Introduction: Achieving optimal indoor air quality and comfort requires efficient air circulation and ventilation. Multi-directional ceiling vents are an essential component of any HVAC system, providing customizable airflow distribution throughout your space. Vic Air Supplies specializes in offering high-quality multi-directional ceiling vents designed to enhance airflow and improve indoor comfort. In this blog post, we'll delve into the benefits of multi-directional ceiling vents and why Vic Air Supplies is the preferred choice for homeowners seeking superior ventilation solutions.
The Benefits of Multi-Directional Ceiling Vents:

Multi-directional ceiling vents offer several advantages for homeowners looking to optimize their HVAC system and indoor environment. Here are some key benefits of incorporating multi-directional ceiling vents into your home:
Customizable Airflow: Multi-directional ceiling vents feature adjustable louvers or diffusers that allow you to control the direction and volume of airflow in each room. This customization capability enables you to tailor the airflow to your specific comfort preferences and needs, ensuring optimal ventilation throughout your space.
Improved Air Distribution: Traditional ceiling vents often provide limited airflow direction, leading to uneven temperature distribution and hot or cold spots in your home. Multi-directional ceiling vents address this issue by allowing you to direct airflow precisely where it's needed, ensuring consistent comfort levels and eliminating temperature fluctuations.
Enhanced Energy Efficiency: By effectively distributing conditioned air throughout your space, multi-directional ceiling vents help improve the overall efficiency of your HVAC system. Proper airflow management reduces the workload on your heating and cooling equipment, resulting in lower energy consumption and utility bills.
Quieter Operation: Multi-directional ceiling vents with adjustable louvers or dampers help minimize noise from the HVAC system by directing airflow away from occupied areas or reducing air velocity. This quieter operation creates a more peaceful and comfortable indoor environment, free from distracting air noise.

Apple faces criminal sanctions for defying App Store antitrust order

I'm on a 20+ city book tour for my new novel PICKS AND SHOVELS. Catch me at NEW ZEALAND'S UNITY BOOKS in AUCKLAND TODAY (May 2), and in WELLINGTON TOMORROW (May 3). More tour dates (Pittsburgh, PDX, London, Manchester) here.
Epic, makers of the wildly popular Fortnite video-game, have waged a one-company war against the "app tax" – the 15-30% rake that the mobile duopoly of Apple/Google take out of every penny we spend inside of apps.
Epic's own digital practices are hardly spotless: just this year, the company was caught cheating players – many of them children – with deceptive practices and had to refund over $72m:
https://www.ftc.gov/enforcement/refunds/fortnite-refunds
But in this fight, Epic is on the side of the angels. The 30% that Apple/Google sucks out of the mobile economy is a brutal tax, and not just on app makers. Patreon performers recently raised a stink when the company announced that it would be clawing back 30% of the money pledged by their supporters – that 30% surcharge is passed straight through to Apple/Google:
https://www.theverge.com/2024/8/12/24218629/patreon-membership-ios-30-percent-apple-tax
From independent news outlets to crafters selling their work out of small storefronts, all the way up to massive entertainment services like Disney Plus and Fortnite, the mobile cartel takes 30% out of every dollar, a racket they maintain with onerous rules that ban apps from using their own payment processors, or even from encouraging users to click a link that brings them to a web-based payment screen.
30% is a gigantic markup on payment processing. It's ten times the going rate for payments in the USA, already one of the most expensive places in the world to transfer money from one party to another. In the EU, payment processing typically runs 1%…or less.
But crafters, Patreon podcasters and small-town newspapers are in no position to fight Google and Apple. Instead, we get Epic, a multi-billion-dollar company that's gone to the mattresses to fight these multi-trillion-dollar companies. Personally, I dote on billionaire-on-trillionaire violence.
Epic was wildly successful. It mopped up the floor with Google, securing an especially punitive award from a judge who was furious that Google had destroyed evidence:
https://pluralistic.net/2023/12/12/im-feeling-lucky/#hugger-mugger
Epic also won against Apple, though not as thoroughly as it had with Google, because Apple had the commonsense not to get up to the kind of shenanigans that make federal judges very, very mad. In the Google case, the court found that Google had acted as a monopolist and ordered it to open up the payment system in Google Play, a direct blow to the Android app tax.
In the Apple case, the judge did not find that Google had acted as a monopolist, but did rule that the App Store's payment processing racket violated the law, and ordered Apple to end its own app tax:
https://techcrunch.com/2025/04/30/epic-games-just-scored-a-major-win-against-apple/
That's where things get gnarly. Apple is addicted to corrupt sources of income – like the tens of billions it illegally receives every year in bribes from Google make it the default search:
https://apnews.com/article/google-antitrust-search-engine-verdict-apple-319a61f20fb11510097845a30abaefd8
And it really, really loves the app tax. When the EU ordered Apple to allow third-party app stores (as a way of killing the app tax), the company cooked up a malicious compliance plan that was comically corrupt:
https://pluralistic.net/2024/02/06/spoil-the-bunch/#dma
So, the mere fact that a federal judge had ordered Apple to open up its app store to competing payment processors was not going convince Apple to actually do it. Instead, Apple cooked up a set of rules for third-party payment processing that would make it more costly to use someone else's payments, piling up a mountain of junk fees and using scare screens and other deceptive warnings to discourage users from making payments through a rival system:
https://www.thebignewsletter.com/p/judge-rules-apple-executive-lied
That's the kind of thing that is apt to make a federal judge angry – and, as noted, angry federal judges can make life very hard for tech monopolists, a lesson Google learned when it destroyed key evidence in its Epic case. But Apple didn't just flout the court order – they lied about it to cover it up, and Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers is furious. She held that Alex Roman, Apple's Vice-President of Finance, "outright lied under oath," and she has raised the possibility of criminal contempt penalties for Apple:
https://regmedia.co.uk/2025/05/01/pacer_epic_vs_apple_injunction_judgement.pdf
The judge further wrote:
This is an injunction, not a negotiation. There are no do-overs once a party willfully disregards a court order. Time is of the essence. The Court will not tolerate further delays. As previously ordered, Apple will not impede competition. The Court enjoins Apple from implementing its new anticompetitive acts to avoid compliance with the Injunction. Effective immediately Apple will no longer impede developers’ ability to communicate with users nor will they levy or impose a new commission on off-app purchases
In other words, any junk fees, any impediments to opening up third party payments, will be switfly and harshly dealt with. As of right now developers can start to build third-party payments into their apps and Apple cannot block them. It's the end of the app tax, a source of about $100b/year for Apple:
https://www.theregister.com/2025/05/01/apple_epic_lies_possible_crime/
The world is on fire and everything is terrible, but we are also living through the most consequential season in the history of the war on corporate tech power. Google has been convicted three times of being a monopolist and is almost certainly going to have to sell off Chrome, most of its ad-tech stack, and possibly Android. Meta just put up a pathetic showing in an equally serious antitrust case that could see it forced to sell off Instagram and Whatsapp:
https://pluralistic.net/2025/04/11/it-is-better-to-buy/#than-to-compete
Countries around the world have passed big, sweeping, muscular antitrust laws specifically aimed at smashing corporate tech power, like the EU's Digital Markets Act and Digital Services Act:
https://www.eff.org/pages/adoption-dsadma-notre-analyse
Most importantly, all of this is happening from the bottom up. There is no dark money campaign to fuck up the tech companies. The politicians and enforcers who are taking on Big Tech are being shoved from behind by billions of everyday people who are furious and refuse to take it any longer:
https://pluralistic.net/2025/04/10/solidarity-forever-2/#oligarchism
I am deeply grateful for the public servants who have championed this cause, but I also know that these people are the effect of our movement, not the cause. When Kier Starmer fires Britain's brilliant and effective top competition enforcer and replaces him with the former head of Amazon UK, that does nothing to tamp down the political outrage that Britons feel towards America's tech giants:
https://pluralistic.net/2025/01/22/autocrats-of-trade/#dingo-babysitter
All over the world, countries that passed IP laws to protect US tech interests in exchange for tariff-free access to US markets are grappling with the end of free trade with America. This represents a generational opportunity to pass laws that enable local technologists to jailbreak US tech exports and liberate their people from the extractive practices of Big Tech forever:
https://archive.is/CiBIz
There is nothing harder to stop than an idea whose time has come to pass.
If you'd like an essay-formatted version of this post to read or share, here's a link to it on pluralistic.net, my surveillance-free, ad-free, tracker-free blog:

