I said I have stuff planned for February (and it's now February), so I figured I should make a short post about it! (Also MY COMEBACK RAHHH 🔥🔥🔥)

Since it's February, aka Azul's birth month, I got the silly idea to make at least one drawing of him until his birthday, until I realized "Wait, two other important days also fall on February..." so I decided to make it an entire month thing and properly plan it out. Now here we are 🤡

This entire thing is basically just that: For each day of February, I'll have one post (mostly drawings) featuring the one and only Azul Ashengrotto

All my plans (the schedule) are in that calendar (or a clearer version utc)! If YOU 🫵 would like to make stuff based on this, feel free to tag me bc I'd love to see it and rb :D (with the exception of ship art) (also sorry it's not very designed for participation, this was just made for fun 😭💔)

First of all, here's the ACTUAL calendar I had made

Fun fact: I added that Tangled prompt wayyy before they announced the new twst event so, in a way, I helped manifest it /j

I tried to make the schedule make sense, like you can see for Sundays and Saturdays, but as you can see... it didn't entirely work out and it's still kinda random 🤡

The most important days on this calendar, at least to me, are February 4, 14, and 24! Coincidentally all 10 days apart, actually

Now you may be wondering, "Taru, what the hell is Azulchi Day." Well, you see, back when twst en was newly born...

And little did I know the repercussions this would have 😔 But yeah, so I chose this date bc it also fell on February so why not

You may also be wondering, "Taru, why are there musicals there?" Because I've been convinced that in another life, Azul would be striving to form his drama career. Like look at this guy and tell me he shouldn't be put into musicals. (Just be glad Hamilton isn't on here /j)

And last question I can think of, "Where did Chapter 5 go?" Azul was barely there, man. But there's a chance I might switch some to Chapter 7 because Chapter 7 is silly

this was regarding a completely different situation but it baffled me how much it connects to the plot itself; the reader making the "mistake" of leaving her door open, and how it lead to months full of trauma and love. probably completely unintentional, but such a good detail.

The way he words his question only furthers that little feeling in your chest. It's almost as though he were implying that any and all versions of you would be acceptable in his eyes. - Chapter 16

AAAA WE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN!!!! WE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WAS FORESHADOWING OUR FUTURE WITHOUT GOJO 😭😭😭 how he can live with the idea of the reader hating him so long as she's happy with Choso, especially considering his later revelations of how twisted his actions were and how if you stuck with him, he'd view you differently. fuck.

You despise the fact that he loves you. To you, it's almost entitled for him to feel like he has that right. How dare he hold such a strong emotion for you? If he felt this way, why is he forcing you to sleep with people for him? It makes no sense. 

Why would someone claim to love you and put you through so much? 

If he's been in love with you all this time, why start the list in the first place? Why couldn't he have just tried to win your heart from the beginning? Why the list? Why the blackmail? You don't understand him. - Chapter 23

i'm crushed. we didn't understand because we didn't know that Sukuna was involved. that could mean a million other things. i have some far-fetched theories about this but hear me out later!!!

the entirety of chapter 23 had me fucking floored while i was rereading. THE FORESHADOWING WAS EVERYWHERE!!! EVERY FUCKING WHERE

"No sweetheart, Sukuna's an asshole but..." His expression flickers and his smile fades away. He swallows and then clears his throat, "I'm pretty sure he'll satisfy you just fine." 

...

You narrow your eyes at him, "Are you sure?"

 "Fuckin' positive," Gojo suddenly sounds pissed and you grow concerned. The arm around you gets a little tighter while he walks you through some crowds and you keep looking at the man confused. 

There's a vein popping out along his jawline because of how hard he's gritting his teeth.

of course he's aggravated because he knows that Sukuna is the one behind the list in the first place 😭😭😭 I'M SORRY WE DOUBTED YOU SATORU, FUCKKKK

——FIFTEEN MINUTES. That was the exact amount of time it took you to seduce Sukuna. The act was way too easy. Actually, it was suspiciously easy.

BECAUSE HE FUCKING KNEW 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

"What all did you plan on doing tonight aside from getting harassed by strangers?" Sukuna suddenly questions against your skin. 

You ignore how close he is and the way his lips make you tense, turning your head to face forward. Chuckling at his last comment, "Same thing as everyone else here." You reply, slightly confused by his question. 

"Bullshit," He utters, "Nobody dresses like this without the intent of gaining my attention," Sukuna claims while his hands slide back down along your body.

this 100% could be just him being cocky and Sukuna, but the recent reveal just makes this feel like an extra demeaning interaction. but of course, it's Sukuna.

chapter 24 is so fucking shady too with everything we know. i know you addressed some of these points already bc i brought them up in previous anon messages, but these things still had me paranoid;

the way Sukuna leaves us and tells the reader to go to his room after a certain amount of time (i know he could have just been tidying up real quick but everything about this man has me on edge)

the way he's been consistently on the phone since the reader entered the room, which is shortly after she messaged Gojo saying that she'll be able to cross Sukuna off of this list by tonight which he wasn't happy with at all.

no seriously, he kept diverting his attention to something in the bathroom and then came out, still on his phone. maybe he's talking to literally anyone else but STILL I'M PARANOID

this happens in chapter 25 but the way he keeps smiling while the reader kisses him is just so smug of him especially considering the original reason as to why the reader's even interacting with him

the foreshadowing that the lack of knowledge of Sukuna's reputation will come back to bite her in the ass; first with the knowledge that he is abusive, and then her finding out that he is the curator of the list, knowing the full details of her blackmail and even threatening her again.

