japanese in so long, especially the green tea ice cream, and now i really really crave a cone, so i would gladly accept that one!!
nero i swear, every time you talk about these little cafes you go to you make me want to book a plane ticket to australia to come try all of them. and this one sounds so awesome!! gosh i wish i was there too to see all the rainbows and feel at home!!! it honestly sounds like the perfect queer cafe!!! why don’t i have something like that here too?? 😭 the urge to book a plane ticket is getting really strong, i’m not even kidding
nero i’m so proud of you, two books and a pin is so little!! i wish i had that kind of restraint. and what kind of pin did you get?? (i’m sorry i just have an obsession for pins). also, that is so sweet!! and now i’m picturing them with the coolest mullet, thank you for this mental image 😻
it really does sound like the best time!! the lego store also sounds so nice, i’ve never seen lego sunflowers but it sounds like the cutest birthday present 🥺
and the concert!!! your first concert is always the coolest experience!! definitely tiring too, but i’m so happy you had fun!! and the seats seem perfect!! i’ve never been to a concert where i had seats, i’ve always had parterre, but i’m so happy you could see the stage that well!! and who did you go see?? (if you want to say of course!)
uhh another trip? that’s great!! you deserve some little breaks like this with all that stress from uni and work!! i’m so glad you had fun and hope your next trip is as good as this one!!! <33
so as i said i was on a little trip too! i went to budapest, it was kind of a last minute holiday, but i had a lot of fun!! i’d already seen the city a few years ago but i loved it so much i was happy to go back. we just spent a few days there so we didn’t get to see the whole city, because it’s really big, but i’m still really glad i got to see some of my favorite places again!!
also, i went with my mum, who doesn’t speak english at all, so i was supposed to be in charge and talk all the time, and i was so worried because i can never talk to people, but i did it!! i managed to walk into restaurants and ask for a table or ask people for directions and stuff like that and everyone was just so nice!!
we went to the bastion which is my absolute favorite place and you can see the whole city from there, and we also did a little cruise on the danube at night so we could see all the city lit up and it was awesome!! and i got to eat some of that amazing food again!! they have a lot of fried and spicy stuff that is soooo good. i wish i could send you some of that too because honestly it’s amazing!!
i got back last night and now i’m super tired because of all the walking in the city but i’m glad i went too, it was a really nice trip!!
i’m sending you a big big hug and a forehead kiss <33