Hi, I’m sorry to bother you. I’ve been attempting to unlearn what I’ve been taught about the DPRK from western outlets, but I’ve gotten stuck on a facet that you can, perhaps, speak to. As is often harped on here in the west, there seems to be a dynastic quality to the leadership, namely the Kim family. Now the fixation that the people have on their leaders I can understand, we can observe the same kind of obsessive fervor in many countries in the west (especially the US). I guess I don’t fully understand the political structure of the DPRK, nor the people’s relations to it. I apologize for the vagueness of this question, and thank you very much for your time.
It is understandable that most people will have no idea about the political structure of the DPRK, and the title of "Supreme Leader" can be confusing if you don't understand how the DPRK's government works.
The political structure of the DPRK is based around democratic centralism, similar to the USSR. Kim Jong-un was elected to the positions of general secretary of the Worker's Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs Commission, which grants him the honorific title of "Supreme Leader" and makes him the representative of the state. However, he is not the head of government. That would be the premier, Kim Tok-hun (unrelated to Kim Jong-un, Kim is simply a very common surname in Korea.) Kim Tok-hun also serves as the vice president of the State Affairs Commission.
The highest organ of the DPRK, meanwhile, is the Supreme People's Assembly, which is a multi-party legislature that votes on laws and constitutional amendments and is responsible for electing both the Premier and the President of State Affairs, among other positions. While there are multiple political parties in the DPRK, the Worker's Party holds a privileged position under the constitution. So while the position of General Secretary does not confer any formal governmental powers, it is still a powerful political position in the country.
The Premier is the head of the Cabinet, which is the administrative and executive body of the DPRK. While the SPA creates laws, amends the constitution, and decides the budget, the Cabinet administers the implementation of them.
The SAC directs the orientation of state policy in the DPRK. While they do not write laws directly, they can issue directives to guide the SPA in determining which laws to write. However, the SAC is ultimately accountable to the SPA and not above it. The SPA is responsible for electing the SAC in the first place and has the authority to recall its members. So while the SAC is not directly elected by the people, it does not hold greater power than the SPA whose members are directly elected.
Members of the SPA are elected by all citizens 17 and older alongside members of local assemblies (compare governors vs senators in the US.) Elections are conducted via secret ballot. Anyone has the right to run for election regardless of party affiliation, which is why there are multiple parties represented in the SPA as well as independent members.
You can read more about the DPRK governmental structure in the DPRK constitution here:

Us elriels really need to stop saying that articles don't mean much just to please the antis. Anyone who studies or work in marketing or pr knows that OF COURSE they mean something. These are multi billion dollar industries, not Tumblr blogs. They don't post random opinions. They have no incentive to post random opinions, and a publisher has no incentive in letting media outlets post random opinions. Pr strategies, people. Google it.
(not directed at you personally, I love you)
Awwwwe (I love you too)
Someone said that - to say these articles mean nothing is actually insulting to the journalists who write them. Writers who have degrees, experience and knowledge that extend beyond the fandom (ofc). And that made me realise its so so true.
These articles mean something. Especially huge credible ones such as TIME and E!. Every newsoutlet strives to be seen as reliable because that is how you get a fanbase. If you were right about one thing, then chances are you’re right about the next. People will begin going to YOU for their news and updates. This is how their reputation builds up.
now imagine, they’re all out here claiming Elain as the next protagonist with Az as her Li or hinting at a love triangle between her and lucien…then all of a sudden BB announces “Hey Azriels book is next! With Gwyn as the Li, enjoy!” it will be embarrassing for these articles, they lose credibility and then just look stupid that they didnt even guess the right protagonist/ship for acotar 6. These articles aim for casual readers, readers who go on onto Google, look at their dashboard “oh an acotar article! Wonder what its about, any news for acotar 6?” They’re then being told about how likely it is Elains the next fmc…if its announced differently- you will get confusion.
Im personally convinced these articles are a soft launch. BB steering the fandom into the right mindset and direction of who the next book is about along with couple. Atp, they’re not going for a shock factor bcs everyone just wants the next book. They want to do something huge, not confuse half their fanbase. Its a way to let acotar be the focus of fantasy media whilst they prep for their 10 year anniversary along with the acotar 6 book announcement (hopefully).
so yh. Elriels should be so damn happy and confident that these articles are acknowledging their ship. Gwynriels and Eluciens are just salty, they want to be mocking to convince themselves it means nothing - but it is something. Its not just one article. It’s multiple. All talking about elriel - we should be happy because war is almost over, we’re reaching the finishing line of this shipwar.
I can gurantee you the day TIME talks about gwynriel, we will never hear the end of it. If they where in our place - we all know they’d celebrate, be smug and claim their ship is endgame so dont let them ruin your fun. Cause they would have done the exact same. No elriel needs to be saying “ ofc articles dont mean much….” “i dont need an article to prove my ship but…” us sane people know that. We know that no elriel is thinking these articles are the foundation of the elriel ship - its the cherry on top
so be SMUG ASF about this. Wave the articles about.
elriels are winning.

So it turns out that Elons trip to Israel wasn't just for kosher theater and an IDF propaganda tour.
A secret meeting took place while he was there that went virtually unreported by any news media outlets.
In attendance was Netanyahu, Musk's tour organizer, investor Omri Casspi, Brigadier General Danny Gold, Head of the Israeli Directorate of Defense Research & Development and one of the developers of Iron Dome, Aleph venture capital funds partner Michael Eisenberg, and Israeli cybersecurity company CHEQ CEO Guy Tytunovich who is ex-israeli intelligence unit 8200.
The six men talked about technology in the service of Israel's defense, dealing with fake content and anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli comments, and the use by non-democratic countries of bots as part of campaigns to change perceptions, including on the X platform.
The solution Musk was presented was the Israeli unicorn CHEQ, a company founded by ex-Israeli intelligence unit 8200 CEO Guy Tytunovich that combats bots and fake users.
Following the meeting, Elon signed an agreement with cheQ, and apparently, the reason for the quick closing of the deal was Elons "direct involvement" with the company.
Now. What they won't tell you.
Israel is primarily responsible for the creation of bots. There currently exists dozens of ex-Israeli intelligence firms whose sole purpose is perception management, social media influencing/manipulation, disinformation campaigns, psychological operations, opposition research, and honey traps.
They create state of art, multi layer, AI avatars that are virtually indistinguishable from a real human online. They infiltrate target audiences with these elaborately crafted social-media personas and spread misleading information through websites meant to mimic news portals. They secretly manipulate public opinion across app social media platforms.
The applications of this technology are endless, and it has been used for character assassination, disruption of activism/protest, creating social upheaval/civil unrest, swaying elections, and toppling governments.
These companies are all founded by ex-Israeli intelligence and members of unit 8200. When they leave their service with the Israeli government, they are backed by hundreds of billions of dollars through Israeli venture capital groups tied to the Israeli government.
These companies utilize the technology and skills learned during their time served with Israeli intelligence and are an extension of the Israeli government that operates in the private sector.
In doing so, they operate with impunity across all geographical borders and outside the bounds of the law. The Israeli government is forbidden by law to spy on US citizens, but "ex" Israeli intelligence has no such limitations, and no laws currently exist to stop them.
Now back to X and Elon Musk.
Elon met with these people in secret to discuss how to use X in service of Israel's defense.
Elon hired an ex-Israeli intelligence firm to combat the bots…. that were created by another ex-israeli intelligence firm.
Elon hired an ex-israeli intelligence firm to verify your identity and collect your facial biometric data.
Do you see the problem yet?
Israel now has end to end control over X. Israel can conduct psychological operations and create social disinfo/influence campaigns on X with impunity. They now have facial biometric data from millions of people that can be used to create and populate these AI generated avatars.
They can manipulate public opinion, influence congressmen and senators, disrupt online movements, manipulate the algorithm to silence dissenting voices against Israel, and they can sway the US elections.
When the company that was hired to combat the bots is also Israeli intelligence…
Who is going to stop them?