WHO DID HE FUCKING FIGHT HELPPPPP MY MIND IS BOGGLING there's no way it's Gojo, right? they're both too unscathed in these next few chapters for there to have been a fight between the two of them.

the way he tried to humor the reader about her "job" even though he was in on the whole thing. UGH. SUKUNA WHEN I GET YOU SUKUNA?? 👊👊👊👊 especially with that "whore" joke right afterwards. i can't stand him. i know that it's implied that he has a twisted view on women from having abusive women in his life (his mom and his ex who he punched) BUT STILL. he's so lucky he's fictional and hot.

the fact that we're able to pick up on the fact that it's a "crazy coincidence" that he continues the whore jokes UGHHHHH HE HAS BEEN PLAYING US FROM THE STAAAAAARTT

Gojo got upset at something from Sukuna's party, he didn't want you to call yourself a whore all of a sudden, Sukuna seems to have believed that was your actual job, and you remember how pissed Gojo seemed as he thought about you sleeping with Sukuna-

seriously though, these chapters killed me. the official end obliterated my heart. it's so fucking bittersweet i want to scream at the top of a high building. the reader ends up happy and with someone she loves, which is fantastic for her. she deserves that after everything she went through. Choso treats her so, so well.

but Gojo. with the theories i have, i feel horrible. i was so harsh towards him as a die hard Choso girly but these endings changed me. i just hope i'm right.

the fact that his healing journey is harsher than ours makes this ending sting so much. he's healed, and you can see it with his demeanor from the call and the way he interacted with the reader.

we were always made aware of the way he looked at us such deep attachment. the initial gleam shows that he's happy to see us, but that he's not reliant on us for his happiness anymore. he's finding that on his own, and it's a grueling process for him. i wished the reader gave him a hug, but that would probably make me feel even worse.

"Through my blackmailing, I fell for you but I also did it because I loved you from the start." i'm gonna throw up bro i'm so sad. i'm proud of his growth. his obsession was so, so strong but he always prioritized the reader's happiness over himself. i know that being self-sacrificial is so core to his personality but it doesn't make it suck any less. i'm devastated. i started blasting mitski in the car on my way to work after reading this.

i thought i was ready for the journal burning. i was so ready for this tie to be severed, for them to finally move on. but i failed to realize that it could ultimately mean a life without each other. it makes sense as to why, but it still sucks.

kami i need that poly ending before i cry my eyes out at 4 am rn. you know i can't handle angst, but bittersweet endings lowkey hurt me even more. i need all my babies to be happy. i desperately need it.

but that alt ending... fuck. in a horrible, sick, and twisted way, i'm relieved. i'm a Choso girly from the bottom of my heart but i can't let this Gojo go omfg. even if he shows up for one more chapter, i think i'll be alright. okay, time for my mind-fucky theory. pls bare with me. if it wasn't obvious by my last post, i'm 100% on board with the theory that Sukuna's blackmailing Gojo, which started this whole thing. but the thing that is getting me is how this all connects. i have some assumptions that could make sense, but there are a handful of gaps. here's my thought process;

Sukuna's blackmailing Gojo by using his obsession/love against him.

we are already familiar with the fact that Gojo has liked the reader for years. there was a chapter where Gojo mentioned that it started off as a "crush" but he was so oblivious to his own obsession up until the reader mentioned it to him. it's to the point that he didn't understand what was wrong with the idea of hurting people for the reader. who's to say that Sukuna didn't catch him in some sort of heinous act regarding the reader like stalking?

Gojo didn't understand the difference between love and obsession until later on in the story. this would be consistent with the implication that Gojo just loved her so deeply that his morals were askew as we have yet to find out how far his love goes.

what if Sukuna caught him in the act of doing god knows what, and brought up the fact that if the reader found out about this, that she'd get super freaked out and would do everything she can to get away from him (considering probably barely knew each other, if at all, at this point). but why would Sukuna devise such a plan over a money bribe? well, Sukuna's already revealed to be wealthy, and maybe he was bored. the same line that Gojo kept repeating to the reader whenever she questioned him as to why he did it. what if Gojo asked Sukuna why he's blackmailing him, and he said the exact same thing; "I was bored." we see how much Sukuna mirrors Gojo's speech by calling the reader "sweetheart" often, what if Gojo did the same thing?

we wondered in chapter 23 how Gojo reaches out to these men to ensure their debt is "paid," but considering how oblivious everyone else on the list is to Gojo owing them anything, it would make sense that he only reports to Sukuna as he is ordered to do so. but two things stumped me on this theory overall.

the reader said that she used to party a lot and get involved with boys before Gojo. if he was stalking her for so long, why did he wait so long to approach her?

what specifically would be the blackmail that Sukuna has on Gojo?

regarding the first point, it's been mentioned that Gojo has been "scared of women" and was shy when it came to approaching the reader. he knew of her for so long, but was able to constantly slip under her radar. considering how much of a pervert he is, it wouldn't have been surprising for him to sneak around and watch in on the reader hooking up with other guys. after all, these guys were probably complete strangers to him and all he cared about was you. remember how Gojo was basically able to tune out his own best friend, Suguru, when the reader was hooking up with him in their living room? it wouldn't be wild to assume that he was able to do the same for your other hookups as he spied on you.

