Heyo y'all! We're back, my tablet's still down so I've decided to focus on some fan audios that I've been meaning to make and so we're starting with one based on Noderum Records by ‪@penncilkid ! This was fun to get into and I had a blast so I hope y'all enjoy hanging out with this vamp!

This year alone I’d have to say Milo/Sweetheart (Redacted), Liege (NeXus), the whole vamp camp + Cher (also NeXus), and a few I haven’t written fics for would be Eritus, Nova, and Romeo (Noderum Records) (and no, i’m not just saying that because PK is the one asking) (this list also doesn’t include my own ocs, but i feel like that’s cheating?)

next contender is EASILY this hand kiss one shot with Milo/Sweetheart I’m talking like top five minimum

OKAY ACTUAL LIKE. TOP THREE SCENE CAUSE IM SO INDECISIVE:

This scene come from an unfinished fic (i have a feeling PK is gonna yell at me for this one) about Imp!Milo losing Sweetheart and becoming the same shell that Asher is. It genuinely is a fic I want to finish but never get around too.

Milo couldn't calm down as he and Asher were waiting for Sweetheart's call. He sat in the truck, leg bouncing mindlessly as he stared at the walkie between them. It’s been a while since their last check-in, and it was obvious that it was grating on Milo’s nerves.

“This is the longest part,” Asher reminded him.

“I know that!” Milo spat back. “Just because it is the longest part does not mean I can’t worry about them.”

“They’ve got this,” Asher tried to reassure him, but he was still in that fucking monotone. Milo wanted to strangle him.

“I know what they’re capable of,” Milo said through his teeth. “They are my mate, after all.”

“Then you should trust them.”

Milo crossed his arms, hands squeezing into fists. He had to look away from Asher, out the window, before he did something dumb. He took a few deep breaths before he responded. Asher doesn’t realize what he’s saying, he can’t. If he did, he wouldn’t have said it. However, Milo could not let this one slide.

“You saying I don’t trust them?”

“I’m not saying you don’t. Just that, at this moment, worrying is not going to help you,” Asher said.

“Oh, yeah, let me just stop worrying over my mate real quick, that is just a switch I can flip,” Milo seethed.

Asher sighed. Sighed. As if Milo’s feelings were a burden to witness. Milo started seeing red. “It’s not going to help you when it’s our turn to go in-”

“What the hell is up with you and interrogating me right now!?” Milo demanded. “Was anyone this much on your ass when David went after Tank?”

That shut Asher up. His jaw clenched and unclenched a few times, eyes straight ahead. But again, there was that indifference. “We don’t talk about him,” he said finally, voice low, a warning.

“Just because you have a death wish does not mean you get to pull others down with you,” Milo said quietly.

“I don’t have a death wish,” Asher growled.

“Well you’re doing a terrible job of convincing others of it,” Milo said. He shook his head, pushing the door open with more force than necessary, stepping out. “I need some air. Call me when they radio in.”

“Milo,” Asher started, but Milo wasn’t having it.

“You want me to stop worrying?” Milo asked, unkindly. He spread his arms, a challenge. “Guess what I’m doing? Not worrying.”

He slammed the car door shut.

The leaves crunched under his feet as he stalked away from the car. He could feel the heat coursing through his body. He was always upset at Asher for how he acted after David’s death, but this was new. He guessed it was just the extra stress of having Sweetheart out there practically defenceless. He should have never let them go on this mission. They shouldn’t even be here! What were they thinking? Any of them?

There was the sound of a door opening, and then Asher was calling after him. It didn’t take him long to catch up, grabbing his shoulder and spinning him back around. “What has gotten into you?” He demanded.

“Gotten into me?” Milo questioned, incredulous. “What has gotten into you?” He shot back, pushing against Asher. “Ever since we lost David and Tank, ever since you lost David, you’ve been miserable! You’re taking it out on the pack too, pushing us to breaking over and over! You’re miserable and because of it, we are too!”

“How come you haven’t mentioned this before, if I make you so miserable?!” Asher demanded.

“I have!” Milo yelled, stepping toward Asher so they were just inches apart. “I have, but you won’t listen! You always shut down every time I try and talk to you about it! I’ve tried to help, cause, fucking hell, you weren’t the only one who lost him! I miss him too!”

