Kelpies, gorgeous but malevolent water spirits:

First off:

I swear, STOP GIVING KELPIE SHARP TEETH. THEY DONT EAT YOU, THEY DROWN U AND TAKE UR SOUL.

Kelpies take the form of horses on land, and in the water as well. But on land they are gorgeous and majestic, as well as looking like a real horse. But in the water, their body changes. It starts to resemble the water that surrounds it, its body changes making it look like it’s melting. It’s mane and tail change from long hair to long, wet, kelp. Its eyes are either pitch black or piercing white. Chains hang from its head and neck from the people that have tried and failed to ride the creature. Some may even have royal cloth draped across their back from royalty who have fallen to malevolent spirit. A kelpie always resembles the horse you love most, let’s say you love Friesians, if you saw a kelpie it would be the most gorgeous friesian you have ever seen. A kelpie is always an adult.

Once you get on its back, it will gallop back to its body of water and drown you. You will not escape once your skin touches the water.

But, if you have a kelpie nearby you may be able to befriend it with treat and other foods. It’s a gamble if u ever try to ride it, but for some you may make a valuable friend. Do not feed it sugar cubes, they will get sick. I recommend tuna, lettuce, cow, or carrots. Brushing their mane and tail also helps with bonding! I recommend using wash clothes if you try to clean their coats, curry combs may hurt the sensitive skin if you are not careful enough. They also love when you French braid their tails! It makes them feel like you actually care for them!
