He erected the pillars in the front of the temple, one to the south and one to the north. The one to the south he named Jakin and the one to the north Boaz (Chron 3:15-17). In 2003, I took my first trip to Israel. I visited the Wailing Wall, the only thing left of the original temple built by David’s son, Solomon. I took an underground tour of the temple foundation which allowed us to see the incredibly huge, square boulders that were used to lay the foundation. History states that these boulders were cut off-site and transported to the temple location to avoid loud noises in the temple area. Pillars are designed to provide the foundation to a structure. These towering cylinders provide the height and strength to connect the roof to the lower foundation.

What’s remarkable is the name of the two pillars that stood in front of the temple: Jakin, which means it establishes. And Boaz means in it is strength. Jakin was a priest. Boaz was a business man also known as a “king” in the scriptures. He was also Ruth’s kinsman redeemer whose lineage would be traced all the way to Christ (Mt. 1:5). It is a picture of two people God would use to represent the entrance into God’s presence and the forming of the foundation of Christ’s Church. The Bible says we are both kings and priests, but we also have two separate distinct roles to play in his Body.

Kings and Priests are joining together to bring the presence of God into the place that has been forbidden territory – the workplace. It is only when this partnership cooperates in unity, mutual respect, and affirmation that we see God’s power released. Alone, we cannot do it. Together, we can bring the presence of God into all spheres of society to transform workplaces, cities and nations.

My favorite game in the series are tied up between Black Flag and Syndicate.

Black Flag was considered the last of the ‘Desmond Miles Saga’ for quite some time. The modern day protagonist was YOU, the player. The story is that you, the player, are now working for Abstergo Entertainment, a company that sifts through genetic memories to make historically accurate movies or something like that. The memories that you’re sifting through belong to Sample 17, “one very generous donor, Desmond Miles” to quote the game. You sift through the genetic memories of Edward James Kenway, a pirate born in Wales who now lives in the West Indies.

Throughout the game, Edward’s friends die left and right or simply leave him behind. My favorite, favorite quote of Edward’s is his little bit of dialogue about that.

“For years I've been rushing around, taking whatever I fancied, not giving a tinker's curse for those I hurt. Yet here I am... with riches and reputation, feeling no wiser than when I left home. Yet when I turn around, and look at the course I've run... there's not a man or woman that I love left standing beside me.”

Edward’s story is a tragedy, but, for a while, he gets his happy end. In the book about his adventures (and the beginning on his son, Haytham’s book), Edward eventually moves to London with his daughter (long story and I don’t wanna spoil it too much) and Edward joins the Assassins in London, eventually moving up to become co-Mentor os the Brotherhood with a man named Miko. Edward also meets a woman named Tessa and together they have Haytham. I’ll leave Edward’s story there for now, but the Kenways are probably my favorite lineage in the AC series, so I could talk about just the Kenway family for hours dxgfchvbjn

Syndicate is also a really really good game, despite what the majority of the fanbase says. I really like the game because it has the most canon queer rep (Odyssey doesn’t count bc of that shit that Ubisoft pulled with the ‘Legend of the First Blade’ DLC). In the game, there are three queer character. Jacob Frye, one of the playable characters, is bisexual, Ned Wynert, who is a trans man, and Maxwell Roth, who is a gay man. I also absolutely love the game because you get to follow two different storylines without it feeling like you’re being dragged on with one single character BECAUSE you get to play as both Jacob Frye and Evie Frye, two twin Assassins who are trying to free London from the clutches of the Templar Order.

The twins fall into the ‘polar opposites and always fighting’ trope of twins. Evie is a textbook Assassin, sticking to the shadows and following the Tenets of the Creed to the letter, never letting her emotions compromise the mission (tell that one to Henry). Jacob, however, is the exact opposite. He’s brash and impulsive and he rather go in guns blazing than sneaking through soundlessly. “Escape plan? When no one is left, walk out the front door,” is a quote credited to Jacob, but I don’t know if he actually said that ingame or not-

The modern day protagonist was once again, YOU, the player. But instead of getting to walk around Abstergo and shit, you were an Initiate, a part of the modern Assassin’s Brotherhood. And you didn’t even get to get up and walk, you just got to talk to Bishop and see Shaun and Rebecca go around and do cool stuff. The modern day story kinda stopped being cool around Rogue, but I don’t really care too much about the modern day storyline. I just like going around and stabbing shit as an Assassin in the Animus.