to connect this with second point, what if Sukuna caught Gojo being a peeping tom on the reader during a party hook-up? while being so distracted in the act of spying, Sukuna spots him. the reader wouldn't be alright with the fact that someone who's barely an acquaintance (if that, depending on the time this occurred) to her has been perving around and watching her have sex without her consent. she would do anything to get away from Gojo, and of course that would crush him. Gojo tried to buy Sukuna's silence by any means necessary. so, Sukuna generated a list of people that he and Gojo mutually knew for the reader to fuck. the reasoning for it would be the fact that Gojo has to sit through the process of having the girl he likes fuck a bunch of guys besides him, and the fact that Gojo knew all these men would make it sting more. plus, he has a reputation for hookups. (chapter 8)

but why would Gojo agree to this deal with Sukuna, and why would he also go with the method of blackmailing the reader? it's basically a guarantee that the reader would be scared away regardless. but again, we could recall that Shoko mentioned that he was too "scared of women" to approach the reader at first. this was his chance to finally approach her. plus, "once that video is gone, there is no excuse he'll have to be around you." (chapter 8)

but the more i thought of this reasoning for the two points, the more bizarre it felt. so what if instead of Gojo being a peeping tom, it was Sukuna. we get so many hints that Sukuna has eyes and intel everywhere. we get an indirect implication of this when he called us out for rolling our eyes during our phone call with him. yes, it could be completely by chance, but it's still a great hint that he "sees everything" and "knows everything." we get an even bigger hint towards this in the alt ending when he directly references The F*ck List.

A/N > Others have taken note of how Sukuna knew she rolled her eyes but trust me, that’s just to show that Sukuna knows the reader’s body language more than he’s let on & paid attention to her a lot during the time they were together.

it wouldn't be too far fetched to assume that he has some shady videos taken of people without his consent, some possibly acquired through other people (like how Gojo was revealed to have sent Sukuna the video of the reader from the first chapter). what if Gojo caught Sukuna with the video, threatened him to delete it, and Sukuna counterthreatened to have it be sent and posted everywhere. it would be highly ironic, but consistent with the way that Gojo and Sukuna practically mirror each other at times. the reasoning for the list choices would still be the same for this theory, too.

loved you from the start; his obsession has been consistent from the start (supports Gojo being a peeping tom theory) or he has always had a deep concern for you (supports him wanting to stop Sukuna from spreading blackmail of you instead).

“I’ve sacrificed everything for you, y’know.” 

“How? What’s everything that you’ve sacrificed, hm?” 

“You. I sacrificed the woman I love to make her happy.” Gojo admits, and of all he’s said thus far, that feels like the truest statement. 

“I could’ve been happy with you.” You remind him. 

He laughs, “Yeah well, I’m an idiot.” 

You scoff, “That’s all you have to say?” 

“Yup.” - Chapter 56

is he an idiot for being a peeping pervert instead of just approaching you normally? maybe. how does this make her happy? she ends up finding love through Choso, through the list, through the blackmail.

But deleting the video means ... he has no more leverage over you and can't force you to help him with the hole he's dug for himself. -  Chapter 8

the hole being the blackmail set against him by Sukuna.

Gojo's behind you cursing at himself for being unable to tell you the truth. 

He's so scared that you'll never help him without the blackmail and, well, he has every right to be because you're pretty sure that if it weren't for those videos he has over your head, you wouldn't be doing any of this. - Chapter 9

the videos he's referencing is the original video from chapter 1 and the fake video he lied about with Suguru, but he can't tell the reader the truth because it's too twisted and risky (supports Gojo peeping tom theory).

He silences himself in thought. There are so many ways he could go about answering such a question but the possibilities of how you may react are endless. Plus, you're drunk and if he's going to admit or explain anything to you, it'll be while you're sober. 

"Because..." Gojo's voice gets so quiet that you almost don't catch what he says, "...I don't have any other choice." - Chapter 21

if he didn't go through with his list, Sukuna would have went through with Gojo's blackmail, thus resulting in either you getting as far away from Gojo as soon as possible or Sukuna's video being sent around.

He let something slip abruptly, "W-Wish I c-could tell you everything, sweets..." 

Your brows furrow at that. 

Are you missing something here? - Chapter 22

YES GIRL!!!! SUKUNA'S BEHIND THE WHOLE LIST, HE'S BEHIND THE BLACKMAIL GIRLYPOP

"Anything," Gojo says, meeting your gaze. He's so serious that it's almost dark the way he looks at you, "I'd do anything for you." - Chapter 29

"I meant it when I said I'd do anything for you." 

You follow his motions and then end up right back in his arms, "Right..." 

"I'd sacrifice the very thing I love just to see you happy." Gojo claims proudly. 

You scoff, "Thought' I was the thing you loved?" 

"You are." 

His words bewilder you, "Then that makes no sense." 

"It won't." Gojo shrugs. - Chapter 29

anything. even if it means putting your body, heart, mind, and career on the line. directly supports the theory that Sukuna initially had blackmail on the reader.

"We're the same, y'know..." He suddenly says, his voice breaking again, "We both want someone so terribly bad but our situations prohibit us from getting that person." 

"You could've prevented all this though..." 

Gojo sniffles and you feel a drop of wetness slide down his cheek and slip against your palm. The man was crying? Why? - Chapter 30

this whole time we've been told that Gojo and the reader share more similarities than the reader realizes. what Gojo is to the reader, the reader is to Choso. while Choso now knows of the men that the reader slept with, he doesn't know why. he doesn't know about you being blackmailed. you know that you had to sleep with these men. you don't know why. you didn't know it was because of Gojo being blackmailed.

"For loving me, Satoru. It's not a crime," You say, mocking a comment he made to you earlier, "You're allowed to love me. So, for that, and that only, I forgive you." 

Those words healed so many more wounds in his heart than you realized. It was like that was all he ever needed to hear. If Gojo's mistake was loving you and that's what caused this, then you forgive him. 

