For just $40.00 I love this Victorian era celluloid covered wood box. It has a mirror inside on the underside of the top lid. The sides are blue floral paper covered. The top curving down the front is a gorgeous celluloid Portrait picture of a young woman. The box is hinged and has a clasp. Hinges and clasp work great. The wood on the inside is bare. It sits on 2 long curved feet on each side that are also paper covered. I believe this was a Victorian / Edwardian collar box. It is far from perfect. The condition is documented in the pictures. The main issue is the chipping and looseness of the celluloid portrait. It needs some TLC and a bit of glue.. The mirror is in surprisingly good condition! I leave that to you, as you may love it just the way it is! I personally, love the chippy shabby look of this box. It is priced accordingly for the condition. Measures: 7" x 6 1/2" x 4" tall. Inside measures: 6 1/2 x 4 1/2". Bottom is 1 1/4" depth and top lid has a 1 1/2" depth Please see all pictures as they are a part of the description. Please read all measurements as the pictures can be deceiving in relation to size. Rocks, fake fruit, candles, books, shells or any other photo props are not included.

For just $25.00 Victorian Era Silhouette reverse painted jewelry box or keepsake box. The silhouette depicts a courting couple with a man wooing his intended with flowers. Simply Beautiful! Inside the box is gold and bottom inside of box is under a piece of glass also. Mirrored inside lid, however the mirror has some age cloudiness. Beautiful intricate wood edge work all the way around the box. Small pearl like knob for opening the lid. Lid hinges are in good shape and work great. Perfect Victorian item for dresser or vanity! Some light age related patina but overall wonderful condition! Box measures 10" by 8" and is 2 3/8" high.
