been thinking about something wicked a little too much lately. no harm in romanticizing the ominous dreadful unstoppable force
#ultrakill#v1#v1cked#<- unsure if ive ever officially decided that was the tag id be using but i dont recall anyone else having an idea for it#v1 and something wicked... ouhehehe#in a game like this... with conflict and violence and unceasing demand for a spectacle it is a step back to have v1 find themselves in a-#dark and quiet labyrinth belonging to a force that scares even them#idk. i think about it. its so unlike everything v1 has gone through thus far (though albeit not much as 0-S is in prelude. but i assume-#-there was some killing before they decided to drop down)#maybe it reminds them of their home? where they were built? light humming of wicked passing feels like the buzzing of bright artificial-#-lights that were routinely shined down on them for maintenance#a strange but welcome connection...#and something wicked is very lonely. i dont think it has much of an issue with this seeing as it knows its maze so so well.. im sure it-#-cares for it extensively. but a machine? coming here? i wonder if something wicked has the ability to interact with the terminals at all#terminals do really only talk to machines#but this one seems quite lonely. i dont think itd mind if something wicked happened to take a look#ok im done#gen art

i swear my stepdad is so illogical AND stubborn it hurts
#okay so strap in coz this is a wild ride#tl;dr we have been without heat and warm water for years and i mean literal years#because he refuses to pay off some debt he built up with the company#because he feels unfairly treated (let's not get into this. it absolutely makes no sense) by the company#so instead of doing the logical step of growing some balls and admitting he made a mistake and paying off his shit#he's been looking for a new supplier all over but the deal IS#that he's been doing this with a couple of places before and people are hesitant to even make him any offers#and you'd think that learning about THAT at least now he'd be like. idk willing to just pay off his debt and be done with it#but you'd be WRONG#now he's looking to just have our entire heating system replaced for the teeny tiny price of 25000 bucks#mind you his debt isn't even a THIRD of that#and obviously he can't afford those 25000 bucks#so what's his next step now you might wonder?#well good thing you asked. his next step is going off on ME for not paying towards the new heating he wants#and now that that's not working for him guess what he did next?#that's right. he bought shit expensive 'space heaters' that are pretty much just small little boxes that you plug into an outlet#and he swears up and down that they're going to heat up our house (it's negative degrees outside)#(it's obviously not working)#and genuinely. all i can think of is how much money he shoved into trying to macgyver this house into a house with warm water and heating#and how he blew off ten thousands of bucks he got paid when he retired within the span of two weeks#when this debt could have been paid off ten times over by now#so now you might be thinking. okay tiago. why don't you move out#good question you see. my mom is disabled and reliant on someone who cares for her#something that he can't won't and shouldn't do because the last time he sorta kinda tried she almost died and we had to call an ambulance#she wouldn't eat a thing if i weren't there to cook. the house would fall into disrepair if i wouldn't do maintenance all around#i've set up (functioning) heat in some areas she occupies and i've gotten a boiler going so she at least has warm water#i'm paying off their bills to make sure he doesn't skip on paying any others. i'm buying groceries for them because again they wouldn't get#any for themselves#and finally. i've offered to pay off his debt so that we can finally live like normal fucking people do#and guess what. guess WHAT. he just got mad at me for not adding money to that 25000 bucks pool for that new fancy heating he wants

Crisis! of infinite washing machine filling
#random personal stuff#I didn't realize it was happening until I stepped in a huge puddle on the hallway floor#it flooded the kitchen/dining room where the washer is#turned the corner into the living room and crossed from there down the hall and into the bathroom#or maybe the hot water heater in the bathroom was flooding too and they just met in the middle?#anyway I have a huge mess to clean#maintenance won't come until tomorrow morning#they think the washer's drain is stopped up#a significant patch of my area rug is sopping#and it also got to some fabric boxes of comics on the floor#the bagged and boarded comics are fine thank goodness#but there were a number of books that have been significantly water damaged#all my J S A collections and the Z ero Hour book and The Lost Children and Last Son...ruined#one or two might be salvageable but I'll have to replace most of them#anyway hopefully I can get this sopped up and manage to dry out the poor rug