If in some twisted way, his feelings started the list, you forgive him.

COME ON NOW.

There’s so much going unspoken but the two of you knew what either was saying, you understood each other more than either of you realized. - Chapter 35

“Well,” Gojo sighs heavily and then draws your hands off his face, leaning down to you a bit, “Sometimes, sacrifices need to be made in exchange for one’s happiness.” 

“Are you telling me that all this was for the greater good?” You quiz as you raise a curious brow. 

“Something like that, yeah,” He shrugs. - Chapter 45

You tell him, “If I had one wish, it’d be that you did that from the beginning.” 

Gojo opens his mouth to say something but then he swallows his words down. He nearly fucked up. 

“All you had to do was talk to me,” Your shoulders raise into a shrug as you move a hand to the doorknob, “Things could’ve been different if you did.” 

“Even if I’ve been obsessed with you since the beginning?” He questions and he’s stepping closer to you again. He can’t possibly wrap his head around that possibility- 

You laugh a bit, “Especially if you were obsessed from the beginning,” You didn’t know it but that statement right there made the man feel as though his world was falling apart, loads of regret tumbling over him as he stares at you with wide eyes, “Satoru I think you forgot but, before all this started, aside from Shoko… I was lonely.” 

Gojo’s throat goes dry and he fails to form a response to that, “I…” 

“If you had just talked to me one time, and more than a hey or how are you,” The way your eyes soften, a slim sheer gloss of tears coating your gaze as you speak to him, “I would’ve fallen for you.” 

He grits his teeth, “Don’t tell me that.” 

“But it’s true.” You say. 

And just like that, Gojo was crumbling all over again. If only you knew how much he regretted everything after hearing you say that. - Chapter 46

if he had just spoke to the reader before all of this, maybe she wouldn't have gone to those parties, hooked up with those people, and caused whatever kind of blackmail Sukuna had on Gojo (or on her).

He wishes he could take it all back, his feelings for you included. If only he could go back and stop himself from ever being curious about you. That’s what started it after all. Because, at the end of the day, Gojo knew who you were before you knew who he was— hell, even before Shoko knew who you were. - Chapter 53

then what is the timeline of his obsession starting? has it been before Gojo? could his blackmail have taken place even before Shoko introduced you two, adding to the weight of the threat that Sukuna held over Gojo's head (regarding the peeping tom theory).

but there were certain parts that stumped me and my theories so i have some weird reasonings around them;

It's selfish of him and seriously fucked up but, he's said it before and he'll say it over and over again-- you're all he has. He made promises to everyone on that list, promises of delivering a woman to them at some point, and of course, he couldn't convince anyone he knew to do such a thing. 

So again, the situation with you just happened to be a coincidence. 

The problem is that Gojo hates that it's you. He hates that you're the one he ended up doing this to. - Chapter 8

Gojo's known to be a silly guy so it could make sense that he actually did promise these guys hookups for reasons unrelated to his blackmail. after all, he does have a reputation for getting people hookups. the coincidence is that Sukuna now has dirt on Gojo and wants to toy with him. by making the reader sleep with them the guys he coincidentally owes hookups to, he fulfills his role/reputation and relieves his debt at the same time. two birds, one stone.

A/N > As we later learn that some of the “debt” Satoru claimed to have isn’t real, we can also infer that his reputation & the promises he’s made to these men were done out of coincidence. Take Toji for example; tell me you can’t see an interaction between him & Gojo where Gojo gets a bad grade and wants to get it up so he taunts his professor with the idea of getting him a hookup & Toji would laugh it off considering Gojo’s reputation ;)

another thing that stumped me is why Gojo got so worked up with the reader referring herself as a whore, and the connection to Sukuna. my delulu reasoning is that once Sukuna threatened Gojo with blackmail by either of the two theories/methods i mentioned, Sukuna casually referred to the reader as a whore. that caused a major fight between the two, possibly even getting physical (which can refer back to the implication that Gojo has hurt people for the reader).

the fight could have increased the tension and severity of the situation, so Sukuna decides to add Choso to the list knowing how easily attached Choso gets. in chapter 5, the reader and Gojo were discussing the list and Choso specifically. Gojo was even noted to be relieved when the reader had mentioned that they'll just have to hope that Choso doesn't get attached, as he obviously holds deep feelings for the reader. Sukuna knows that by going through with the blackmail with Choso involved, Gojo most likely will not end up with the reader if Choso get attached and the reader reciprocates those feelings.

also, the counterargument that Sukuna and Gojo are actually friends/allies in this situation just doesn't sit well with me. it would make for a crazy twist but it just feels too out of character for Gojo. but then again, how would Sukuna specifically know about The F*ck List? but idk, it just feels so wrong to me. maybe i have too much faith in Gojo lmfao. after all, he has consistently shown a great dislike towards the guy since chapter 23. but maybe it's my denial speaking. i really don't want to think of Satoru going through this whole arc only for it to reveal that he truly is a piece of shit. pls don't do this to my pookie my heart cannot handle it </3

there's that moment after the reader fucked Sukuna that still messes with my brain. with my theories, my brain's thinking that he contemplated on collecting even more blackmail on the reader. for what reason? idk, to be an ass? to torment Gojo further and add more to his blackmail? but maybe he decided not to because he already has plenty of blackmail on the reader (if the theory of Sukuna having a video of her from way back then is true) and fucking her knowingly made Gojo pissed considering all the dirt Sukuna has.

so why can't Gojo tell her the truth now? why does he want to wait years in advance? maybe he's hoping that by that time, not only will you forget and not care about the situation overall, but maybe Sukuna will forget all about it as well. the chances of Sukuna holding on to the reader's blackmail for that long is slim and the reader would most likely be in a situation where she is completely separated from Sukuna depending on her job and living situation with Choso. the stakes are lower than if he were to reveal everything to you now, at a moment where your life is still so uncertain. it would go against his wish for you to end up happy.

