i know blog's been dead lately, holidays plus animation have kept me busy, but i got fandom art in the pipeline, and i decided imma start prepping for ArtFight literally now, so that way i have an excuse to make myself do key art for Glitch Hunters I've been procrastinating, and maybe I'll be happy with where my character's pages are at come july lol

So pumped for Multiversus coming out next week that I decided to finally put together this fun little concept for the game.

Basically it'd be a variant skin for Tom & Jerry, but you play as Sylvester & Tweety instead! Get a real War of the Whiskers going!

It probably won't happen, but it's fun to think about, right?

"Adventure!" — Flapjack

As I got myself in a Cartoon Network mood after 17 days of my Nicktoons mood, I pondered of what I should make. Then, it hit me: making my take on Flapjack in MultiVersus style.

Like my MultiVersus take on Jeff, this was a time-consuming process; this was three days of tedious progress, from making the shading, starting with the head, followed by the body, and finishing it off with the white shading. Throughout the process, I relied on looking at Flapjack's character model from Punch Time Explosion on Sketchfab and this other MultiVersus fan art of Flapjack I found made by JriftJA as reference to get the shading down, as well as other MultiVersus character renders to help pull it off.

I gotta say, compared to my MultiVersus Jeff, it's a vast improvement when it came to the shading.

Like Jeff, I hope for other Cartoon Network characters like Flapjack to join the game.

I gotta wonder, for how many massive crossovers (Smash, Marvel vs. Capcom, Multiversus) there are to help get fans of one franchise to get interested into another one, how many fans were driven away further from an unfamiliar franchise.

Say what you want about Fire Emblem having too many swordfighters even though there's plenty of classes to pick from in that franchise, but how many players out there who haven't played Pikmin never will because Olimar's awful design screams "unemotive tyrant of plant aliens" and not "working class science hero and alien race helping each other survive the wild"?