“You don’t know what it’s like to lose your mate,” Asher grits through his teeth.

“I don’t. I don’t even pretend I do, and I don’t want to find out,” Milo countered. He took a deep breath, heading back to the truck. Cause unfortunately they had a job to do, and even more unfortunately, his mate was currently in the middle of it.

He wrenched the door open, only to freeze in his tracks.

“Milo, please, answer me!”

29. If this were an awards show, who would you thank?

I’m gonna take this so seriously hold on a sec I have so much to share. Okay okay first and foremost I gotta thank my best friend Max because he is an irl and does intercept a LOT of my dumb fic ideas (and then encourages me) but also just because he’s the first person I’d go to for a beta that I can trust with my very soul (my writing + my feelings around it). I would also like to thank (who woulda guessed) PK because you have also been a huge encouragement, and always seem to talk me out of my imposter syndrome episodes. In general I’d like to thank the creators of the original content I am making fics for because although I am taking your content and making it my own (in some ways) the whole reason I wrote fics is cause y’all are there handing me the metaphorical building blocks. I’m also gonna thank my lovely mutuals cause while I don’t interact much (i’m so shy guys i promise i’m nicer once you brute force your way into my brain) I do love y’all (/p) and you’re also a huge motivation for me to keep writing ngl. I would like to thank specifically PK and Laveau though because genuinely these two were a big inspiration for me to continue writing in general (more on the oc side of things, but it counts. Also Max is in this list but if he doesn’t know that us two bouncing world building off each other isnt so dear to my heart we have a PROBLEM.)

Alright, since some folks interacted with the post now, gonna ramble about my speakers (miscellaneous things, I just miss them given how busy I've been /lh):

Jessalyn's experiences at HIVE are something I think about a lot. Even if they end up coming out a little later than intended, I have at least 2 in store for her as it pertains to her education. It's not touched on as often in audios, but it has been mentioned in canon that she attended a stagnant college prior to ever attending HIVE. Which is interesting because I think that alone amplifies a sentiment that hangs over her narrative: "Work twice as hard for half as much."

This isn't specific to a character but I adore my vampiric lore, primarily because NR vampires are "undead" in the traditional sense. It would be easier to argue that they exist in an altered state of living. It's why it is physically possible for a vampire to carry a child, provide there's medical intervention and assistance.

One thing I haven't seen many people discuss/point out is A) the canonical mention that Eritus is a Fallen Cupid (as explained in Romeo’s confession audio) and B) the fact that Eri holds no fear + seems to outwardly despite the Council without hesitation. It's an aspect of his character I think about often, especially given I'm aware of what led to his descent.

This has yet to be stated in canon explicitly but for those who are curious: Harley was turned in the early 1980s! And to anyone who's curious, he was in fact vivified prior to his turning. I won't reveal what classification he was yet but just know it wasn't Earth Derivative (despite them favoring that magic now)

This may be a bit of a surprise, but Solstice does know how to drive— in the sense that she could successfully move the vehicle from one location to another. However, you won't see them doing so, given they are painfully unaware of human traffic laws (/lh). // Inversely, Nova doesn't have a license nor know how to drive. If you have a guess as to why this is, you're probably right.

Hello all, I am here to formally celebrate:

The 2nd Stagnant Channel Anniversary!

To those unaware: Hi, I'm PK. I have a channel featuring narrative audio roleplay, and today mark's two years since I uploaded my first video! It feels surreal knowing I've stuck with it as long as I have and to see how much it's grown since that first video. I've met so many people thanks to this channel and feel I've grown exponentially as a storyteller. To anyone here who's supported the channel, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

That aside, I wanted to try and do something fun here since I've gotten some interaction with Noderum Records and such already. Consider this an ask game of sorts, one created to try and get me rambling about the channel in one way or another today (/lh). With that:

PK, I just want to say that Romeo has made a impact on my life in a way I can’t really describe unless we wanna be here all day but I just wanted to thank you for sharing his and Sunshine’s story. I absolutely adore the tenderness and care from both of them in the Confession video—the way Romeo understands Sunshine and how Sunshine never pushes him… AND THE VULNERABILITY???? dude I get so emo over them :’]
