Can Nokia 9 "Thanos Snap" The Competition?
Nokia 9 PureView: What to Expect?
HMD Global is all set to launch it's highly anticipated Nokia 9 Smartphone at MWC 2019. Earlier it was rumoured that we might get to see Nokia 9 with its Penta camera at CES 2019 which was a dream that didn’t come true. The reasons behind the delay of Nokia 9 launch event aren’t known yet but we're guessing that Nokia might have changed their mind and we might get to see Nokia 9 with 5G support.
Another thing that may have caused HMD Global to delay the release date of Nokia 9 could be Android Q availability for Nokia 9. HMD Global might be pursuing Google to provide Android Q support to Nokia 9 out of the box. But hey, these are just some arbitrary guesses from a tech analyst.
The Five Camera Set up:
Let's stop daydreaming for a while and have a look at the all leaked specs of Nokia 9 which are pretty much confirmed to be present in the Smartphone. The first and the foremost thing is the Nokia 9’s 5 camera setup a.k.a Penta camera setup or as we like to call it “Pentateuch camera setup”. As of now, the exact specs of these 5 cameras aren't known but as per sources, Nokia has said that the five cameras will take five different photos and combine them into a single final photograph providing 10× more light than regular cameras. It could simply mean that Nokia with its flagship Nokia 9 Smartphone is all set to take low light photography to the next level. It could also mean a headache for the rest of the major brands such as Samsung, Apple and OnePlus as they'll need to step up their game in the camera department with their new Smartphone releases if Nokia's 5 camera setup delivers as promised.
Tumblr media
Nokia 9 Confirmed Specs So Far:
Right now, Nokia 9 is set to come with Android Pie out of the box along with promised updates for two years under Android now Project. Talking about its chipset, Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with Adreno 630 GPU is expected to be equipped in Nokia 9 but there are still chances that HMD Global might go with Snapdragon 855 instead. Also, 5G support for Nokia 9 hasn't been confirmed by any source so far and we're left to wonder whether 5G support will be there or not. However, we'll definitely get to see 5.99” inches PureView 4K AMOLED display, UD fingerprint sensor, 6GB or above RAM and 128 GB or above storage variants for buttery smooth performance. Now all we can do is hope for the best and wait for Nokia 9 to be officially unveiled and unboxed.

New Post has been published on https://magzoso.com/tech/nokia-2-2-android-10-update-starts-rolling-out-hmd-global-announces/
Nokia 2.2 Android 10 Update Starts Rolling Out, HMD Global Announces
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nokia 2.2 is finally receiving its Android 10 update. HMD Global, the parent company of Nokia has started rolling out of the Android 10 update from Tuesday. This means that the Nokia 2.2 with the latest operating system will enjoy features such as enhanced privacy and security settings, Dark mode, smart reply, Focus mode, etc. Other Nokia smartphones will also get the Android 10 update in the upcoming months, as per the revised roadmap shared by HMD Global on last week, revised thanks to the impact of coronavirus.
The news on Nokia 2.2’s Android 10 update was also shared by HMD Global Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas on Twitter.
Last week, Sarvikas had announced that the Finnish tech company will revise its Android 10 update schedule on all Nokia smartphones owing to the coronavirus pandemic. As the roadmap had also specified that the exact Android 10 rollout date for Nokia smartphones may vary from region to region, “due to operator approvals and local variances.” We were unable to verify whether the update has been rolled out in India.
To check the Android 10 update on Nokia 2.2 smartphone, user can follow these steps: Settings > Advanced > System Update > Select Check for Update. Several Nokia smartphones including the Nokia 9 PureView, the Nokia 7.1, the Nokia 8.1, the Nokia 7 Plus, the Nokia 6.1, and the Nokia 6.1 Plus had received its Android update in the late 2019 and early 2020.
To recall, the Nokia 2.2 that was released last year came with Android 9 Pie. The phone was launched in India in March and was priced at Rs. 7,699 for the 2GB + 16GB version. Nokia 2.2 also came in a 3GB + 32GB variant of which was available for Rs. 8,699. Since its launch, the smartphone has witnessed several price cuts.
