Key Responsibilities

Maintain UNIX Linux Operating System< li>

Create and maintain environment for running batch jobs associated with daily batch cycle and batch reporting subsystem< li>

Work with LAN Network personnel to ensure compatibility with LAN applications and peripheral hardware to provide end users with reliable and stable working environment< li>

Support and maintain other vendor database software installed on the LAN servers< li>

Perform User Access Management< li>

Apply Patches and Upgrades as necessary. Perform tasks for Backup and Recovery Management including High Availability < li>Perform Implement Security Monitoring and audit to identify any possible security intrusions or breaches.

Experience supporting day today administration functions including user account management and script creation< li>

Install and configure storage arrays and allocate SAN and NAS storage to different OS platforms and or administer ZFS storage pools file system snapshots and clones.< li>

Troubleshoot Hardware Issues Installation and testing of computer peripherals< li>

Designing installing and configuring new existing Linux Unix systems.< li>

Ownership of planning and implement complex Linux Unix changes and work packages.< li>

Linux Unix troubleshooting remediation and fault finding skills.< li>

Offer expert knowledge within the Linux Unix product range to internal external client teams.< li>

Design automation solutions using tools such as Ansible Puppet Scripts to address new requirements to remove manual effort and drive quality.< li>

Manage and enhance existing automations to calibrate and improve ‘checks’ further< li>

Deployment of packages using central management tools< li>

Server builds upgrades deployments security compliance and patching processes< li>

Producing and maintaining support documentation including knowledge sharing.< li>

Follow ITIL Framework for changes incidents problems risks capacity and performance of Linux Unix systems. < li>Qualification Year of Experience

Minimum 10 years of the experience < li>Technical Skills Working Knowledge amp Experience Is Must

RH kernel based Linux OS Administration RHEL CentOS SuSe etc. < li>

IBM AIX < li>Technical certifications

RHCSA RHCE certified< li>

IBM AIX Certification < li>Other Skills Process amp Soft Skills

ITIL V3 Awareness Foundation Certified< li>

Fluent in spoken amp written English< li>

Arabic Language spoken as “Nice to Have” skill < li>

Ability to communicate thoroughly through verbal and written mediums.< li>

Ability to observe ask questions listen actively and give and accept feedback effectively.< li>

Organize and compile information from external and internal sources.< li>

Communicate effectively with both external and internal customers.< li>

Key Responsibilities

· Managing VMWare virtualization UCS ESXi windows platforms

· Virtualization VMWare vSphere Suite vCenter vSphere ESXi HA DR Configurations deployment and configurations vSAN vRealize

· Operation Manager

· Strong troubleshooting Knowledge and performance management for vSphere environment Strong knowledge of x86 server hardware platforms Knowledge of UCS Manager

· Deployment and configuration Windows 2012 2019 Administration and Management Patching WSUS along with strong troubleshooting skills

· Installing configuring managing operating and maintaining Windows server systems Windows Clusters e.g. Windows Server 2003 Windows Server 2008.

· Server management including O.S Installing monitoring troubleshooting virus protection patch deployment resources observation and hardware software upgrade .

· Creating maintaining User and group Accounts Deleting Unused Accounts and Implementing Group and user account policies.

· Creating and managing system security policies and components.

· Implementing and managing different disk configurations and formats e.g. NTFS and RAID. And providing connectivity to both local and network SAN storage.

· Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.

· Providing technical support to users and addressing user issues related to the server system.

· Installing and Configuring DNS FTP DHCP remote access and Terminal Server Services.

· Installing and Configuring Internet Information Services IIS for Web hosting.

· File and Print Server Administration including installation managing users' shares and permissions observing file growth and troubleshooting printing problems .

· Creating implementing and managing backup restore plans and schedules both for tape and disk using either windows or third party software e.g.Netbackup.

· Tuning systems cleanup and resource management.

· Monitoring System status usage and performance.

· Designing planning and executing migration plans and system upgrades.

· Designing planning and executing disaster recovery plans.

· Installing configuring and managing system related software packages and third party packages.

· Generating daily and monthly reports on system status usage and performance.

· General hardware troubleshooting.

· Providing 24 7 on call support to avoid downtime and ensure fast resolution of problems.

· Any other task not mentioned but is directly related to high standard system administration.

Qualification

Year of Experience

· Minimum 3 years of the experience

Technical Skills

Working Knowledge amp experience is must

· Hypervisors VMware ESXi 5.xx to 6.67

· MS Windows Windows Servers 2012 to 2019

Technical certifications

· VCP Certified 6

· MCSE MCITP Certified engineer

Other Skills Process amp Soft Skills

· ITIL V3 Awareness Foundation Certified

· Fluent in spoken amp written English

· Arabic Language spoken as “Nice to Have” skill

· Ability to communicate thoroughly through verbal and written mediums.