Verona was found one day, as a six year old, wandering through the Emerald Forest. She was dirty with tattered clothes and messy hair, but looked as if she hadn’t been out in the wilderness for too long. Glynda was the one who found her and brought the child in.

Her heritage being plain as day, Glynda, James, and Qrow all tried to decide what to do with the little girl. She was clearly the daughter of Neo and the late Roman, but where was Neo? No one had seen her in years. When all eyes turned to Oscar, he chose to take the girl in until they could find Neopolitan’s whereabouts.

Searching proved fruitless as Neo was nowhere to be found. More unsettling news struck when Verona couldn’t even remember her name or where she came from. She had seemed to have suffered Amnesia and no amount of prodding seemed to bring fourth memories. In her condition and with the search seeming hopeless, Os made the tough decision to raise her and name her ‘Verona Vino’. The name stood on its own, far away from her parents and the lineage they left behind for her.

Verona was a quiet child and took to Oscar like a baby duckling. She followed him around everywhere and was so quiet that it often startled him. There were a couple of years that flew by where it was expected for Os to be accompanied by Verona.

Her abilities first manifested when a Grimm creature knocked a new friend of hers unconscious. A devastating amount of energy released from her as she sent the Grimm flying along with a horrified shriek.

Getting into Beacon, Verona seemed to become the top student in her classes. Feeling the pressure of being the headmaster’s child, she strove for perfection.

Her inner criminal streak popped up often, where she would occasionally sneak out to a party and trash the location or graffiti the school’s walls.

At 18, Verona began regaining some of her memories of her mother. Teachings of what Beacon was to Neo and years of bitterness seeped back into her that was as fresh as if it was never forgotten. Beacon and Vale had a new enemy and her havoc would last two months. RWBY and other teams alike were called in to handle her, though no one could seem to get close to the Esper child. The only one who could stop her was her old friend and longterm crush, Jacin Ironwood. Her rage dissipating and a clear mind coming forth once more, Verona embraced him and gave herself up.

Oscar and Verona sat down after the damage was cleaned up from her outburst and spoke about her parents. Oscar gave her all that he knew and asked for her forgiveness in hiding the truth from her. She does end up forgiving her father, but finds herself restless and in need to search for her missing mother. After her imprisonment for all the damage she caused and being a free woman again, Verona graduates and sets off on a journey to find her mother.

The fight cost her left eye and now she wears an eyepatch and hides it with her hair.

After a year of searching, Verona comes home to regather herself. She plans to leave again soon until Jacin catches her attention and requests permission from Os to court her. The two spend about three months with one another before they become engaged. The wedding is held three months later and not one parent/adult is less than excited/anxious.

Verona is now a professor at Shade Academy, teaching about Remnant history and the importance of it. She is also a language teacher in the summer time.

Students view her as the “fun, cool” Professor as she often disregards rules and isn’t afraid to be straight to her students. She’s Shade Academy’s residential bad ass teacher and that’s how the students like it.

She has taken Jet Black under her wing as both have been labeled as potential “mental terrorists” and are children of ex-criminals. Her patience, sarcasm and kind heart wins him over and he comes to her with problems he can’t share with his parents.

Verona is still on a watch list that her husband is trying very hard to remove her from.

She likes watching storms and catastrophic weather. Dust storms, tornadoes and thunder storms pique an interest in her that isn’t exactly shared with most.

She is incredibly close with her husband, practically growing up alongside him. While they have their opposites, the two are almost never seen without the other and are shown as one of the most supportive  power couples in Remnant.

Verona loves Jet’s food and has been invited over to the Black house for tea and meals. Mercury and Emerald have mixed feelings about her parents but enjoy her overall beyond that.

Verona has a British accent.