Please Excuse Me
I had my day in court earlier this week. After being on the electoral role for several years, I finally had my summons to sit on a jury. In a town of only low five figured eligible jurors, it had seemed a long time coming. I have friends that have been called up within weeks of arriving and amending their voting registration but every time I checked the mail box, it was more often that not another sodding letter for pervious occupants. I have sent well over a hundred return to sender, not at this address messages scrawled across envelopes back to the post office. It's reached the point that I keep thinking to google whether I can legally just start binning their mail. Maybe, I'll do that once I've finished writing this. Anyway, one day in early August a letter from the Sheriff's Office arrived addressed to me, and not one of the half dozen muppets who are too lazy to tell the banks they've moved, informing me of my requirement to attend the Supreme Court 'on the 27th day of September 2021, at 8:45 oclock in the forenoon'. 'In the forenoon', how quaint, how exciting!
A formal letter with my name across the top and one not requiring me to get out the credit card, and a pink slip to be returned to the Sheriff saying yes or no. We have a Sheriff? Do they have a badge the shape of a star, spurred boots perhaps? Is their horse tied up to the outside of the Court, or maybe Bojangles the Saloon Bar on Todd Street? Either way, I don't think it's someone I want to mess with. If I say no, will I be called upon to take time out of my day for a duel in the Mall at noon? I don't want a midday stand-off, that's when I take my lunch. Ah no, punishable by a fine it seems, not a duel. Even so, I responded in the affirmative; yes, I am indeed available on the 27th and understand that I may be called to serve on a jury of a Supreme Court case running then or anytime up to four to six weeks later. No worries at all Boss.
Tumblr media
I pinned the summons to the fridge so I wouldn't forget and popped the date into my work calendar so I could arrange bush trips around it. I informed my manager. I went to work and carried on working away a lot. This intensified after I applied for and accepted a role with another agency which meant suddenly I had to get sh!t done before my last day of the 8th October. I was away on one trip until the 24th September, a Friday and the last working day before my summons.
The four to six week period was now covering my final two weeks of my current employ, and then the beginning of a new role 3000 kilometres away from all my future colleagues who work out of Perth. I couldn't afford to do my civic duty. The next two weeks critical to ensuring that the three ranger groups I work with have ongoing work plans and that I have written handover documents despite not being directly replaced. Instead, each group will soon be getting dedicated Ranger Co-ordinators but not until weeks or even months after I've left. My next two weeks were promising to be busy especially having been out bush working with these groups the previous weeks. I needed to be excused.
Over a coffee with a friend the day before, it was mentioned to me that you can indeed get out of it if you successfully plead your case. Well then, tomorrow morning that is what I shall do. I walked up to the Supreme Court at 8:30 in the forenoon, a full fifteen minutes before expected so as to appear polite. The security officer at the door asked if I was there due to a jury summons. 'Why yes kind Sir, please may I enter' were the words hidden behind my nodding. "Did you call the number on the letter? You're due here Wednesday now." What number, what letter? Turns out on the formal letter, long since buried under a pile of other people's mail include the instructions to call an 1800 number before turning up on Monday which informed us potential jurors that we're not required until Wednesday.
This is disappointing since I was still hoping to get to Finke for work before my notice period was up. On the other hand, our HR department is on the top floor of this building, so I might be able to get them to write me a letter supporting my service deferral. They could, and since I now knew a little more, I was also able to write a Statutory Declaration and be far better armed for Wednesday morning.
When that day arrived, I had both documents and could not wait to hand them over to the mystery Sheriff. Having passed through security, I was instructed to take the stairs up to the next floor. There a lady behind a desk asked for the pink slip with my jury ID number on it. I handed it over and asked who I should show my requests for deferral to. "You'll need to ask the Judge for permission so best keep hold of them and head in."
In meant in to the public gallery to take one of the hundred or more seats that face the raised rostrum of the Judge's seat, under the seal of the Commonwealth of Australia. To the left, a witness box and an area where the defendant sits. To the right, the jury seats and in front, the defence and prosecution desks. Slowly, the other seats fill. Sometime after 9am, and with several dozen potential jurors seated we are informed of our instructions. We are led through the mechanics of a courtroom and what to expect, how jurors will be selected by drawing our numbers out of a tombola. How, should we be selected for this case, we can expect to serve for a couple of days. If not, that we should return for the next case to find out whether our number is up. And again after for four to six weeks. Unless we plead a case not to serve to the Judge from the witness box. Then we all stand up as the Judge enters the room.
Once he's seated, we sit and the morning begins in earnest. First the two charges against the defendant are read out, the not guilty plea to both is heard, the names of the witnesses who will take the stand as well as some other instructions are given before the Judge calls on those who think they have just cause not to participate. I line up.
I'm fifth in a line of eight. The first is excused from this case on account of being a good friend of the defendant. The next three excused from either the case or the full four to six weeks depending on their circumstances. My turn.
"Do you want the religious pledge or the promise" I'm asked by one of the Court attendants.
"The promise" I reply.
She then recites a few lines, something about the Queen and telling the truth and asks me to assert 'I promise' at the end, which I do before taking my seat in the witness box. This is somewhat unnerving. To my right is the defendant who has been sitting through thirty odd minutes of pre-trial jargon still innocent of their crimes until proven otherwise. Here I am, asking Sir if I can be excused from my civic duty because I'm a little bit busy at work.
The Judge asks my name and I lean forward towards the microphone.
"It's Hodgetts". Am I supposed to say Sir? Maybe it's Your Honour. Instead, I go with neither.
"Mr Hodgetts do you wish to excuse yourself from this case or your full civic duty?"
"Um yeah all of it I uh got a new job and um since I got my summons and said yes er things have changed and um I have a letter and er I wrote a Stat Dec so um I'd like to..."
"Show me the letters"
One of the Court officials takes them from me and hands them to the Judge. He scans them both before handing them back.
Fortunately, my mumbling and supporting documents as well as the benevolence of the Judge saw my deferral successful and I will be returning most likely early next year to have my number in a tombola for the selection lottery to be whittled down to twelve. I may be called to be one of them, I may not but until then I'm free to finish my job without risking being tied up in a Courtroom for days or weeks depending on the next case. This particular day in Court, a successful one. I do wonder though whether the same could be said for the defendant.