Cyberspace is the wild.west. There are currently no laws on the books to regulate foreign influence on social media. There is nothing to stop them from conducting psychological operations and disinformation campaigns on unsuspecting US citizens. These companies operate with impunity across all geographical boundaries and there is nobody to stop them. But don't take my word for it.

For anyone wondering what the end game is for this, it was recently verbalized by Vivek Ramaswamy here on X. To narrow and completely eliminate the gap between what we say (think) in private and in public. In practice, the thought police of the future. And X is actively working on it.

Reconsidering some things about my au jaja
Context: During the Krang invasion the lair was destroyed by some Krang zombies searching for the Key - while Sister Krang was chasing April and Splinter, the zombies tore the lair apart. The Hamatos then need to find a new lair.
NOTE: this is based on what I know about underground structures in my area, so if it’s inaccurate to what exists in America, tell me please!
Pros and cons below the cut, I encourage you to read before you vote
The pros and cons are measured both logistically and from the pov of what I want to do as both an artist and a storyteller
Sewer
- Pros: people know it, and it’s classic, who needs plumbing when you live in the sewer?
- Cons: could come off as unoriginal and overused. Also Donnie probably wouldn’t want to go back there given the hygiene issues - once you have sewage free housing, you never wanna go back. No power outlets as well.
Metro/subway system
- Pros: Semi-familiar environment without having to worry about figuring out the complete layout from the movie, plumbing
- Cons: done before, no power outlets, crap insulation/ventilation
Parking garage
- Pros: roomy, with a lot of potential for layout. Also usually has elevators and ramps, so disability friendly (yay!) - big help for Leo, who’s on crutches, space for the turtle tank
- Cons: No ventilation, no power points, laying out things could be difficult due to the general constraints of a parking garage, plus would require building to make room layouts, which is a lot to put on teenagers after they saved the world from aliens
Storage
- Pros: roomy, with separate spaces, power outlets in some areas, space for the turtle tank
- Cons: no ventilation, all of said “seperate spaces” are usually the same size, all of the spaces’ doors are probably locked and might have random stuff in them
Theatre basement*
- Pros: power outlets, interesting environment, probably has working plumbing bc dressing rooms and backstage toilets, direct access to NYC, might have a parking garage nearby for the turtle tank
- Cons: creepy, lots of random theatre stuff, restricted/limited space, often labyrinthine and confusing
*this makes no sense to anyone who hasn’t worked backstage before but yes, sometimes theatres have basements instead of a normal backstage area, and yes, they are terrifying - sometimes they’re a labyrinth of tunnels to get from one side of the stage to the other, and sometimes they’re a mass of interconnected rooms that if you mapped them out, they’d probably look like a poorly drawn diagram of the human digestive system made by someone with absolutely zero understanding of human anatomy. It depends on the type of theatre.
Shopping mall
- Pros: lots of space with separated rooms of varying sizes, power outlets, working plumbing, ventilation, food court so no worries about having to move in/build new cooking appliances
- Cons: pushing the suspension of disbelief a bit, not a lot of space for the turtle tank, unless you wanna demolish the food court (which I can’t see Mikey being very okay with tbh) (might be able to have an underground parking garage nearby???)

