Now I've touched back on a few HCs were ultimately, this thing, this concept of a nebulous, all controlling power happens to be Caelus's particular bane. In this post I'd like to indulge in the details as to why it even has him cursing fate in all of it's holy/unholy essence. In short? It's the incredibly talented, incredibly dangerous, and incredibly determined people it introduced under its fold that never fails to piss him off. As a way to serve as the metaphorical lego, it happened to be the 'force' that helped him pop back into this universe for hidden reasons! Of course it has to situate in their hands and be out of his, where those circumstances belong.

To say he doesn't believe in it would be a case of ignorance. Within Caelus's eyes, it is a force that's recognized, the concrete powers of divination, foresight and other means to capture those possibilities that are tempered by personality, the current situation, time and place serving as the most dangerous form of 'guesses.' In his mind however, this is exactly what throws that idea of free will clear out the window for him.

'Fate' in this context just happens to be a lovely way to control. To make those who wish to exert that control, every and each person having their particular line of reasoning. This in tune makes nearly the worst type of individuals to get involved with all the same. Now this Trailblazer is someone who has an appreciation for planning, but certainly doesn't hold the highest tolerance of those who plan on this level of scale.

It ultimately belittles the weight of experience, what he, as someone who adores the methods of both of an adventuring lifestyle and the way of the Trailblaze. How can such events be appreciated wholly if the guide of 'cheat codes' remain right upon the desk? On top of that, any form of expression through such a journey gets pigeonholed into such matters. So it leads to his own sense of 'rebellion' upon the matter, to ensure the instant at hand, the shared moment ripples in a way that leaves an influence beyond any grand calculations.
