#Minecraft singleplayer

Im playing Minecraft and here's what i got so far...

Spawned in a dark oak forest, got 1 diamond, found an amethyst geode, many lush caves, died to an enderman cuz i thought you could punch them without them attacking you (They do). I found a trail ruins, a village, found an outpost where i found two allays, tamed a horse but dont have a saddle, and yeah. have some doodles of what else i did and my starter base!

I had a brain blank right till i right-clicked, dont blame me.

Here's my new skin!

and i named the Allay's Joey McDuffin (my brother came up with McDuffin) and Elizabeth ChickenTender (She's with the chickens).

And here's my starter base

Oh right, I also got a dog, and found a ruined nether portal, it had a gold pickaxe, sword, and chestplate.

my Minecraft survival world is 365 in-game days old. So happy new year to the world, and here's some screenshots. From a little rat who went from a little hobbit hole in a hill, to one that's building a village. And of course their very own little sewer system

psst, the mill is from a youtube tutorial!! it's one of the first things I build and I didn't know how to build as well back then!! Shoutout to WalkTheWaffle on Youtube for that design :D the rest was build by me though :P

800 blocks straight strip mining immediately after getting fortune 3, and leaving with 36 is, well I've had better luck but can't complain with the luck this world has repeatedly given me

its been a hot minute since i updated yall on my singleplayer world, so heres a small summary of events from the last two days:

> raided an ancient city and got 2½ stacks of diamonds + 80 levels just from clearing out all the sculk

> in the world's wildest series of coincidences-- went looking for the nearest stronghold on a lark, found it in the desert i already have a nether portal out to, dug down to find myself literally on top of it, broke in and found myself across the fucking hall from the portal room

> went to the End, killed the dragon, experienced the end poem in its entirety all for the FIRST TIME

> went shulker hunting and my second end city had a ship 👀👀👀

so uh. needless to say, im having fun

something out of character for this blog-

i know I'm supposed to be like a poetry blog or whatever but i do like video games and media a lot (highlighted by my extensive posts about class of 09, NANA, and amphibia) and today I'd like to talk about Minecraft --- a game I've been playing for almost 9 years (i think, i started playing pre aquatic update) and one that is my entire childhood.

I feel like it's the right time to talk about it specially because everyone's minecraft phase is coming back and theres a new movie and all

but I'd like to talk about the horror aspect of Minecraft

not Herobrine, or the null, nor entity 303 not the creepypastas and tales that most kids who've grown up on this game are subconsciously scared of but will NEVER admit----

I'd like to talk about minecraft as a horror game.

I play bedrock so this is amplified by the sheer loneliness and lack of music and the glitches but

every time I've played this game even when multiplayer I've just felt this eerie feeling of being watched---its irrational and maybe its because i don't get enough stimulation specially since i play peaceful most times as i am a builder and I'd like for my builds to stay intact.

but lately, it's like I'm playing the older versions, foggy, glitchy, and dark.

Obviously it's just glitches and bugs any game would have that but the sheer feeling of being watched is there even when you aren't alone and you have company with you.

and I've seen more people talk about this It's not new at all

maybe its a sense of nostalgia the older days of herobrine and all where you used to be scared of natural generation creating a cross

the fear is coming back and every time you're alone in this world you have you cant even listen to cave noises without fearing the unknown

its darker and its scarier

i dont know why

It's like this child inside me is still scared of the dark

do you feel it too when you play alone?

Hello, welcome to my blog. I had another one, @carrionlivingold, but it was a side blog. I wanted to give my world a dedicated blog of it's own, so I started this one.

I also started a new world for this blog. I wasn't too far into the old one, so it wasn't a big deal.

I'll be taking screenshots, documenting my Minecraft journey, and writing little bits of lore for my world. I'd be happy to have you join me!

A friend of mine asked how many hours I had in my current Minecraft world. I couldn’t remember precisely, but I knew for a fact that the number had an 8 in it, so I gave them an estimate of over 8 days but told them that I’d get back to them after actually checking.

Turns out I was way off.

28 days.

I have over 28 days worth of playtime in one world.

I’ve had that world for less than a year and a half. I double checked the file to make sure I was right about the year and I have the anniversary date marked in my phone.

I have played an entire February’s worth of Minecraft, plus an extra 6 hours in less than a year and a half.

On. One. World.

I know for a fact I spent a lot of time last October designing shit for this world in a creative world.

I may play a bit of Minecraft sometimes

Beat the ender dragon in my vanilla singleplayer minecraft world! I have alot more stuff I want to do in this world, so much that it might keep me busy for a while. I wanna build big cities that connect with railways. I wanna build alot of stuff in this world and I wanna keep it going for a while.

got the base and block palette for this like six+ months ago, meant to be a sniffer area but my sniffs snort somewhere else. worked on it for like 4 hours straight today (instead of working on my tower or my resin farm) not sure what to do with this but it is done

A vein of nine diamonds (maybe technically veins of 2 + 7), less than ten blocks away from a vein of four

Good start to a hardcore world lol, with the god Apple, and 4 diamonds from structures before ever mining low enough for them

Only like 4 or 5 hours in (most was spent looting the ridiculous number of desert temples that generated)
