COMPLETED! It doesn't look much different than my last update lol... But trust me, work's been put in 😊 This is my rendition of Victor Hugo's "The Man Who Laughs". As I mentioned in my first post for this painting, it was a story I had originally intended to produce as a feature-length movie. Seria possível caber tantas pessoas num só ser?

Mesmo que existam tantas pessoas assim, elas sempre estão meio que desligadas na maior parte do tempo, só uma reina naquele momento.

A alegria vive só, não dá brechas à tristeza.

O amor vive só, não dá espaço ao ódio.

Não quer dizer que o alegre e o amante não sofram ou odeiem.

Mas no momento que o primeiro aparece, o segundo vai embora.

"Mas, não há como se sentir amado e feliz?" Quem é feliz não odeia, portanto o amado é o feliz, afinal, não conheço um odiador feliz ou um amado triste.

"Mas, acho que existem sim, tanto os que são felizes odiando e os que são tristes amando!" Nesse caso, é uma questão lógica de escolha: se está buscando a felicidade e não a encontra no amor, planeja-se a vingança, fruto do ódio, e se finge estar feliz; se está buscando o amor em um lugar errado, faz-se triste e demonstra isso aos outros, mas não encontrou o amor, por isso de veras está triste.

"Mas, então as pessoas sempre estão errando quando dizem isso?" Claro. Há dizia o poeta: "Errar é humano. Persistir no erro, é burrice".

Por hoje chega, não consigo mais escrever, apesar de não conseguir dormir.
