So I tried to smite my friends by spawning Herobrine what do you guys think of my shrine

i remember back in elementary school, me and my friends would play minecraft pocket edition afterschool and one of my classmates had me completely convinced he was hit the target (stampy cats archnemesis from stampys lovely world). and he told me to “look out for a hit the target skin next time you play minecraft” so every time i played minecraft on my own i was horrified that i would log in and my base was going to be griefed and completely destroyed. it kept me up for weeks and i kept crying about it.

I was actual inspired to do this because of @mogswamp Christmas hide and seek build video. That candy cane lumber mill was so cool. Although for mine only the outside is good looking. The inside. Not so much lol.

Guh and I have things to do tomorrow (technically today) but it's okay I can just draw them later (surely I won't forget to amidst the other tasks on my plate)

Thinking about that time when i was at a holiday inn and was playing minecraft on my ipad on the public wifi. Back then you could just join a world willy nilly, you didn't need to be invited or nothing and i had just learned how to install a custom skin. So i changed by name to herobrine, got a herobrine skin a started to join random worlds. One world there was someone with a stereotypical gamer girl skin and i saw them freeze when i joined, i assume scared of the "herobrine Has Joined the World" text. They turned around and started frantically flying away from me because it was creative mode but it was also super flat so they couldn't hide anywhere. I had also just learned how to summon lighting so i did that to sell the flair. They boarded themselves up with oak planks to try and hide but i just broke them until i got bored and logged out. I think about them going back to school after vacation and telling all their friends that they saw herobrine in real life and none of their friends believing them. i wonder how long they believed they had met herobrine in real life.

Okay so, the minecraft movie trailer was depressing but it really got me thinking about how i used to enjoy minecraft.

And yeah, i played on pc a lot, loved playing Minecraft Murder and Survival Games and fucking around with friends. But the best times i ever had playing minecraft were playing pocket edition with my sister.

We both sucked, but it was fun! Back when we played, there were only finite worlds, and building the nether reactor was fun but dismantling the structure was a PAIN. And we made whole villages together and tamed dogs and I learned how to build a mob farm and there was never any end goal but to have fun.

We last played when we were both 13 or so, about 10 years ago. But when i called her up today asking if she wanted to play minecraft pocket edition with me, she immediately said yes. She bought the game again for $6.99 and I read up on how to play multiplayer without being on the same WiFi network and.

We both suck! I almost killed her accidentally because I couldn’t figure out the controls before i found the switch to turn off friendly fire, the world is endless and we got lost, and apparently there’s something called “pillagers” now, and we died. So. Many. Times. But it was fun, and tomorrow we’re gonna play again (after I set some settings to make things a bit easier).
