1. Who was your first ever OC? Do you still “use” them? How have they evolved over time?

first ever oc was one i made when i was like 3-4 with my grandma and i called her nature girl. she was a superhero plant woman fairy thing—very inspired by that one green fairy from neopets as i got older lol. but i don’t use her at all she’s not really my style anymore tho i do still enjoy fairies. i think it’d be interesting to try and give her a form or design—a revamp of some sort, and i tried in like 2015 i think but i don’t feel like trying to find that sketchbook lol. it doesn’t do her justice but maybe i’ll try again one day.

6. Do you have any OCs without stories? Will you ever create one for them?

quite a bit but sorta—mostly bc all of my characters have at least a bare bones general gist about them? however between characters i only draw or characters that were abandoned from old wips with my ex/roleplays that i don’t do anymore i do have some. i usually try to repurpose these ocs; like di, toph, quill, red, hel (all came from the same now defunct universe for example) but there are some that just kind of exist in limbo bc they’re so tied to their stories i can’t figure out what to do with them (an example is aslin rou eliduel; a fae esque dude) or i just can’t think of much to do with them (like utah & gator as an example). soooo i wanna do stuff with all my ideas if i can but i’ve accepted that sometimes it takes time or maybe it won’t happen at all lol.

7. What are your favourite relationships between your OCs? (romantic or platonic!)

i have a LOOOOT of favorite relationships across my wips. amon & hya are the obvious chief otp but here are some of my other favorites:

TCOL: by nature of having a huge cast i have a lot of favorite relationships but clear x forte, lath & ensio (i’m extremely not normal about them), piper & saith (ugh… the unrequited really hits the spot for me idk), erik x dion (THEM!!!!!), cameron x jihi (ouGhHh), and altair x charissa i’m not normal about

carlos & jenna from TLSS are my literal everything do not separate. also the polycule from donut wip of julissa, andres, saul, daisy, and joaquin is 🤌🏾🤌🏾. juls and juvia’s sisterhood makes me emo also

GOD EATER: not normal about naveah & little bear or taj x thei or the four of them in any aspect. also while lucifer x ava / lucifer x kyu is SLIGHT crack i’m still 👀

TGWD: definitely graves and dove but that’s obvious

VDTRT: aside from darren x gabe, dave x estel (crackish but it’s lowkey canon to me), corsel x blackpeak, and raymond x laurent (ESPECIALLY THESE TWO OHHHHHHHH MY GOD) do it for me

dead rites: i mean n x bibi for sure. you’ll notice the pattern that i make wips based on the relationships i’m not normal about 8 times out of 10

LR: di x toph but also trish x nix they are so cute i’m obsessed with them and their little family. nix & toph’s friendship also makes me mad emo, and beki, crispin, rill are chefs kiss (besties)

ALIZATH: kirsi x juven x amarette might become a thing bc i’m kinda 👀👀

PURPLE HAZE: calvin & jake’s friendship means the world to me but also jake x luke i’m not normal about and jenny x ramone are ADORABLE

MOUNT HEREDOSA: i mean. nyoka x verin are boning and that’s the whole story

NAD: the friendship between nyseah, don, and alona makes me emo. the found family is so strong in this wip esp among nyssie and all her kiddos :((((

Serving the losers as...? Luke's face wrinkled up. "Ew, no? Who would even want to eat something like that?" He stood up fully again, turning towards the colosseum. He glanced back at the kid though, tilting his head just a little.

"Anyway, my name's Luke. Everyone...calls me Luke." Except for Asch, who had a whole laundry list of colorful alternatives. "Kyusaku..."

Kind of a strange name, but who was he to judge? "Stay close to me, okay? It can be kind of busy in there. Make sure you don't wander off."

That said, Luke began walking toward the colosseum. Getting closer to it, one could hear the dull roar of a cheering crowd inside. "You know, I'm actually a champion in here."

The way the older teen’s expression changes so quickly has them watching with amusement. People seemed to always go easier on children. Well, most people. Experience said that there were exceptions to that rule. 

“A colosseum??? I have a book where a hero goes to a colosseum!” A gasp as they bounce a slight bit, eyes sparkling, or well one that wasn’t already star-shaped, at the thought of it all. Like in the picture book- something to do with an old country across the sea. “Will there be lions?? Will someone die? What if someone gets decapitated? Have you ever seen someone get decapitated? Do they serve the losers as dinner to the people watching? Can I see someone get eaten?”

A bright smile as they hold their doll a bit closer. This was so much more fun than any book they had read. “My name is Kyusaku but everyone calls me Q! It’s nice to meet you!”

ok ok i've got names. this isn't a list of main characters or even major characters these are just the ones i'm 100% sure won't end up on the cutting room floor. they're erik bàthory (vampire king). jack polidori (famed monster researcher). ko kyu-song (kumiho/everyone's second least favorite guy). luke summers (monster hunting influencer). lia valais (werewolf/monster hunter/professional hypocrite). ligeia nosurname (siren/she's so minor i don't have anything else to really say about her).

I could see Kyubey ending up in Devildom instead of MC due to something like a wish backfiring. Mammon getting attached to Kyubey would be terrible and sad. Kyubey seems like he cares about Mammon but we all know how Kyu really is. Also Simeon's horror of knowing what Kyubey is capable of and he can't even really call it evil. Either he knows what an incubator is or just can tell there's something unsettling about the smiling exchange student.

Poor Mammon gets too attached to the exchange students.

Something funny to think about. Simeon vehemently hating kyubey and literally everyone else (even Luke) liking him. It would give off a Homura situation but with less time loops.