Taking this insomnia as an oportunity to yap about the soulswap AU xD I was going to talk abt everything here but it got kinda long so I might make more parts about the other posts!!

First comic - how it started 🐱

Now... The existence of this + the fact it's my post popular post is funny and kind of ironic considering I've never really been one to enjoy -swap AUs but here we are xD

I got the idea in the beautiful daydreaming time before bed lol, and during a few weeks I was just kinda coming up with scenarios

So then I got the idea of making it into a comic, which honestly I didn't take that seriously at first bc I thought I wasn't actually gonna do it, but still I tried planning out in my head what I wanted the introducction "story" to be, how I could represent the actions through panels, and I even thought about the dialogues a lot and how to organize the speech bubbles, I'm honestly not one to like writing stuff down so I just memorized it all 😹

Soo yeah, one day I was just like "fuck it I'm gonna do it". (I just remembered I can use periods I'm sorry). This would be a personal project in which in the worst case I would have a ugly comic, and in the best it would be something I'm actually proud of, but either way the important thing for me was to actually try to do it and challenge myself with something I've never done. Lowkey also in spite of all the art ideas I've had in my life and never even attempted to create xD.

I think I decided to start like, exactly a week before my lasik surgery 💀 so I took that as a deadline to try to finish as soon as possible, otherwise I would be giving myself room to overthink it and probably scape it xd. Since I wouldn't be able to draw for a few days after my surgery, I also thought it would be nice to (lowkey unhealthily) put all the work into something I wanted to get done and go rest those few days feeling acomplished.

So I gathered a bunch of references, made a lot of my own got to drawing and suffered but also had fun lol. I'm ngl I just wasn't going out from my room bc I was either drawing all day or searching for references. Straight up forced myself to be an expert in drawing those two (jk I still can't draw them properly but at least it's a bit easier now).

I was really overthinking the chain of events that occurred before the comic so what was happening and what Hyrule said made sense lol. I ended up changing a small bit of the dialogue and I still think it doesn't make sense but no one thought about it (probably) so that's fine. I also had to change some panels so they would be an even number, it was had trying to keep it flowing correctly, honestly everything was hard!!! High respect to comic artists, I've only read a few comics and mangas so I honestly have no idea of what I'm doing.

Anyways, there isn't really a way to add text on procreate so I drew the speech bubbles kind of guessing the size xD taking into consideration the planning I had done about their placement. This worked for most panels but for some I had to import the page with the text and redraw it again. Took a bit but I finished the night before my deadline, it was so hard not to post it inmediately 😿 I told myself I'd wait until the next day bc maybe I could reach more ppl.

So yeah, I post it the next day. It very quickly got quite a few likes and reblogs, so I felt relieved to see it was getting well received! It was something unlike anything I've done before and an idea that would not be of everyone's taste so I hope you understand why I was a bit anxious 😹. I was reading your reblogs in the waiting room before the surgery and it helped me feel less nervous so xD thanks. And coming back after those few days to so many nice comments?? Beautiful.

I had to do some recycling because I was running short on time but it looks so stiff 😓 I wanted to change the angle or the pose but it was too late. The recycling just doesn't work as well here as in the last page.

Random facts:

-I redrew the bottom panel of the first page like three times bc I didn't like it and still didn't like the final one lul.

-In the first one I considered adding the fairy flying away but Idk.

-I decided to draw the weapons during the entire comic bc I'm insane. I don't recommend it.

-I had to do some weird stuff in front of the mirror and on the floor to understand what I wanted with certain poses 💀 honestly this is true for a lot of my drawings.

-I tried to keep details but if you pay enough attention you'll notice some inconsistencies lol.

-I remembered Hyrule's bracelet until I was almost done and decided he was just not wearing it that day ��

-Ig that the canvas was too big or smth but when I tried to watch the timelapse on my previous ipad the app would crash xDD. I have a pro now so I can actually watch it lol, I wanted to share a vid so you could see my messy ahh workflow but maybe next time bc I don't wanna turn my ipad on lol.

-I worked mostly in a single layer, cleaning up the drawings rather than trying to do lineart bc I knew if I did that it would look rly stiff and I was going to get stressed out. I rly aimed to get it done as best as possible in as little time as possible xD. It's not the greatest piece of art but it looks good enough. It was a rly interesting way to get out of my comfort zone.

Overall, this has been fun! And I'm glad to see this many people liked something I made. Embracing my cringe self and healing 💅.

so this sign exists across the street from my home and it feels very targeted

i have written a whole au and i will not be stopped (it may or may not be under the cut ;)

this sign is positioned in such a place that it is physically impossible to not make eye contact with it and for *weeks* it has plagued my mind and i literally can not be quiet about it.

everyone say thank you to @youllneverseeonascreen for entertaining my whims bc we have been yapping away about this au all week

- paul and darry had.. whatever they had in high school. it was good, it was beautiful, and however it ended, they both knew that if the other came around again, they wouldn’t mess it up this time

- well, the day finally comes

- paul gets his bachelor’s in business, but doesn’t really know what he wants to do with it, so he starts doing what everyone else does and works for his father. gets married, is miserable, and wants to get divorced, like everyone else does.