Prince! Itadori x Black femReader prt 2
Info: fluff, adventure, multi part fic
Written with black curvy/chubby readers in mind but all are welcome
Wrd cnt: 1.69k
Prt 1
As you and Yuji contemplated your impending fates a commotion was building outside the tent.
“FIRE!” A booming voice whipped through the camp.
You jumped up from the stool you sat on, the smoke was already starting to fill the air in the tent.
“Grab your shirt.” You called to him, and pulled him out by his wrist.
When you reached the outside of the white tent, now sullied from the ashen air beginning to coat all of the camp, you saw the chaos. You spotted the head nurse directing a trailer from the camp on the barren hill down into the lush forest beneath.
“Nurse! What's happening?” You ran up, Yuji in tow.
“The Barbarians! They're storming the camp!”. She ran up to take Yuji's other hand. “You need to flee and meet with your army. We can't protect you here.”
“But the camp is neutral, are they killing their own people?” Yuji resisted the nurses' pulls towards the escape route, though it mostly looked like her tugging a brick wall.
“If they have a target like you they would've lost those men anyway. Most of them are the ones you injured in your battle.” Yuji was taken aback.
Since he'd been injured only sparse battles have occurred which only lasted a few hours at most. He was the target of the Barbarians all along. With the line of succession open his territory would be vulnerable. Nevertheless he wasn't going to hide like a coward among the sick and injured. He finally had the time to put his shirt back on. It hung loosely around his muscular frame.
“Do you know where my sword and steed are being held?” He turned to you.
His kind amber eyes still held their warmth but focused on you to give an answer urgently.
“You can't possibly-” the head nurse started.
“The stables are by the edge of camp, close to the lake.” You pointed the way and he bolted off.
“(Y/N)!” the Nurse yelled at you as he ran off. “He’s in no condition-”
“If anyone is going to keep the encampment safe it will be him. Let’s focus on setting up a place for triage further in the forest. After all this everyone will need it.”
You helped usher the remaining patients down the slippery hills of the forest to a natural basin near another river outlet closer to Yuji’s kingdom. The screams of those fighting over the ashes of the old campsite echoed to where you had found yourselves. Your heart ached thinking of Yuji fighting, maybe being heavily outnumbered and you wondered if you’d done the right thing by sending him off.
You busied yourself by the end of the first day purifying drinking water and gathering ingredients for healing potions. Some of the patients had sustained burns and you had to quickly find natural remedies in a forest you had barely gotten to know. Others worked on using their magic to create temporary rock and mud huts for patients. When you’d found just about all you could make sense of in the forest’s herbs you headed back and sat on the river bank. The fight raged on even into the night. That gave you some hope the Yuji was still out there fighting. Enough to get you through the next day.
In the morning you were the first up. Catching fish in the river and pounding wild nuts and berries into edible porridge. You’d made a large fire to cook and were careful to cast a smoke concealment spell. The head nurse woke up to you using a giant stick to stir the massive amount of porridge and fish roasting on the sides. You looked like you’d thoroughly lost your mind.
But the smell drew everyone from their huts and away from their miserable night rest. Once everyone had eaten their fill patient daily care was still at the forefront. You directed your fellow nurses to plants with antiseptic properties whose leaves could be used as bandages for the time being and crafted potions with yesterday’s work. And in the night you repeated the same as the morning. You’d brought all the nurses up to speed and everyone fell into their roles once again. The battle could still be heard. When particularly devastating attacks occurred you’d see mass flocks of birds scattering overhead to escape the atrocities. But as long as it continued your people would remain.
The third day was uneventful and fatiguing for all at the camp. In their down time a lot of the nurses watched you pace back and forth working like someone had lit you on fire. The head nurse had to pry you off a tree you’d attempted to climb to get more leaves. But in your sleep deprived state you missed a foothold and fell down. She coaxed you into a mud hut to get some rest which is where you stayed even through dinner. At some point you’d managed to fall asleep and woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of crickets and fire crackling. For a moment you allowed yourself to take in the natural ambiance before you shot up from the ground. The fighting had ended.
“Oh gods.” you whispered to yourself as you clumsily pushed your fatigued body off the ground and out of the hut.
You stumbled out to the haunting forest. The battle was done but you couldn't be sure who won. Part of you nearly began to mourn Yuji until you were startled from your thoughts by the sound of sloshing mud and leaves drawing closer from the forest. You clasped your hand to your face and hid around the corner of the hut, if need be you would wake the others and try quietly to get away.
As the heavy steps grew closer you began to make out the figure of a lone man. The moonlight only illuminated him in slivers at a time. Once it brushed upon his bloodied face and you saw the pink hair peakout through dried blood you stepped out from your hiding spot.
“Yuji” you gasped, stepping toward the bush he was slowly making his way over. His head was bowed from exhaustion. It was a miracle he made it to your camp with his injuries. You caught him just as he tripped out into the basin front. A small part of you wanted to be mad at him for taking on such a foolhardy battle, the other was mad at yourself for letting him. But that was all overshadowed by the immense joy you felt from him having returned in one piece.
You looked up as you heard more zombie-like steps creeping through the forest towards you. You hugged Yuji's now sleeping form against yourself, not sure of what you could do. Soon soldiers wearing the crest of the Itadori kingdom began emerging from the forest. Each as bloodied and bruised as their prince. You finally placed yuji down gently when you saw commander Nobara stumble through with the last set of soldiers. You caught her as well and placed her down gently before going to get the other healers of your clan.
Everyone worked through the night to pull the soldiers through. With healers stretched thin the head nurse walked over to you wordlessly and handed you a wand. Something only the most recognized and talented of your clan get the honor of wielding. You quietly rejoiced as you walked over to the remaining horde of soldiers that needed attending to.
When dawn broke the streaks of blood from soldiers marching to their last salvation were illuminated. The camp was lively with those who’d only endured extreme exhaustion and doctors rushing to care for those in more critical cases. Once you took care of your most critical patients you whisked through the camp looking for Yuji, the head nurse had decided to take him under her care as he wasn’t at 100% to begin with. As you approached her tent you heard hushed voices.
“Excuse me.” You spoke softly before entering the tent. You looked around to see Yuji sitting in bed, some dried blood still stained his skin. And the head nurse brewing a pain reliever. “Sorry I just came to see how he was doing.” You were hoarse from exhaustion.
“Glad I'm not the only one who looks like hell.” He smiled, thoroughly wrapped in plant fiber bandages and propped on pillows.
“The leader of your enemy has been defeated, but some of his men still remain at this camp. It is not our place to get involved in these matters.” The head nurse spoke to both of you.
“I completely understand, I would never ask your people to compromise their values for my sake. I believe a short prison sentence after they've healed will be enough to satisfy me.” He really sounded like he'd been on the throne his whole life.
“Yes well that may take a while”
“After dealing with my own injuries I've learned to be patient.” Yuji's grin turned into a wince.
The head nurse shooed his hand that instinctively went to his injury and used her wand to lessen the pain.
“(Y/N) the medicine.” She nodded to you.
You made your way over to her work station and waved the supplementary wand that still hadn't been taken away over the pot to complete the medicine. It glowed like gold in the dingy wooden pot. You brought it over to where Yuji was fighting a coughing fit, for fear of displacing his ribs. Once he got some of the medicine down he wearily settled back into the pillows.
“Hopefully this time I leave him in your care he'll make a full recovery.” She winked and left the tent to the two of you.