Sign someone left on our apartment doors that were REMOVED within the hour maintenance just left, with the doors left wide fucking open, I’m actually about to go on a rage spiral
#idgaf if you remove those signs that I found funny af tbh#that’s whatever they were already kind of passive aggressive#but to then leave the unfixed doors wide open#it has been fucking noted and I will be fucking making a call#and when the ask for my apartment number I will be telling them NO because maintenance has shown#they are no longer to be trusted within our living residences#they have stepped on one of my land mines and it’s deliberately doing something rude TO ME#I don’t put up those fucking signs but I FUCKING LIVE HERE AND I DONT WANT MOSQUITOS IN MY HOME

my giffing has become so niche as to cater only to me specifically, and now that gonghee and dansoo are getting serious i basically want to gif every single one of their scenes. i am *begging* someone else to watch this show and gif it with me *falls on my knees and cries* so that i don't end up doing this like technically the interest i have in this show requires 20 other people to be giffing it daily i am barely sating my own appetite.....

#but goddd. also shoutout to The Woman Who Turned Down A Date with a Cherry Farmer by Aimee Nezhukumatathil#idk. something about summer nights turn me into someone who yearns for people who i haven't spoken to in a long time.#when I was fourteen in the summer I remember running around the yard and having dried-out bamboo sword fights like children would#and a decade later I still have the skeletons of bamboo everywhere back in the woods because it's impossible to fully get rid of.#and every summer I step over the brittle bamboo corpses on my way to the blackberries#and I remember the hollow thunks that the bamboo logs made when my friend and I smacked them against the old oak trees.#how apt to remember someone by the one plant that's impossible to kill. you think you've got it down and every year without fail it returns#even when it's gone it's never really gone. What do you do with a fuckton of dry 17-foot-tall bamboo logs once you chop them?#dead corpses that won't decompose. they just haunt the forest floor and crack underfoot to remind you of their presence.#dry and brittle and sunbleached and splintering in the july heat.#we used to burn them but they'd pop and crack and remind me of bonfires and the smell of smoke in his sibling's car instead.#I think the only route is acceptance and maintenance. it'll never go away. you just keep it at bay until you move away from it entirely#you can't uproot it but you can run from it I guess#but what use is that when it even grows along the interstate because people plant it without knowing how determined it is?#anyways. tentative plan is to find something even more invasive to choke it out /j

