Aliko Dangote’s daughter, Fatima Dangote got married to Jamil Abubakar last week. They had a number of wedding celebrations from Kano to Kaduna; the grand finale – a dinner reception held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. 23 Nigerian wedding vendors collaborated to bring us the biggest wedding shoot ever tagged #TheAkugbe18. The shoot, led by Oluwatobi of Ceomania Alaso-Oke and Seyi Adegeye of RareMagic, featured a beautiful union between an Edo family and a Yoruba family. The bride, Isimeme (played by TV presenter, Amanda Dara) and the groom, Mr Majekodunmi (played by Tade Ayodeji) had their fictional traditional wedding on the got married on the 13th of March, 2018.

Top model, Chanel Iman shared clips from her recent wedding to Sterling Shepherd. She called her wedding day the most magical day of her life. From the moment her bridesmaids saw her in her dress, their beautiful first dance, Tiffany Haddish’s speech; we’re not sure which clip is our favourite so we’ll just share everything.

Three couples celebrated their wedding anniversaries last week. Nollywood star, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and her husband, Matthew Ekeinde celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary on the 23rd of March, 2018. The actress shared this message on Instagram on the day, which was also her husband’s 50th birthday.

Ghanaian celebrity stylist and personal shopper, Nana Yaw (popularly known as WardrobeYak) got married last week in a star-studded ceremony. Nana has styled a number of Ghanaian celebrities including Nana Ama McBrown, Moesha Boduong, Empress Jamila, Soraya Mensah, Afia Schwarzenegger, Semira Adams, Benedicta Gafah among others.

The stylist looked stunning for her traditional and white wedding. Her groom, who’s also a stylist, wore a bold vibrant jacket paired with a white shirt and chequered trousers for the white wedding.