- once ponyboy graduates, darry manages to work his way through a junior college program with what he’s been saving and keeps working full time

- they meet on accident one day while darry is working on paul’s sister’s place (im stealing penny from my other au- check the tags for more abt her) and god it’s SO awkward but penny tells them that they should catch up over dinner and they’re both too polite to say no

- they manage to actually speak at dinner, it’s pretty tense and they don’t really want to be there but they don’t kill each other and by the end of it they might have even had…fun?

- i haven’t decided how long it’ll take them to get back together BUT eventually they start hanging out one-on-one pretty often and they finally have *the talk* and decide that they want to try again

- but plot twist! paul has a six-year-old daughter with his ex (there’s gonna be a PLETHORA of posts about her bc girly is my new hyperfixation and ngl) and one day they’re at lunch and paul has to do a swap and he just looks and darry and his heart DROPS and he goes, “oh, right, uh, this is stella :)”

- and of courseee darry is SO good with her and she loves him bc he’s basically like her fun uncle (send me asks about stella i dare you)

- a little while passes, darry and paul get closer and eventually want to move in together, buttt darry doesn’t want to leave his home so paul and stella move in with them

- everything is pretty awesome and they’re happy and in love but paul absolutely HATES his job,, so naturally one day he has the oh so smart idea that they should just start doing their own thing

- darry had been having problems with the leadership at his roofing job for a while (getting passed up for promotions, disrespect, etc.) and he basically knew his whole team would follow him if he tried to start his own venture

- paul uses his degree (and let’s face it: his parent’s influence and money) to get them a startup loan, and he runs things on the business side while darry and his team work on houses (like fixer upper but it’s like 1972 lol)

- over the years, darry managed to pay off the mortgage on the curtis house, and soda (and cherry OOP) can afford to stay there so darry isn’t worried about losing their family home, so he and paul eventually move into a bigger place for them and stella

- they might not make it out of tulsa, but they make the best of being stuck there, and they open up a building company

I always want to do this tag because it is such a lovely idea, I just never have something to show. It's kinda like this now too, but I have some ideas going for some Headcanon Lists.

First up, of course, one for my current obsession that is my OTP (Hvitserk x Aegon) - Although (if I am being honest) I don't quite know if I should post that at all xDD But I am very willing to share these three:

Aegon regularly steals Hvitserk's tunics (only the worn ones) because he loves his smell; he also stole Hvitty's favorite one and refuses to hand it back without a trade

(In another reality than FMF) Hvitserk has a daughter with Rhaena who is called Laena, Aegon has a son with his second wife called Rhaegar and they're Co-Parenting them; Laena actually prefers Aegon (and after Rhaena's Death) she actually calls him "Mommy"; Meanwhile Rhaegar prefers Hvitserk (who has been his swordmaster/nanny since he was 1) /// Aegon = Girldad and Hvitserk = Boydad confirmed

Aegon, as an aro, at first had issues reciprocating the "I love you" so they invented a pair of sentences to say instead: Hvitserk: "I fucking love you." Aegon "I love fucking you." Aegon eventually says it back, but they still use those occasionally

Yeah I keep it at that. Admittedly, most of them are very nsfw (I apologize and admit I have a problem, bye)

The other Headcanon list is about how the Friendgroups of each Ragnarsson would look like (I've talked about it in a different post that I think it's super weird that neither seem to have any friends outside of themselves). Ivar's reads as follows:

doesn't have a single friend to his name

He doesn't trust people that way (although he would really like to but he cannot even admit that to himself)

some are still afraid of him bc of what happened when he played with some town kids (his first kill...at 8...with 0 consequences (that we know of))

he prefers to lead the few who remain on and uses them to his own ends

So, yeah, that's it, unfortunately. I haven't gotten around to start writing for the new chapter of FMF. Last week was my birthday and I had no time and now I am very anxious about it bc it is a very important one....

Short update if anyone is still interested🫂

I've started outlining the story which will be divided by a short prequel (because I like the idea and it will add more nuance and a ✨️heartbreaking✨️ background) and then the main story.

Honestly, I'm still hesitant, some of the themes covered might not be for everyone and also the rating. I've seen stories being criticised for some of the themes covered or for being mature/explicit when all the necessary tags had been added to let people know in advance what the story was going to be about, and it leaves me extremely confused and upset for the authors it happened to.

It also makes me nervous ngl

Idk why I overthink so much about writing this story, it wouldn't be my first time posting on Ao3, but this fandom is so big that it makes me so nervous that I'm gonna end up with the bad side of the fandom.

Okay, I am sorry for this long rant for absolutely no reason it was just to update something I had written months ago lol. (And yapping bc I'm a dumb overthinker)

hey so this is gonna be a long-ish one. ive decided its been far too long since i did a session, and we did so many i can often forget what happened. i started in july and im pretty sure its been more than half a year now since this whole blog happened. and in that time, we’ve gone through 88 sessions and i want to know if i remember the relevant plot points and what we got up to in the last few sessions. a refresh/reminder if you would.

so i hereby commence my own little recap of act 5 because yeah no, its too much to do a recap of everything and i have andrew for that after every few acts. but i wanna refresh my mind on act 5 for now. so here we go.

1. alternia.. fucked up place. but its a place the trolls live on so what are we gonna do about it? overthrow the government? seems about right, lets do that with the next troll that gets introduced and if its not kanaya idk what andrew is doing by not having introduced the best troll yet. why the long wait? it was the second introduced? i honestly expected it to go in order when i first read act 5, because first we had karkat talk to jade which was the first new piece dialogue in the comic besides the main kids, but then we had kanaya with rose, which was followed by tavros, then terezi (iirc). so id assume we were following that order but nope karkat got fully introduced, then this random fucking juggalo called gamzee made its way into the comic. imagine my surprise.

