i started the marvelous mrs maisel because a while ago my twitter timeline was full of this scene where this man says to this woman ��you are more important than god” so i started it thinking that it would be a nice romcom where this man and that woman would came together at one point. but, unfortunately, i had 0 idea that these two people had only 1 hour and 30 minutes of screentime throughout the whole series that has 5 seasons, 44 episodes and where every episode is 45+ minutes long…. they had so much chemistry together it drove me nuts, they needed to be together and i was there hoping that they would be the endgame

when i finished the whole series i couldn’t believe how it ended between the two of them that i had to take a 45 minute walk and eat chinese food to calm myself

I'm really happy that fanfiction exists, because when you watch a show and hate the main couple that has chemistry with another, you can just look it up.

Like, I watched The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and I hated the husband the whole time. he cheated on her, didn't tell her the truth about their apartment being his father's, his job was given by his dad, but he acted like he worked his entire life for it, acted jealous not only of her relationships but her job, and the show just wanted to push them together even though there were a better choices for her.

Which is a long way of saying that I shipped Lenny and Midge.