What Is Casino Nsw Postcode
Tumblr media
Australian postcodes have four digits; many envelopes for posting within Australia show this.
Casino Nsw Postcode
Mosman Nsw Postcode
Jan 11, 2019  2469 postcode in New South Wales (near Lismore) with map, local transport and hotel information and nearby attractions. Postcode 2469 - New South Wales (near Lismore) - Postcodes. SEIFA 2016 by New South Wales SA1. SEIFA 2016 by Victoria SA1. SEIFA 2016 by Queensland SA1. SEIFA 2016 by South Australia SA1. SEIFA 2016 by Western Australia SA1. SEIFA 2016 by Tasmania SA1. SEIFA 2016 by NT, ACT and Other Territories SA1. SEIFA by State Suburb Code (SSC).
Postcodes are used in Australia to more efficiently sort and route mail within the Australian postal system. Postcodes in Australia have four digits and are placed at the end of the Australian address. Postcodes were introduced in Australia in 1967 by the Postmaster-General's Department and are now managed by Australia Post, and are published in booklets available from post offices or online from the Australia Post website.
Australian envelopes and postcards often have four square boxes printed in orange at the bottom right for the postcode. These are used when addressing mail by hand for Australian delivery.
4Allocation
History[edit]
Postcodes were introduced in Australia in 1967 by the Postmaster-General's Department (PMG) to replace earlier postal sorting systems, such as Melbourne's letter and number codes (e.g., N3, E5) and a similar system then used in rural and regional New South Wales. The introduction of the postcodes coincided with the introduction of a large-scale mechanical mail sorting system in Australia,[1] starting with the Sydney GPO.
By 1968, 75% of mail was using postcodes, and in the same year post office preferred-size envelopes were introduced,[1] which came to be referred to as “standard envelopes”.
Postcode squares were introduced in June 1990[2] to enable Australia Post to use optical character recognition (OCR) software in its mail sorting machines to automatically and more quickly sort mail by postcodes.
Format[edit]
Australian postcodes consist of four digits (three in the Northern Territory [3]), and are written after the name of the city, suburb, or town, and the state or territory:
Mr John Smith
100 Citizen Road
BLACKTOWN NSW 2148
When writing an address by hand, and a row of four boxes is pre-printed on the lower right hand corner of an envelope, the postcode may be written in the boxes.
If addressing a letter from outside Australia, the postcode is recorded before 'Australia'.
Geography[edit]
Australian postcodes are sorting information. They are often linked with one area (e.g. 6160 belongs only to Fremantle, Western Australia). Due to post code rationalisation, they can be quite complex, especially in country areas (e.g. 2570 belongs to twenty-two towns and suburbs around Camden, New South Wales). The south-western Victoria 3221 postcode of the Geelong Mail Centre also includes twenty places around Geelong with very few people. This means that mail for these places is not fully sorted until it gets to Geelong.[citation needed] Some postcodes cover large populations (e.g., postcode 4350 serving some 100,000 people in Toowoomba and the surrounding area), while other postcodes have much smaller populations, even in urban areas. Australian postcodes range from 0200 for the Australian National University (now 2601) to 9944 for Cannonvale, Queensland.
Some towns and suburbs have two postcodes — one for street deliveries and another for post office boxes. For example, a street address in the Sydney suburb of Parramatta would be written like this:
Mr John Smith
99 George Street
PARRAMATTA NSW 2150
But mail sent to a PO Box in Parramatta would be addressed:
Mr John Smith
PO Box 99
PARRAMATTA NSW 2124
Many large businesses, government departments and other institutions receiving high volumes of mail had their own postcode as a Large Volume Receiver (LVR), e.g. the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital has the postcode 4029, the Australian National University had the postcode 0200. More postcode ranges were made available for LVRs in the 1990s. Australia Post has been progressively discontinuing the LVR programme since 2006.[citation needed]

Sometimes near the state and territory borders, Australia Post finds it easier to send mail through a nearby post office that is across the border:

Some of the postcodes above may cover two or more states. For example, postcode 2620 covers both a locality in NSW (Gundaroo) as well as a locality in the ACT (Hume), and postcode 0872 covers a number of localities across WA, SA, NT and QLD.
Three locations (Mingoola[4], Mungindi[5] and Texas[6]) straddle the NSW-Queensland border (so same town name and postcode on both sides).
Jervis Bay Territory, once an exclave of the ACT but now a separate territory, is geographically located on the coast of NSW. It is just south of the towns of Vincentia and Huskisson, with which it shares a postcode. Mail to the Jervis Bay Territory is still addressed to the ACT.
The numbers used to show the state on each radio callsign in Australia are the same number as the first number for postcodes in that state, e.g. 2xx in New South Wales, 3xx in Victoria, etc. Radio callsigns pre-date postcodes in Australia by more than forty years.
External territories[edit]
Australia's external territories are also included in Australia Post's postcode system. While these territories do not belong to any state, they are addressed as such for mail sorting:

Three scientific bases in Antarctica operated by the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions share a postcode with the isolated sub-Antarctic island of Macquarie Island (part of Tasmania):

State and territory capital cities[edit]
Each state's capital city ends with three zeroes, while territorial capital cities end with two zeroes. Capital city postcodes were the lowest postcodes in their state or territory range, before new ranges for LVRs and PO Boxes were made available. The last number can usually be changed from '0' to '1' to get the postcode for General Post Office boxes in any capital city (though Perth now uses a different range of postcodes for its GPO Boxes):

Allocation within states[edit]
While the first number of a postcode usually shows the state or territory, the second number usually shows a region within the state. However, postcodes with the same second number are not always next to each other. As an example, postcodes in the range 2200–2299 are split between the southern suburbs of Sydney and the Central Coast and Lake Macquarie regions of New South Wales.
Postcodes with a second number of '0' or '1' are almost always located within the metropolitan area of the state's capital city. Postcodes with higher second numbers are usually located in rural and regional areas. Common exceptions are where towns were rural when postcodes were first introduced in 1967, but have since been suburbanised and incorporated into metropolitan areas, e.g. Penrith, New South Wales has the postcode 2750 and Petrie, Queensland has the postcode 4502.
Within each region with the same second number, postcodes usually get bigger the further one travels from the state's capital city along major highways and railways. For instance, heading north on the North Coast railway in New South Wales away from Sydney:

Major towns and cities[edit]
Major towns and cities tend to have '0' as the last number or last two numbers, e.g. Rockhampton, Queensland has the postcode 4700 and Ballarat, Victoria has the postcode 3350. There are exceptions; the major town of Ipswich, Queensland has the postcode 4305, while Goodna, a relatively unimportant suburb of Ipswich, is allocated 4300.
Postcode squares[edit]
Australia Post prefers envelopes sold in Australia to have four boxes in the bottom right corner of the front of the envelope. Entering the postcode in these boxes or squares, which Australia Post calls postcode squares, enables Australia Post to use optical character recognition (OCR) software in its mail sorting machines to automatically and more quickly sort mail into postcodes, which also embeds routing information. Postcode squares were introduced in June 1990.[2]
Australia Post says that postcode squares should not be used for machine-addressed mail, or mail going overseas.
Other uses[edit]
Many other organisations now use postcodes. Insurance companies often use postcodes when working out the cost of car and house insurance. The NSW Ministry of Transport uses postcodes to give specific numbers for each bus stop in Greater Sydney. The stop number is five to seven numbers: the first four are the postcode, and the others show the bus stop (sometimes written with a space in between, e.g. '2000 108').
Many companies that produce metropolitan street maps also list the postcodes for each suburb, both in indexes and on the maps themselves. Spatial representation of postcodes is also very popular in defining sales and franchise territories.
Australian Bureau of Statistics, Australian Taxation Office and many other Federal and State government organisations publish a variety of statistics by postcode which extends the use Australia Post four digit code to many business and social planning related activities.
There is an inherent problem with spatial representation of postcodes since areas referenced to a specific postal code tend to change over time, as new postcodes are added or existing ones are split by Australia Post for operational purposes.[7]
Some mail generating software can automatically sort outward mail by postcode before it is generated. This pre-sort of mail into postcode order eliminates the need for it to be sorted manually or using mail sorting machines.
Mechanised sorting[edit]
To improve mechanised sorting, each address now has a sorting number which is printed on the letter as an orange-coloured barcode. This number might be 12 numbers long. This system enables the post office to place items in delivery order.Companies can also use Rapid Addressing Tool(RATS) to print Customer Addressed Barcodes, which are printed above the address.Every Delivery Point in Australia (DPID) has its own number.Barcode Sorter (BCS) machines sort and sequence letters up to C5 size. MARS sequences letters up to C5 articles. Flat multi-level OCR (FMOCR) reads, imprints and sorts C5- to A3-size articles.