Lineage OS is a free and open-source operating system which is made available for Android devices and tablets. As we all know Android OS itself is based on Linux. Lineage OS is, to be honest, a replacement or successor for world-famous aftermarket operating system – Cyanogen Mod. Lineage OS replaced the Cyanogen after the original company i.e., Cyanogen INC. announced that they are discontinuing the development. Since the project still retains the name Cyanogen Mod, the developers are left with no choice instead of changing the name to Lineage OS. Lineage OS was officially launched on December 24th, 2016 along with the source code available on GitHub. In the beginning, Lineage used to publish their custom ROMs with the original Cyanogen Mod logo and stuff, but sooner or later after gaining mass popularity, they made their own logo and started publishing the ROMs with their own logo. As I have been using the Cyanogen Mod from the very beginning of the development, I still would prefer the original Cyanogen Mod over the likes of Lineage OS. Lineage OS is almost all good as Cyanogen Mod, but in my opinion, it lacks a few important features which do make a lot of sense. Cyanogen Mod, which is often referred to as CM is used by many top-tier OEMs like Lenovo and OnePlus. Yes, Cyanogen Mod is the default operating system on many Android Phones. The famous devices shipped with Cyanogen Mod out of the box are OnePlus One and Lenovo ZUK Z1. Both the devices did receive a few updates after the official launch but the operating system was discontinued within the time. Cyanogen Mod is everyone’s favorite because it used to come with the original inbuilt theme engine with over a ten thousand themes available in the Play Store. But the makers of Lineage OS insisted to be quiet and did not respond properly. Yes, you can apply themes in Lineage OS using Substratum. Substratum is good enough with plenty of themes available. But most of the times, most of the heavy themes do not apply properly. Substratum certainly makes your System UI stop working at times. So this is all about the Lineage OS.

Lineage OS versions

So as mentioned earlier, Lineage OS is available from the beginning weeks of January 2017 with the version Lineage OS 13.0. All the previous versions including version 11, version 12 and 12.1 are maintained and developed by Cyanogen itself, but after discontinuing, Lineage entered the show with the version 13 based on Android 6 Marshmallow. Lineage OS 17 Features

As Lineage OS 17 is based on Android 10 and going through the history, Lineage OS very rarely or almost never adds an excessive amount of features compared to the original Android. As mentioned earlier, Lineage OS would be as stock as possible with a minimal amount of features. So, as far as the features are considered, you will be able to see very minimum features with stock applications replaced with Lineage OS applications. The major Lineage OS 17 features include A full-fledged system-wide dark mode. This should be one of the biggest change in the change logs of Lineage OS 17. Smart Reply to all the messaging applications. This feature was introduced with certain stock messaging applications a while ago and now it’s something like a universal thing here. This means this feature can be worked with all the Android third-party messaging applications. For instance, let us consider that you have received a WhatsApp message, the smart reply feature automatically detects the message and display a few replies according to the message received. A revamped sharing menu. This feature was introduced with Android 10 officially and this feature will certainly be available with Lineage OS 17. Quicker access to the settings is one of the features that will make its way to the Lineage OS this time around. WiFi sharing via QR codes. This might be the new feature on Lineage OS 17 but this feature is made available with MIUI 10 for all the MIUI running devices. Different gestures for different actions. As Android 10 comes with a novel gestures for navigation, there are different parts of UI, menus for example which can be opened by sliding crossly. Security updates via Google Play store. Wet, cold and heat in USB warnings. This was recently introduced in Android. As Lineage OS 17 is based on the latest Android 10, this feature will definitely take place in the custom ROM. So the above listed are the new features which are making way into the latest Android 10 based Lineage OS. We don’t know how many of the above-mentioned features will be available in the initial Lineage OS 17 builds, but with the updates, Lineage team will add all the above-mentioned features to the core.

What is Google Apps for Lineage OS 17 Rom

GApps or Google Apps are in general a package of applications which are flushable using a custom recovery. Google Apps are available for various platforms such as ARM, ARM 64, x86 and x86-64. Google Apps are available on the web from Android version 4.4 till the latest Android 10. There are no device-specific GApps or Google Apps but they get differentiated with the architecture and platforms. This is all about GApps or Google Apps.

Install Gapps on Lineage OS 17 Rom

Download the GApps 10.0 file which is available in .zip format from the download section below and once you have downloaded, let us begin with the process. Enter the recovery mode of your Android device. Each Android device has different ways to enter the recovery mode. In general, it is the combination of volume keys and power key together. For more information, search for ‘how to enter recovery on XYZ device’. Replace XYZ with your device name. Once you enter the recovery, select install. Now navigate to the download folder or any folder where you have saved the GApps .zip file. Once you find it, select the file and swipe to flash the GApps folder. The installation with take about two to three minutes and then you will be greeted with flashing completed message. Now hit on the back key twice, until you come back to the main home screen of the recovery. From here, select wipe and then select advanced wipe and tick on Dalvik cache and cache options and swipe to clear the cache. Once done, restart your phone and now you will be able to find the Google Applications including the Google Play Store.
