startled by the sudden presence greeting themselves to her, malee gawked a bit before eyes shift towards the racoontouille situation & the scary man it sits on top of. "north american ra-what?!" she asked suddenly as none of this was making any sense to her. did they mean cryptid hunters such as herself? what did this scary man know? what did she know?
"wait what kind of hunter uses a ratcoon?" she asked once more, before trying to follow along with what was being explained to her. "so....this PTA meeting is for the elderly who want botox? how does that even work?" more questions and no answers made her head spin a bit. at the mention of a guide, malee gave her a weird look.
"a guide? for a party??? what context clues am I not catching onto? who are you?!" she exclaimed, as it was clear she was more focused on investigating that she didn't recognize the stranger in front of her. as slightly freaked out as malee was, it only determined her to figure out what the hell everything meant. she had a podcast to run.
"okay first off, who runs this place? and why throw such a big party if this is a PTA meeting? is this some sort of illuminati propaganda? are we the initiation???"
"Procyon lotor! A North American Raccoon." Bhavi laughs as she spins around and greets the shy woman with a sweet smile once more. "As for her date, I'm not entirely sure. I've heard of hunting dogs but I didn't know hunters can have hunting familiars-"
The witch cuts herself off. Whoops!
Keeping secrets or being discreet wasn't exactly Bhavi's forte. Yet this is supposed to be big supernatural gathering; speaking in technical terms here only felt natural. "Okay so...None of the above. A+ for effort though!" Judging by the long list of questions and clear confusion on her face, she probably had no clue what Bhavi is talking about. Or what she just signed up for. "You know PTA meetings? That but like a global scale and more regal and with more elderly but without the botox--"
"I'm sorry. Do you need a guide?" Bhavana asked with the slight tilt of her head. "I'd be happy to lend you a hand. Maybe give some context clues here and there."
Its pointless to give a lecture that would be forgotten by the end of the night. But just look at the poor girl! She's more out of place than she was Khaos night. As a professor and as a girl's girl, Bhavi has to at least try to provide some insight to her inquires.