2. theres been terminology throughout act 5, that i do not fucking know and will not remember and probably never will. like tf is a perigee again? i made a doc somewhere ill probably find it.

3. karkat’s introduction... short but very sweet. and by sweet i mean we got to know the depths of the angry edge lord. and by depths i mean karkat got angry at gamzee for typing in a way that he didnt like so he yapped like a chihuahua. nah, but seriously, i do like karkat tho, hes growing on me but only bc hes a bitch baby and his whole personality makes me want to mock him so thats the reason im not that annoyed and think hes funny, and the most harmless troll. even more so than tavros. and thats saying something. 7.5/10 bc im generous.

4. then gamzee... the high juggalo troll who has the worst typing quirk imo, i cannot for the life of me read it. but hes chill, i actually really like gamzee. hes funny and the least problematic as of right now. 8.5/10.

5. terezi’s introduction next i think. she likes playing as a lawyer with her stuffed dragons, ie by roleplay, shes blind, can see through licking, and she likes eating chalk, maybe its even nutritious. shes good. 9/10. 

6. uhh in the process of these intros, there are teams being made? karkat joins gamzee and terezi in, i THINK, the red team?? bc terezi likes red?? could be wrong, i dont remember the teams except that its red/blue to represent sollux’s duality in those colors. terezi then tries recruiting AC but AC is like lol sorry i have to ask this friend of mine who has authority over me for some goddamn reason and terezi goes yuck tf i hate that guy................... yeah thats all we have on the teams. pretty sure sollux had smth to do with karkat about the making of the leaders, and they did the “i hate me” and the “no i hate me more than u hate u” or whatever the fuck that was. they got embarrassed afterwards and deleted their messages. im pretty sure they have no messages because everything ends up being mutually deleted so their logs are actually empty. ngl, kinda enjoyed their convos, made me appreciate their characters. i hope we get more because its good content. i also dont know what order this whole thing is in, who contacted who first? couldnt tell you. ill remember later on. and since im basing this off from memory alone, gotta deal with what i remember. uhhhh so yeah. we havent met all characters yet so the teams have not been officially decided but we got the bases, which is that.

7. god i found it, and the only thing im looking at right now is the terminology list i made and what the fuck?? what the fuck?? you miss a few weeks and suddenly the word nubslurping comes up and you forget what the fuck youre reading.

8. im PRETTY SURE aradia is seen after that whole team fiasco?? or its sollux... maybe. wait. its sollux, right. i just knew someone gets introduced mid way through is all. actually, someone gets introduced after every 20 pages. i have no idea. but ik aradia and sollux go hand in hand.

9. oh shit. OH SHIT! RIGHT! I REMEMBER! so this occurs in the latest session i did, and not the beginning of act 5, but AG and aradia team up, right?? and sollux fucking gets manipulated by them and ??? idk??? they make him find the game, reprogram it and then make him believe its going to end the world (which in hindsight is true, but anyways) so he refuses to play it which was AG’s plan all along so she steps up and becomes leader in his place. but aradia says sollux will still play the game no matter what, but she never went through with the plan for AG but it was apart of a prophecy? that sollux wouldnt be the leader at all? that he’d still play? but it had to go according to plan so it could succeed??? we just dont know why yet. anyways, point being, she still cares for sollux since she did it for him rather than for AG. and thats what i recall. god tf i forgot about that whole drama until writing down “sollux and aradia go hand in hand” which gave me violent flashbacks to the memory.

10. oh and id give aradia 9/10 and sollux 7/10. i do like sollux but if i put him higher than karkat, id get crucified. so im keeping them around the same.

11. man i really like sollux and aradia tho, i may have put him at 7, but i really like their dynamic and i really hope they make up and aradia explains herself about AG. because from one side it looks shitty. and while sollux is rude and never makes up his mind, he apologized to aradia after going off, and that was the only time ive seen him be sincere, so im pretty sure he cares for her to some extent. and i think its somewhat mutual? considering the whole “did it for him” thing. man, i see potential because i actually like both their characters. theyre well written. may not have the best personalities, but i appreciate well written characters and homestuck has the best ones ive seen in a while.

12. oh shit, hell yeah, the more i write, the more im connecting the dots and remembering. however, the more i write, the more i want to just make an analogy post but thats not for now. jesus christ its not all about analogies, mack, this is a recap. but.. how does andrew do it? to not go off track??? hard. telling ya.

13. anyways, didnt we break the fourth wall at some point and have the demon gods or whatever the fuck speak to us in third person for the first time in the comic, after having only gone into second person narrative, right after we were introduced to sollux and his “virus”? the uh, the phrase “the demon was already here” was said, or something along those lines. first line in homestuck to give me the creeps ngl and i appreciate it bc it gives me motivation to know what the fuck its about. its cool bc you have no idea where its going and it sure doesnt have anything to do with the current plot, since the trolls’ session/game doesnt have fucking demons so im curious as to what the fuck that was about. and if i really have to make a theory, i feel it has something to do with aradia’s voices in her head which also connect to the gods rose heard when she started disregarding rules and told dave to look at derse without listening to music bc it was as if he was purposely blocking away their calls. like holy shit, that gave me the shivers. while i do want to know more about wtf happens after act 4, trolls are taking priority right now. just like we did with the intermission. no discussing the kids unless necessary. treat this as its own separate comic. and THEN we can connect.

