SOR 1 HSC - Review
Back again with another HSC review! Nearly to the end and while I'm glad to leave the HSC behind, I'm gonna miss writing these reviews for my fellow 2023 graduates. However, it's not October 31st yet so it's time to review SOR! I go to a catholic school so it's mandatory lol.
What to say? THAT WAS BLOODY LOVELY. EXQUISITE EXAM I MUST SAY.
The multiple choice was kinda tricky but I answered it to the best of my ability. Some questions were badly worded but I think I did okay on it.
The 5 marker was amazing. So easy and I am so glad it wasn't on ecumenism or interfaith dialogue. Thank you NESA for that lovely question.
The Judaism section was interesting, but I did alright in it. Didn't like it was 5 marks for everything, but I survived.
Christianity didn't have a stimulus... weird in my opinion, especially since every other year had a stimulus. NESA must have been feeling funny and pulled that onto us, but I survived once again.
Anyways, I'm glad that's over. I'm gonna spend the rest of the day watching Chucky and then look over my CAFS and Business Services notes. Nearly to the end!
See you on Tuesday for my double exam day! - Em

English Paper Two - Review
Finally finished with English so time to review paper two! This is for English Standard so I have no clue how it went for Advanced, but feel free to tell me Advanced girlies.
Firstly... THANK YOU, NESA, FOR NOT ONLY GIVING US AN OPTION BETWEEN IMAGINATIVE AND DISCURSIVE IN MOD C, BUT WE ALSO DIDN'T HAVE TO WRITE A REFLECTION. THANKS GUYS THAT REALLY SAVED MY SANITY.
Secondly... MOD A HAS SUCH AN AWFUL QUESTION. I have no clue what it's like for other texts, but it did not bode well with The Castle. I felt like I may have just retold the movie which I really hope I didn't. There's always one bad question and it was this one. Hope you step on Legos for that awful Module A question NESA.
Mod B was alright. It was very vague and could work for my Robert Gray poems, but I had to rush it so I could get Mod C done. HSC markers, I hope you enjoy reading my Mod B essay... because it wasn't that good.
Anyways, Mod C was pretty good and my piece worked so well for the stimulus. Again, thank you NESA for no reflection.
Now my next exam is Legal Studies on Wednesday but I deserve a nice break after suffering through English. I'm just gonna spend the rest of the day watching Criminal Minds so see you for my review on Wednesday!

Legal Studies HSC - Review
HOLY LORD I'M FINALLY FINISHED WITH LEGAL-
After all the tears that were shed over this stupid subject, I'm finally finished with it.
Anyways, what's my verdict? That multiple choice was insanely easy. Like no joke, I LOVED THE MULTIPLE CHOICE. All that practice paid off. The Human Rights short answers were... something. The only ones I liked were the first two and those were the easy ones.
The Crime essay was far too broad. I was expecting Young Offenders or International Crime, not something about Courts and Compliance. Pretty sure I just waffled about Punishments for five pages but oh well, it's out of my hands now.
For the option essays... I think I invented an entirely new system for The United Nations. Also, I made up cases like I was writing a fanfiction (Band 6 incoming). Family was somewhat okay, although I was waffling through it. HSC markers are truly gonna have a field day deciphering my writing.
Anyways, now that's over so I'm gonna spend the rest of the day watching Criminal Minds and finish the Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers movie. Business Studies is next but that's next Tuesday so I have plenty of time to cry... I mean study lol.
See you on Tuesday! - Em