If you became super rich and could design your own house, but could only add THREE unnecessary/random/expensive home additions (like how people will have bowling alleys, movie theatres, closets with museums of shoes, car display rooms, spa rooms, wine cellars, etc. in their mansions) - what three would you choose?
#I think I would have: an indoor pool (but like heavily customized with a faux weather system so I could get the feeling of swimming in#rain or fog or snow etc.). a very small arcade consisting only of skee-ball and DDR machines. and an old Library Room with authentic#historical furniture/interior design to store old books/tapestries/study room equipment/whatever other antiques I'd collect. It'd be#like some fully intricate movie set or something that would feel completely like stepping into another world/time.#Though I might would trade out the arcade for a roller skating rink.. i DO love skating....#And I wouldve put rock climbing gym because I love indoor rock climbing but.. as I understand it they have to change out the rock things#on the walls every once in a while so that you can have new routes and it doesnt get boring. and I'd rather have an activty room thats like#self sustaining and doesnt require me to hire some person to come switch things around once every month. Otherwise I would#totally do that instead.#I'm also personally not counting ''craft'' type stuff like having a pottery room kiln sort of thing because#that doesn't count as 'unnessecary' to me. since stuff like that would not at all be just a hobby I 'happen to#do sometimes for fun'#but would definitely be a career sort of thing. Like if I had the money for a fully stocked sculpture room and and a sewing room#with a good machine and etc. then I would literally be professionally selling pottery and designing clothing and etc.#so I wouldn't count it as 'just a random side room I dont need' etc.#The same way that if I played tennis professionally or as a very intense hobby that takes up most of my life/time#then I wouldn't count having a tennis court in your house to practice in as 'unncesscarry' etc.#wow that is the worst I have ever spelt that word ghbjh#Un Cess Carry#ALSO would obviously have an underground bunker of some sort with food and emergency supplies which also does not count as unnecessary to m#since it's literally like... survival.. And I thought most health organizations literally reccomend that even#the common person has a small 'go bag' prepared in their house. and like an evacuation plan in case of fire or other things#It WOULD be an unnecessary rich person thing to have a full on undergRound village or something stocked with 9000 guns and#whaetever. but I think just a basic emergency room with basic supplies could still be counted under the 'not unnecessary' requirement.#Like I would say that a sprawling courtyard of flower gardens and fountains and hedge mazes that takes up like a hundred thousand#dollars a year in maintenance would count as one of the three 'unnecessary and expensive' things. But having a small garden in the#back yard with a few planters in a little greenhouse or whatever would not. Oh yeah, I did this yesterday as well. I didn’t post it since the canvas isn’t full, but the design mostly is
This is for that g2 inspired AU thing I talked about…last week was it?
But yeah, I had decided to try my hand at some of the designs of the characters (which are mostly TFA inspired but not entirely), which at that point were pretty much just Optimus and Hoist, but then for whatever reason I never got back to it
But yesterday at work I was attempting to draw this design again on my cardboard sheet because I needed something to draw, and some of my coworkers saw it and really liked it, and so I decided to go back and finish the digital sketch
So yeah, this is that. G2 inspired AU Hoist. Need a better name for that
She’s almost entirely based on this first toy, with her colors coming from the second because of my different colors rule
Admittedly the toy isn’t at tow truck as I want, and I need to figure out how her hook and such fits into her robot mode, but it’s a start at least
I’m also aware her chest plate is a bit too plain, and it needs some sprucing up. I kind of made the design while not thinking about the actual color scheme she was going to have
Speaking of colors, I do like these colors on her. I don’t know if they fit her personality, but I think they look nice on her. Took some tweaking to get it right though
But yeah, this is supposed to be her like, initial design, so I’ll work on it as I go I suppose
Oh yeah, and I also made an alternate color version of her with the original green and orange colors
I’m still sticking with the other colors, but I just did this for fun
Yeah I just felt like sharing this. Though unfortunately I don’t know when I’ll have the full canvas done because other than Optimus and Megatron, I have literally no clue who else to put here, Autobot or Decepticon
#oh yeah she does still have her face mask#she’s just not wearing it at the moment#her personality’s also still being friendly and jovial#I might take out the fact that she’s technically not qualified as the main medic#maybe she can keep it in some way as saying she used to just be a maintenance bot#actually no I think I can make it work#she isn’t qualified but there isn’t any other medic so she has to step up#she’s also Optimus’ new bestie he goes to when he’s overwhelmed with being a leader#she’s chill with it#transformers#transformers au#transformers toys#tf hoist#my art#my designs

Trying to update my website after not touching it in almost 10 years and... wow, this is frustrating. I forgot with all the windows updates in that time, my way of writing the pages got overwritten by a different format, so the files were changed and I have to inspect element on the html version of the file so I can save it as a txt file again but then I have a LOT of cleanup to fix before I can even make new pages *facepalm*
#it's all the extra steps that kept me from updating everything to begin with#website maintenance#yeah i'm sure there are other ways to do this but i don't know if they're supported by my setup#nor do i know t hem because i taught myself coding off geocities

literally i got a tarantula as my impulse pet store worker pet bc i wanted ferrets and rabbits and a couple different lizards and a ball python and hell yeah id set up a fish tank too and a couple parakeets and a cockatiel and a million shelter cats but what i have energy and physical ability and money to care for is. a tarantula ✅
#even the low maintenance-er lizards are too much for me being realistic...................#even the frogs are too high maintenance for me and frogs are like a step up from ranchies