ANYWAYS, tavros’ intro???? that comes afterwards?? with the fiduspawn that made me gag a little on the inside? yep. remember that. fuck that lol. -1/10 but tavros himself is MAYBE a 6/10? i wish we explored his character more in his intro bc right now he just looks like a character made only to be a victim rather than have any depth and i feel thats robbing someone of their full potential. give me more personality andrew, rather than a quivering boy who falls prey to bitches. im expecting more throughout the comic honestly and i hope he gets growth so hes not looked as a “victim” but rather his own character. he is still sweet, and i like him because i want to protect him, but id rather have more info, you know what i mean?

15. oh hell. kanaya had a chainsaw at some point. that made me happy. and didnt she cut off tavros’ legs?? and he got robot ones? and some creepy dude was looking and we called him saggy tits bc hes sagittarius? right? neat. that did happen. pretty sure saggy tits is ACs friend that tells her what to do. the more u know. OH and they all have colored blood similar to their text colors lol. that i remember... so tavros has brown, terezi has blueish green, um. karkat has grey the loser. and apparently it forms a rainbow which is nice. rainbow is good.

AG appeared. shes a petty bully. idk what to say about her. we didnt get that much, except that she hates tavros but is okay with aradia. she also looks like a bottle opener. actually, i think she teamed with aradia to gain leadership rather than to “be friends”. and while that is similar to how karkat did it, meaning the gain, the motivation and how they earned it is entirely different. kinda seeing a trend tho. the leaders of the red/blue teams are both characters who wanted the role, but never had it to begin with. only to win their way into the position. but rather than ask non-stop like karkat did, AG manipulated others so she could be successful. not too sure if she also used aradia for that, or is actually motivated to become friends since they were “past enemies” and she needed a rebound. pretty sure its somewhat both. while AG did mostly use aradia to speak with sollux, what she doesnt know is that aradia is a bad bitch who never even thought about AG and only followed through with the plan bc she had a plan of her own. i guess we’ll look into that later. i lowkey want to know their history.

OH AC!!! she appeared for a second as well. love her. shes amazing. 9.5/10. and you may ask yourself, why am i saying “i love this character” but none of them are 10/10?? weellllll its because, and i cant stress this enough, 10/10 belongs to kanaya, i dont make the rules. im waiting for her introduction, shes my favorite and its obvious. sorry.

19. oh huh seems i forgot about the term “lusus”. which.. is.. their parents but not really, its these fucking weird ass creatures that the trolls fought in a cave or something as a child. i dont fucking know. terezi hatched hers and it died? gamzee’s also died but his goat sea dad was never really there to begin with so while it is sad, its more sad that gamzee never saw him? um.. karkat killed his own by exploding his computer bc sollux said dont run the virus and karkat said u cant tell me what to do and did it anyways. so thats on him. but apparently theyre supposed to die, to become prototyped during the game, right? yeah. i remember now.

20. thats.. about it? idk anything else, nothing is coming back to me apart from the shit above. huh.... im surprised how quickly things do come back to you the moment you rant about the plot tho.... handy trick.

Hello!!! I suppose I'd like to start by saying apologies for any frustration my messy ass tumblr may have caused. I do most of my character development and infodumping on discord now, so my tumblr has gotten kinda neglected on account of me A- not knowing what I have and haven't shared on here, B- not having much motivation to collect thoughts and post on here, and C- not really expecting newer people to discover/care about him, which is kinda stupid ig lmao.

Otherwise!! I'll be sure to write out a big long yap about Elias's actual character and development, since I've been kinda intending to but just haven't had the motivation and keep forgetting. Again, apologies, since I know everything and yap about it sm elsewhere I don't really think about how confusing it may be. Uh, for basics/beginnings tho, I do have a fic for him, which I'm actually working on the next chapter for rn. Lanyon basically accidentally takes the HJ7 the night after blackfog and everything, and poof, Elias!

Design wise tho!! I made him back in March of last year, so before a decent bit of recent Lanyon development, and while he has changed a decent bit, he's still mosttttly the same designwise. Making him white honestly wasn't really an idea I had? Hyde retains most all of Jekyll's structure outside of his hair and body size, so I wanted Elias to still look very close to Lanyon but different enough that it wouldn't be "obvious". His skin is cooler instead of lighter or darker, mainly bc changing the color too much did feel a bit odd, but mainly for design and like,, logical reasons, I suppose. It just felt odd that the potion would completely change the color of his skin to such a degree, personally. His eyes are green bc of the potion, bc I'm simple like that 💔 they're also a different shape, for reasons I can't quite remember, ngl. I also changed his nose shape?? a decent bit?? Mainly bc I used to draw Lanyon a bit differently than how he was in canon bc my memory was off, but I've been fixing that in recent artworks. I made his hair blond bc I felt like the potion would have more of a bleaching effect on hair than a "recessive genes" type thing, plus it was just something unnatural and eye catching and messy. Uhhhh, clothes was a bunch of trial and error honestly, but I knew I wanted a messier and less "gentlemanly" style, hence the open collar. Higher society and expectations suffocate him, so why not let Elias breathe freely?

Also the "white Elias" joke image I mentioned in the tags was simply an edit someone asked for while I was messing around with colors on a piece I had drawn a while ago, lmao. basically saying "lol what if you gave him the ginger Lanyon color pallet" and it certainly looked odd, but still merely a joke.

Additionally!!! I love your design, he's very cute and squishable :33 your reasonings are also quite interesting /pos (your style is also very yummy)

Uh, once again sorry about the confusion, and sorry if even this is messy af. I'm a bit sick rn, so my brain is kinda blanking on words and a lot of information,,,,
