LLM is one specific type of AI that refers to text-based models like ChatGPT. DALL-E/midourney/stable diffusion are also "type 2 AI". those are diffusion models. there are even more types of AI models out there. GANs for example were used for art before diffusion models became a thing. and there are many more types of models I couldn't even name.

if you want to avoid the term AI, try saying "machine learning" or "neural network" (while older attempts at machine learning used technologies other than neural nets, it's not likely we'll be foregoing them anytime soon. all modern AI products are based on them to my knowledge.)
