Anywayyyyy, the writing conference I go to every year is amazing.

And after bailing the last two years because of imposter syndrome I didn’t have a book to pitch, this year I decided to keep my appointment with the literary agent who also happens to be my favorite writing teacher.

I told him I DO have a percolating book that his classes had helped me unlock, but it wasn’t at the pitching stage. He asked if I wanted to talk about it, and when I did, he got really excited about the story and the potential—so did I—and we absolutely went over our allotted appointment time.

I mean, now I have to WRITE IT. But if I can nail it? Mmm. It will be so good.
