Edge head-cannon no.1

Edge eats star-bits. I head-cannon that she has a bit of a secret sweet-tooth when it comes to hard-candies or anything lightly sweet like honey or hot cocoa. Of course because Edge is a known grumpy-ass who doesn't like showing any weakness out of paranoia she doesn't like to admit this, that and I think that eating the crunchy star-food intended for the spark companions does warrant a few weird looks.

ya know in a sense all the rpg villains are pretty much outsiders

prepare for a bit of long reading lol

first things first, these guys are space beings. well idk if the x nauts are really from the moon but they're certainly not from the mushroom kingdom. the shroobs are aliens ofc. now the smithy gang are harder to pinpoint on where they came from other than falling from the sky. the two rabbids villains, same thing, associated with space and not from the mushroom kingdom at all.

now these two goobers, they're from the beanbean kingdom. but some things set them apart from other bean people. cackletta is part bat. (why tho? i personally theorize that she experimented on herself while in woohoo hooniversity). as for fawful, he's got the swirly glasses and always smiling and has a unique way of talking.

orb time. idk how accurate this is but i heard that the dark star was supposedly a rebellious star sprite and honestly i can believe that. rebels are viewed as outsiders right?

hi batman. antasma was a just normal bat but what's a bat doing among pillow people? interestingly he does have a pillow form but i like to think he gained it after consuming nightmares.

bleck and his silly gang, not from mushroom kingdom but they do drag the main cast into the plot. same with the shadow queen. very distinct designs

olly is probably the only one who was actually born in the mushroom kingdom, however he was created on a lone island way out in the great sea. pretty isolating isn't it? on top of the fact that he was the only origami person at the time (before he folded olivia and created the legion of stationery). i do wonder what "don't involve the mario universe at all" means...does it mean mario himself isn't involved with the creation of olly?

and finally the brothership final boss, i'm not gonna show a pic in case someone comes across this post not wanting to be spoiled. i'll try to be as vague as possible but i can say that this boss is certainly something. something unexpected.