Jin Grandet Route Commentary Part 1

After finishing Licht’s true love route a week ago, I’m now 6 chapters into Jin’s route and I already CANNOT with this man lol. But I look forward to the wild ride he’s going to be taking me on. The interactions are cute and funny so far (though I too want to slap Jin sometimes xD); can’t wait for everything to crumble to pieces.

Some spoilers under the cut

Chapter 1: Jin gets up close and personal with MC, asking if she wants to join him in his bed. She slaps him.

Chapter 3: Jin’s MC’s teacher during her time as Belle. Well actually, she has to learn some things about the kingdom and pass a test from Sariel or else she and Jin get a whipping. If she passes, Sariel let’s the slapping incident go. Who put Jin in charge of teaching? After finding her deep in books in the library, he takes her out to town for a lesson. But man stops everything he’s doing because his eyes suddenly zero in on a “bon-kyu-bon” flower seller. (Bon-kyu-bon being hourglass figure). Just look at this progression of expressions

I was not mishearing things and Jin’s staring at that woman intensely

Man proceeds to say that he’ll die if he doesn’t talk to her when MC tries to stop him. Consider this a social study he says. *Proceeds to hit on two other women after the florist*

Oh yeah, he tries to kiss MC again while in the carriage, but instead of slapping him this time, she pushes him back by grabbing his cheeks

Chapter 4:

Jin: I have a problem. I need a woman’s boobs to be my pillow to sleep at night.

Clavis: I’d prefer a woman’s lap.

Luke to MC: Please don’t listen to them.

- Jin has a weird way of going about it, but he’s a good teacher I guess? Letting MC get some practical experience while dragging her from place to place.

Chapter 5:

- So nice to see more interactions amongst the princes (well Leon’s faction, we know how Cheva’s faction is), even if it’s at Yves’ expense.

MEET THE NEW MUSES OF THE EVERGROWING PACK

ALICIA BRYANT is 31 YEARS OLD and has the same face as LIZZO.  She is outgoing, assertive, and talkative. She likes to make friends but prefers to stay within her own tribe of people, being most comfortable with those who are on her own wavelength. Alicia works as a publicist but loves to volunteer at her hometown’s YMCA.

SHI HANA (Hannah) is 18 YEARS OLD and has the same face as JEON SO-MI.  She is quiet, reserved, and a thinker. She prefers to stay at home rather than go out and make friends. She has a rich inner fantasy life and is a fan of science fiction and fantasy. She is prone to eccentricity. Hannah is a college student trying to please her rich parents by majoring in business instead of her dream to become an author.

JI SANG KYU (Luke) is 19 YEARS OLD and has the same face as CHOI SAN.  He is polite, compassionate, and thoughtful. He goes out of his way to help people, and is sympathetic to the plight of people he has little in common with, sometimes to his own disadvantage. Luke is a college student, but also a freelance artist. 

KOH CHIN HO (Kole) is 20 YEARS OLD and has the same face as PARK SEONGHWA.  He is hard to get to know as he is shy and sensitive. He naturally prefers to be alone or to have just one or two friends, and his tendency to be anxious and afraid makes his nervousness around people more intense. Ohh I know why 6/9 is Luke Day aka ルークの日 (Ruuku no hi) ! For those wondering, 6 is ろく(roku) and 9 is きゅう (kyu) which is a play on words on ルーク (Ruuku). That's so neat!

Hanging up the phone I grabbed my laptop and finish packing my pajamas and the essentials before I made my way to Nuri’s for a Girl’s night, one we both desperately needed after the round of exams we just had.

I plug in my headphones as I decide to make the 15 minute walk rather than calling for a car. Soon my song was interrupted by a call from Steph.

“Hey girl hey!”

“Sup Steph, isn't it really late for you there?”

“Yea I'm at a party it blows though I miss my best friend.”

“How many drinks have you had, you don't go around confessing like that.”

“Oh shut up I don't need to be drunk to tell my best friend I love her.”

“So?”

“3 beers ok!”

Laughing I shifted the phone from one ear to the next one.

“What are you up to right now? I hear cars.”

“I’m walking over to Nuri’s place for a sleepover girls night thing.”

“Gasp you arent replacing me are you. Nuri is threading on thin water Im going to be giving her a call.”

“You’ve call her three times this week.”

“Why are you afraid I might steal your Korean best friend?”

“My Korean best friend and my ultimate best friend being best friends is my worst nightmare.”

Waking up the next morning I spotted Nuri on the floor with her blanket pulled up over her face to block the sun that was streaming in from her window. Rubbing my eyes I look at the clock that hung above her desks to see that it was only 8 in the morning, I saw the laptop pushed to a side with Netflix’s “Are you still watching” displaying on the screen. We must have fell asleep during the movie. I nudge Nuri and all I get is a groan in response and her tightening the blanket around her.

“I’m hungry.”

“There is food in the kitchen, help yourself.”

I shrug and get up to brush my teeth and go on the hunt for food. As I was making both Nuri and I a cup of coffee I hear the door unlock stopping me in my tracks. Soon two girls rounded the corner stepping into the kitchen.

Oh. My. God.

Ara and Yana are literally standing in front of me.

“Hi you must be Nuri’s friend, Im Yana!”

“Hey Kyu.”

Word Kyu words. My mouth started moving but sadly nothing was coming out of my mouth.

A sleepy Nuri appeared mumbling a good morning and walking past me to grab a cup of coffee I had set out for her. She took a slip and looked between us.
