Not drawing related, but I wanted to share that I started writing a new novel manuscript on my Christmas break. I've written 25k words in just 2,5 weeks. It's more than what I wrote altogether last year. Would be cool to finish a manuscript this year! It'd be my second :o

ok so my house of leaves x saw au. at first i was just thinking about dumping current wade in a fucked up building as a mission-gone-wrong type thing, but now i'm thinking it could be a modified stryker/francis experiment. so origins wade is taken and put in a series of saw traps in a house that does not make any logical sense--since this takes place in the 70s, superpowers of any kind are not that well known, so magic is involved but wade doesn't know it. so there's the psychological aspect of it in the form of the "sentient" house, and the physical torture of the saw traps which i'm thinking would parallel francis's torture methods

eventually logan finds him like he did in origins, but in a different context and after his mutation into deadpool (not weapon xi) has been awakened. then they get together because logan is the only thing keeping wade sane after all of that

in a world where soulmates exist. soulmates have interconnected minds, but only on particular occasions.

franco was there, sitting with a box of sushi in hands. his soulmate has been quiet for a while. franco thinks it's because his soulmate has been working on songs? franco didn't really understand.

but when he took a bite of the sushi — some sort of roll? he heard his friend call it a california roll —, his brain went haywire with disgust. he immediately choked it down, eyes widening slightly.

“what the fuck, mate?” he hissed, dropping the little sticks — chopsticks, his mind provided the information —, before taking a sip of water.

“that shit tastes awful,” his soulmate pointed out inside his head, voice laced with distaste. “worse than whatever thing you drink all the time.”

“man, you're literally british,” franco grumbled, rubbing a hand through his forehead, mentally cursing his soulmate for insulting his mate. “and you eat expired food. i've tasted it. learn how to cook.”

“at least i'm not out here eating raw fish with... whatever it is,” the voice added, and franco could hear the confusion in the next sentence. “i don't understand enough spanish, but i'm pretty damn sure you were insulting me there.”

“the day i meet you in person, i'll turn around and leave,” franco muttered, but it lacked heat behind it.

“sure. don't ever eat sushi again, please.”
