If you had to pick one area where Christianity is better than Islam, what would it be?

View on marriage. In Islam there’s too much focus on the contract aspect and allowing the man to be married to multiple women at a time, promoting carnal desires. Marriage is seen as the natural, automatic vocation. In Christianity different vocations are respected - especially celibacy, not just marriage, and follows the concept of two becoming joined together as one. No polygamy, no sex slaves in heaven, no divorce. It’s a sacrament. You are joined until death. I feel more respect and dignity in that.

Hello! So something quite random has entered my brain (as per my usual), but you know how Machine Gun Kelly gave Megan Fox a ring that would hurt her if she took it off??? For whatever reason that thought gave me Terry Silver vibes, specifically older Terry. He's late in life when he finally finds Beloved who loves him fully so how dare she remove that ring, that constant reminder of how much he cares for her and loves her. Do you think Terry would create a piece of jewelry or something of the like for Beloved?

Also, thank you for this blog 🥹💞 I creep on it often, admiring your art (AMAZING 🤌🏻), and the stories you write are superb, capturing Terry and his likeness in all eras.

You know what's best? That I think Terry's just as likely to design something like that for himself as well, purely to match. A ring embedded with tiny thorns from the inside that scratches the wearer and draws blood as one tries to remove it? Sure thing, but he's willing to put his mouth where his money is and commission the exact same one from some coveted jeweler for his own finger, because yeah, he's devoted to the teeth. To the marrow. To the point that wearing a piece of jewelry that is hostile to the wearer upon removal is really nothing at all in terms of dedication for a man willing to do anything --- anything for the ones he's loyal to.

In fact, pain does not exist.

Terry could easily remove the ring and smile even as he bleeds.

And put it back on with just as much ease.
