Since it’s bi visibility month do you or any of your followers have book/movie/series recs with bisexual characters? (except for heartstopper I already know that one and I love it) I don’t care about genre tho I am not the biggest fan of pure romance books but if they have great characters I am willing to try. Thank you so much. :)

If my followers have good suggestions, I hope they chime in.

Off the top of my head:

VE Schwab often has some bisexual characters. The ones I’ve read are the Shades of Magic series and the Invisible Life of Addie LaRue.

The two main characters in Silver Nitrate by Silvia Moreno-Garcia are both bisexual.

One of the main side characters in the Timothy Wilde series by Lyndsay Faye is as well.

Also, the main character in Flowerheart by Catherine Bakewell.

I know I’ve read more, but that is what I’m remembering right now. Hopefully there is enough variety for you to find something you would like.

Though Nate is generally a bit gruff, I think he would have a soft spot for Lily as she is so young and he thinks of her as a bit fragile at first. Of course, over time Lily proves him wrong of that notion. He would often be convinced to play games with her and I can see them spending time building a snowman or having a snowball fight on the mountain while the others party.

Nate would be outraged at what Josh has done to Lily and try to hold him accountable for it. I think that maybe Nate would stay in touch with Lily every once in a while and he may be one of the people she writes a letter to years later.

i think fanon has well explored lindsey's complicated feelings of jealousy and desire towards angel, where he wants to be him but also be WITH him, but i think underexplored is his relationship with DARLA, who represents similar desires (a love of "the view," to be desirable, to have control and influence over other people, the power to take what you want), and i think there's a part of him that wants to be angel and WITH darla insofar that it's a hot vampire lady who chooses to save HIM, the most specialest boy, from the unbearableness of his ordinary life, but i also think there's a part of him that wants to BE darla in that he identifies with their shared experiences of having grown up in largely helpless situations but then having clawed their ways to the top through the avenues most readily available to them at the time (sex work, law school), occupations that promise financial independence but are simultaneously dependent on attracting and maintaining clients, so like her he understands the double-edged sword of desirability as both a power and a shackle that vampirism promises to free you from. anyways that's why i think lindsey always has to be the most fuckable person in the grocery store

The answer to this is maybe. I haven't been as motivated to write on here lately, but, I'm trying to find that space again. That said, I want to wrap up 'the Birthday' and 'Lindsey's Big Little Day' at least before jumping back into Playing House. Those two are just very close to being finished.

I was reading something that said Lindsey Buckingham was gonna leave his gf for Stevie Nicks until he found out she was pregnant and was thinking: Did the DJATS writers get inspired by this too? (Show) I don't think so, bc Billy wouldn't leave Camila, Julia or no Julia. There was no obligation, just love. But the show writers tried to make us think otherwise, that Daisy was a saint who Billy would 100% wanna be with, even if she would be terrible to him.

I mean the writers had nothing but contempt for Billy x Camila, so who knows. But Billy didn't know Daisy then yet. I know the show makes it look like he only married Camila bc she was pregnant, but this is not true. They were in a serious relationship, living together, Camila moved to LA with him (a change from the book, but bc in the show she's a photographer, it makes sense that she comes with the band; she has her own career too). Of course, it would have been better had they got engaged before she got pregnant, they could still have used the same "if I get a record deal, will you marry me" line, but then again, we can spend a lot of time talking about how many things could have been better about the show.

Since Isobel has aspirations to become a novelist, I could see her maybe, possibly asking Nate to contribute to a novel (or even just a personal essay) about the events on Blackwood Mountain and I could see him do that after some time has passed maybe. These two could also be passing the time with each other while the others are messing about at the party. Nate isn't really a partier and only goes for Beth. I don't know if Isobel feels similarly but if she does, they could be playing board games or something in the corner and enjoying a more "refined" drink in contrast to the crazy shenangans the others do. I can actually picture them in my mind, sitting on pillows on the floor (possibly with Beth joining in before shit hits the fan) and just laughing away and generally being more grown up about things. In the year later, I could see Isobel maybe approach Nate and asking him how he's been and if he's comfortable being back on the mountain, knowing from Tyler how much he's been beating himself up over it. I can see Nate being real protective over the cousins once he makes it back to the lodge, despite the fact that he's so beaten and nearly frozen to death himself.

The real answer for the two different teams for 8x14 is that it got uploaded to the WGA site by production code and not airing order. Kristen, James, and Molly did 8x15 (production code 814).
