In a normal circumstance, I hate Netflix. However, they struck a deal to produce new episodes of Sesame Street and will ensure that the episodes remain free and accessible on PBS for all kids and for that, they deserve gratitude.

Additionally, unlike the deal previous struck with HBO, this one with Netflix also makes its so new episodes are simultaneously available via Netflix, PBS, and the PBS Kids app.

Please continue to support Sesame Street and all the other PBS programming via donations to ensure everyone, kids and adults alike, continue to have access to educational viewing.

"Happy Gilmore 2" has arrived on Netflix, and for fans of the original, it's a nostalgic trip down the fairway that largely delivers on its promise of more chaotic golf and Sandler-brand humor. Picking up decades after Happy's improbable PGA Tour victory, the sequel finds our favorite hockey-player-turned-golfer grappling with new challenges, both on and off the course.

Adam Sandler effortlessly slips back into the iconic role, bringing Happy's signature blend of rage, heart, and surprisingly endearing buffoonery. The film excels at leaning into the "member berries" – those delightful callbacks to the first movie that will have long-time viewers grinning from ear to ear. The dynamic with Christopher McDonald's Shooter McGavin is rekindled with fresh energy, and it's a joy to see their rivalry continue to drive much of the comedic tension.

While the plot introduces a new antagonist and expands on Happy's family life, it never loses sight of the core silliness that made the first film a cult classic. The golf stunts are as outlandish as ever, and the supporting cast, including a host of fun cameos from both original cast members and real-world figures, adds to the lively atmosphere. "Happy Gilmore 2" knows exactly what its audience wants, and it serves up a hearty platter of laughs, sentimentality, and a whole lot of Happy's unique brand of golf. It's a feel-good reunion that proves you can go home again, especially when "home" involves hitting golf balls with a hockey stick.