𝑩𝑬𝑯𝑰𝑵𝑫 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑴𝑨𝑺𝑲 - - ⁍ i seriously went from being dead on this site to overwhelming active [ by my standards ] faster than a thanos finger-snap. here's my plan. i'm going to work on organizing my drafts and inbox and get responses / replies to those lovely individuals still alive out there. i'll also respond to some of the shorter things i have stacked up. all with the hope to start some new, fresh activity with everyone out there. o(>ω<)o
at the same time, i'm really, really interested in potentially getting a multi-muse blog up and running - with intentions to write bob, yelena, and walker on that blog. i definitely want to begin exploring some of these new muses and a multi-muse blog may work until i decide to either move all four (buck included) onto a single blog or separate them out based on whichever ones stick.
thank you all for being patient, showing interest in writing with me, and gushing with me about thunderbolts*. this movie kind of came at a perfect time in my life, when i actually needed it most. i have been drowning in mental health issues for a long while now and this movie just gave me a wonderful push in a good direction. the impact it has had on me so far has been so profound. so i thank marvel and for you kind folks for giving me an outlet to find enjoyment and excitement once more. thank you for being patient! hoping to remain as active as possible and not let this light spark out - or be consumed by a VOID. It was just by chance that tragic Liam Payne met Rogelio ‘Roger’ Nores — the Argentinian multi-millionaire who was with the former teen heartthrob in the fateful hours before he died. In 2020, the One Direction star was at a dinner party at the London home of Edward Enninful, the former editor of British Vogue, when he was introduced to the energy entrepreneur, and they quickly struck up a bond. Nores would go on to work hard behind the scenes to keep Payne clean – but friends worried he was isolating the musician. Earlier this year, Payne ended up moving close by Nores and a few other pals in Florida as he tried to make a fresh start following years of struggles with addiction. He had, friends said, suffered a few “traumatic episodes” over the past two years, but things looked brighter and he had only recently moved into a $9,500-a-month Spanish-style mansion in Palm Beach with his girlfriend, social media influencer Kate Cassidy, while Nores owns an apartment in Miami Beach. He loved bowling and was learning to play polo.
During the summer, however, Nores went off to Europe with his girlfriend, while Payne went to Manchester, England, with a nine-person team, including Cassidy, family members and stylists, to film his new Netflix show, “Building the Band” with Nicole Scherzinger and Kelly Rowland. It was not a decision that Nores was happy with, as he feared that Payne might relapse, we’re told, as he knew too many dealers in the UK.
In a note seen by Page Six, Nores emailed Payne’s father, Geoff, and his management team in August and made his worries crystal clear as the singer had only been clean for four months.
He wrote, “Liam stayed at my friend’s ranch down in Palm Beach and since the first day he arrived he was monitored and treated by professional doctors who specialize in addictions. He stayed fully clean without access to any hard drug (sic) during his whole stay. “The plan was for him to work on the preparation for a music tour and stay healthy and busy with work. A plan he successfully followed during his whole stay in the US.” However, Nores continued, “I’m really concerned for his well-being while he is out there and I hope you can bring professional doctors to check on his health regularly as soon as possible as I did while he was out in the US."
One source who knows Nores said, “They were opposites, Roger had never tried a drug in his life, he never drinks, he’s not a party guy, he’s intellectual and Liam was the opposite, but they loved talking to each other. Liam was the kind of guy who would ask 20 people for advice — and Roger was one of them.”
We’re told that Liam became friends with a staffer in the cleaning department of the hotel, and he got him to get him drugs. Local outlets in Argentina featured a recording of the hotel manager allegedly talking to police in which he confirmed had fired staffers after Nores told him they were selling drugs to Liam.
***
So much for all the Ziam clowns saying Roger Nores was Liam's dealer. He was actively trying to keep Liam away from drugs.

