favorite local used bookstore closed down today (owner has been running it a long time and is Simply Tired)

I spent an hour going through the music section and purchased 29 CDs for about $36, including several box sets

here are the ones for me - almost all early 2000s electronic, half individual artists, half compilations

photo quality is terrible so lmk if you'd like to see any up close! mostly I am just so so so pleased

i think also in addition to funk people who are into electronic stuff should listen to Trip Hop as a genre to support black musicians in addition. Just off the top of my head, Morcheeba, Faithless, and Massive Attack all have at least one black member and fuse the genres of Hip Hop and Electronica together effortlessly.
