Modern AU loves music from the ’40s and ’50s, something he picked up from his grandfather. He secretly would love to try swing dancing, but he doesn’t have a partner, and he doesn’t know if he could ever admit that he wants it. Sometimes, he’ll play Frank Sinatra in the background while working on paperwork he definitely wasn’t supposed to bring home. 💯 HUNDRED POINTS SYMBOL — share three random facts about your oc that others may not know. He knows sign language 2. He is allergic to pecans. 3. His backup plan for life was to become a lecturer or work at a military museum.

💤 SLEEPING SIGN — is your oc a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? how are their sleeping habits? He is an incredibly light sleeper. This is from his time in the military and the constant vigilance he had to practice. After several traumatic events, sleep became even more elusive. When it came to his lyrium withdrawal, sleep was impossible.

🔱 TRIDENT EMBLEM — can your oc swim? do they enjoy swimming? I don’t see a reason for canon Cullen to swim. I don’t know how common swimming is in the DA universe. I would venture to say no. As for Moderu AU, yes. He swam when he was a child, and the military made sure he not only swam but was good at it for rescue missions. He doesn’t mind swimming, but he doesn’t swim often.

🔺 RED TRIANGLE POINTED UP — does your oc know how to use any weapons? For canon and modern au: what weapon doesn’t he know? I don’t see him wielding a battle axe in canon, and he would use a staff as a blunt weapon, but overall, he’s trained in everything. Modern Au was in special forces so he would be the same.

🔶 LARGE ORANGE DIAMOND — does your oc know cpr? do they have any other medical expertise? Canon Au focuses mostly on potions for health. However, he does know how to cleanse and bandage wounds. He can do stitches, but he’s not the greatest at it. It’s serviceable. Modern AU was required to take a first aid class in the military and know the basics, especially wound care.

🚫 PROHIBITED — does your oc drink/smoke? do they do it regularly, or is it more on occasion or for special events? Canon Cullen doesn’t smoke, but he does drink. Modern and canon will sometimes have a nightcap before bed, hoping it will help him sleep, but it seldom does. Modern Au Cullen smoked a bit in the military, but he cut the habit when he left. Both drink sometimes, with Modern Au Cullen drinking slightly more often than canon.