why the movie "the sound of freedom," is bullshit we need to keep an eye on
i need yall to know that the sound of freedom movie is being called qanon shit because it perpetuates qanon lite and holds up the pipeline to average people. it's only in theaters now rather than years ago when it was produced, because qanon has created a fervent audience for it. the fervent audience is now a counter to the fact that the studios involved in its production were swayed from releasing it by experts in child trafficking who informed them of the misinformation it would spread. this movie not only sensationalizes child trafficking, it also simplifies what leads to child trafficking in a way that creates a false perception of how it happens at all, especially by depicting children exclusively being kidnapped by strangers rather than the more common situations where kids trust their abusers and come to depend on those who exploit them in exchange for housing, food, and drugs that traffickers often force their victims into dependency. it even fails to acknowledge the fact that most (67%) child trafficking victims are between 15 and 17, most often queer kids kicked out of their homes by parents, with a majority of young child victims being sold into slavery to pay off debts or in exchange for drugs by their own parents. sound of freedom turns perpetuators of child trafficking into anonymous villains and implies complicity in government, especially liberal government figures, rather than focusing on the parents who kick out their kids or neighbors who groom those parents and take in their troubled teens and send them somewhere no one cares enough about to investigate until they're completely missing. "raising awareness" of child trafficking is a noble goal, but relying on the terrifying shock of toddlers being assaulted rather than dissecting the systemic ways children are coerced and exploited muddies the waters and makes us directionless and afraid, with mysterious figures implied to be the real source of the problem (hint: when a movie has vague, powerful monsters instead of the real villain being the deeply entangled web of multi-system failures, there's a 50/50 shot the audience will stumble into "its the jews fault," while attempting research outside the conventional sources films like these say are controlled by "the media, re: the jews again." that's the whole point of the vagueness and instilling mistrust in reputable news outlets and academia.)
furthermore, the film is based on and vindicates tim ballard, a guy who quit his effective but not-so-action-packed work against child pornography with the cia, to go to south america and document himself "saving" people from human sex trafficking in colombia and haiti. ask anyone who works in trafficking prevention and they'll have some THINGS to say about this guy, they fucking HATE tim ballard! "but why?" you may ask. the answer is that he thinks things stop existing when not in direct line of sight. mr. ballard failed to think about how the extenuating circumstances surrounding these survivors, such as debt, drugs, poverty, and housing. as such, almost everyone tim "rescued," from trafficking wound up right back where they were within a handful of years. tim is also a proponent of the qanon conspiracy theory and fully believes that children are being molested and drained of blood by a secret kabal of wealthy elites to harvest their adrenochrome. this conspiracy theory has deep roots in one of the longest-standing antisemitic conspiracy theories on earth about jewish people stealing away christian/white children to drink their blood or use it for dark magic, aka blood libel.
this movie is designed to make its viewer fall down the rabbit hole of disinformation and qanon. its star, jim cavizeel (aka jesus from passion of the christ) has completely fallen down that rabbit hole since filming the damn thing, and cites the sound of freedom as the lynchpin in his journey there.
the sound of freedom is not worth your time, but it is worth your time to learn why this movie is sensationalized propaganda so that you can refute it.

Before picking between the two types of pumps, you are required to consider factors such as maintenance, instalment space, functionalities, and applications. Vertical centrifugal pump fit when you have a minimal area. They are ideal for fluids with high temperatures and pressure and have a wide variety of applications.
The vertical centrifugal pumps are coupled with electric motors. The impeller gets linked over the shaft with the electrical motor that turns at a predefined rate and produces a centrifugal effect. These premium quality vertical centrifugal pump is operated by a direct-drive electric motor and have high-performance information regarding flow rate. The robust building of these pumps stays clear of making use of interior mechanical seals. The mechanical seals are commonly interchangeable.
The open impeller allows continuous pumping of even filthy liquids or media including small solids. The construction and style of these pumps make them trustworthy for ensured continuous operation and make certain long life. For specialized services customized to your demands, take into consideration speaking with a pioneer centrifugal process pump manufacturer.

RVMS Series Vertical Multistage Pumps
RVMS is a vertical non-self-priming multistage centrifugal pump driven by a basic electric motor. The motor output shaft directly gets in touch with the pump shaft with a coupling. The pressure-resistant cylinder and flow passage elements get fixed between the pump head and inlet & outlet area with tie-bar bolts. The inlet and electrical outlet go to the pump base at the same plane. For certain insights right into self-priming pump innovations and services, think about consulting with a reputable self priming pump manufacturer.
RVMS pumps are stainless steel vertical multistage pumps available in large ranges and sizes. Pumps obtain provided with 150 # and 300 # ANSI flanges.

About the Teigh
What should I say about myself past my tagline? "50 year old beach heathen. Lokean. Tea/coffee-drinker. Writer/photographer/hobby chef. Tarot/runes/dreams/psychometry. Genderfluid. Bisexual. Multi-fandom nerd. Why am I the only one who has that dream? They/Them," only gives so much, after all, and I mean, one of those things is a line from a movie probably a lot of you haven't seen because you're too young, and it doesn't have Taylor Swift in it.
If you've looked at my Tumblr, you know I'm a HUGE Marvel/MCU nerd. There are characters I hate (I have tags especially for you folks who love those characters so that you can filter out my rare venting about those characters posts), there are characters I like, there are characters I love, and then there are characters that I'd potentially open up a metaphorical vein for them. We all have those. We're nerds. We're on Tumblr, ffs.
I love tea. Yes I love coffee, too, but because of an rp character my name and personality has sort of become enmeshed with even just the notion of tea and all manner of tea paraphernalia. Teapots, tea cups, tea service, tea sets, tea, tea, tea, tea... *cue Monty Python singing the Spam song but it's tea*
I love photography. I'm a hobby photographer, and once I'm the hell out of Texas, I'll feel inspired to jump back into my photo game again.
I love cooking. What started out of spite because of my ex and a mutual friend telling me I'd starve to death without the ex to cook for me has turned into a creative outlet and passion. I know I cook more than my ex ever did, and with the exception of my picky, pissy SIL, most people love my cooking. So yay me.
I love animals, the beach (obviously - it's the place I most want to be), flowers, lots of different fandoms aside from Marvel (Hannibal, The Following, horror movies, Stephen King, period movies, literature, Shakespeare, Stranger Things, Peaky Blinders, Boardwalk Empire, ALL of the things that Mike Flanagan directs, BBC Sherlock, RDJ's Sherlock movies - the list is really kind of long, so I won't try to put everything down). I love pretty much all types of music (save Christian rock and quite a lot of pop singers, esp one particular one whose name I've had to filter out because so many of y'all love her).
I write fanfiction. I'm not a popular writer, but I'm damned good at what I do. For those who don't know, I'm Wolfsheart on AO3. I'm a huge sucker for kudos and comments. LOVE the comments, especially the positive ones. Hateful ones, not so much. I delete, block, and report people who send hateful shit. If you leave hateful shit without signing in, I'll report you as spam since AO3 hasn't provided a way to block and report 'guests'.
I've got side blogs on Tumblr that are mine alone and a few Tumblrs that I co-mod with one of my sibs from another crib, @scottxlogan. In case you're interested:
Mine:
Love is in the Earth (A blog about geology/stones/crystals covering both geological and metaphysical properties of them)
Mimir's Well (Tarot/Divination blog)
Lokiscarlip (Good Omens RP)
Mine and Scottxlogan's:
Marvelrarepairs (Marvel Rare Pairs, self-explanatory)
Starksummers (Also self-explanatory? Scott Summers/Tony Stark, or as we call them, Mechanical Boy Band)
Marvelrarepairs Bingo (Same as above but with Bingo cards!)
Scott Summers Bingo (A bingo for pro-Scott Summers folks)
Scogan Bingo (Scott Summers/Logan)
Oh yeah, here's a big thing. Super big heathen here. Nordic gods are my deity-drugs of choice. Loki's the top of the hierarchy. I read tarot, runes, psychometry. I'm your basic beach witch currently stuck in relatively Central Texas, trying to get this making money for me before my sister and I can escape Tex-ass and even after.
Look, I tag every post. I tag with what's in the post, if I put my negative opinions into the post (even the tags), I will always tag with "This is not a ***** friendly blog." Ex. "This is not a Jean Grey friendly blog," and "This is not a Peggy Carter friendly blog." If there's something I post that isn't tagged in a way that you'd like to filter it out, send me an Ask and I will put that tag into my routine so that you can filter it out. Tags are a courtesy, and I'm all about being courteous - kind of wish more folks on here were that courteous because there's some stuff I filter out and y'all don't tag so I'm stuck seeing it and have to block those posts.
Oh but here's the catch. I have Anon Asks shut off. I used to get a lot of hate asks and even death threats in anon because someone didn't like that I don't like a character they loved. That was pre-tagging days on here. So I shut off Anon Asks. Sorry, not sorry. You can send me asks, you'll be safe, and I won't like...eat your face or anything.
I only eat the rude.

yes to what that anon said about the articles. What people don't get is pr. There was a pr person who came to Nike's asks a couple of weeks ago and explained about pr and I looked into it so much after that. Seriously, look into publishing and pr strategy like that anon said yesterday. Publishers and media outlets communicate with each other. Publishers nudge and media outlets want to be nudged and correct. They don't want to spew nonsense. It's how it works and it makes so much sense. Like anon said yesterday, these are multi billion dollar industries. And random chronically online acotar fans childishly act like it can all be dismissed like nothing. That's not how it works and common sense should be enough to understand it. It's the same in music, film, other entertainment industries when there are new releases. It's like an ecosystem of how all these groups interact to generate profit. I find it hard to believe people don't grasp this. It seems so naive.
Yess someone copied the anon and sent it into the reddit thread yesterday. Its so detailed and truly explains the relationship between newsoutlets and publishing companies.
they have to communicate with each other otherwise the publishers get a confused fanbase whereas the articles loss credibility. Not to say BB is in contact with every single article that comes out but the big ones? Absolutely.
Media outlets want to be seen as reliable, correct, trustworthy. That is how they build a following, especially major ones like TIME. They dont want to be wrong bcs it makes them look embarrassing. Acotar 6 will be a huge release, the last thing BB wants is half the fandom especially casual readers who these articles cater too, to be confused. BB is the one nudging the outlets into the right direction. They dont have to confirm anything, its simple as them saying “yh talk about Elain and the Az/lucien triangle” and thats it.
At a point - when its multiple media talking and interacting w elriels, I feel like you cant dismiss it any further. You have to come to the realisation its all being done for a reason- there’s a particular narrative being pushed and it doesn’t favour gwynriel.
It’s naive and frankly, insulting to say these articles mean nothing, the journalists havent done their research etc. For huge releases in any industry- multiple people from different fractions work together - you worded it perfectly, its an ecosystem. Right now - media outlets are bringing ACOTAR back into the media, BB is being more active w the fandom again, its all gearing upto the 10 year anniversary as it was late last year and now this year where media for acotar and speculation for acotar 6 has picked up. Everyone is beginning to play their part, create an active buzz again for acotar and Sarah