The dual-SIM (Nano) Nokia 2.2 came with a 5.71-inch HD+ screen and quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC. The phone also has a single 13-megapixel rear camera and single LED flash. On the front side, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Additionally, the phone packs 3,000mAh battery.

Towards the end of August, HMD released its roadmap for Nokia devices scheduled to receive Android 10. Best Android Phones in 2019, will you like to purchase?
After a sluggish few years in the Android world, 2019 has been a smash-hit for smartphone fans. We’ve already seen a few interesting phones with foldable designs, punch-hole displays, and as many as six cameras. These include the Samsung Galaxy S10, OnePlus 7 Pro, Huawei P30 Pro, Nokia 9 PureView, and many more.  But the year is still far from over. If you want to know more about the handsets you can look forward to, check out our list of the best upcoming Android phones arriving in 2019.
Best Android Phones in 2019
Pocophone F2  LG G8X  Google Pixel 4 series Huawei Mate 30 Pro  Motorola Razr foldable phone  Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 OnePlus 7T
1. Pocophone F2
Tumblr media
Xiaomi made headlines last year with the announcement of the Pocophone F1. The reason why was that the phone offered fantastic value for money. Starting at just 330 euros (~$370), it featured the Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB of RAM, a massive battery, and a dual-camera setup at the back.  This year, we expect the company to release its successor — the “Pocophone F2.” Nothing about the phone has been made official yet (including the name), but we expect it to follow the same recipe that made the F1 so successful. That means offering high-end specs at a price-point that undercuts the competition by a wide margin.  The Pocophone F2 is expected to offer a fantastic price-performance ratio.  We also hope the phone will come with NFC, a better design, and a few other things you can check out in our Pocophone F2 wishlist post.  The main problem is Xiaomi itself since it released the Redmi K20 Pro. The phone turned out to be the cheap Snapdragon 855 device Xiaomi fans have been waiting for. We don’t know where this leaves the Pocophone F2, but here’s hoping it’ll be a tweaked version for the global market.  Launch ETA: Sometime in 2019
LG G8X
Tumblr media
What we thought was the next LG V-series smartphone might turn out to be the rumored LG G8Xinstead.  Tipped to be a revamp of the lukewarm LG G8, the G8X reportedly features a dual rear camera setup, waterdrop notch, headphone jack, and an extra hardware button. Expected features include wireless charging, quad DAC audio, and some level of water and dust resistance.  We don’t see a rear or front fingerprint sensor, which means the phone might offer an in-display fingerprint sensor. Also not seen is the G8’s Z Camera (3D ToF camera). The sensor-enabled features like 3D face unlock, hand ID, and advanced gesture controls. That said, we don’t know if many people will notice or care — our own Eric Zeman though hand ID and gesture controls were “slow and unreliable” in his G8 review.  LG didn’t confirm or deny the G8X’s existence but hinted there are some truths to the leaks. LG will hold an event during IFA 2019 in Germany, so we should learn more then.  Launch date: September
3. Google Pixel 4 series
Tumblr media
The Google Pixel 4 series, which will likely consist of the Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL, is expected to make its debut in October. As we’re still months away from their release, Google hasn’t revealed much information. However, it has confirmed the phones exist and even showed off the rear design and camera after tweeting out an official picture in response to leaks and renders.  Google also confirmed two Pixel 4 features: Motion Sense and Face Unlock. Motion Sense uses the phone’s onboard Soli motion-sensing radar to enable hand gestures. That means you can wave your hand across the front of the Pixel 4 to skip songs, snooze alarms, and silence incoming calls, with additional functions arriving later.  Face Unlock also uses Soli, this time to turn on the Pixel 4’s face unlock sensors. Combined with software algorithms, the Pixel 4 supposedly opens as soon as you pick it up. Face Unlock works in almost any orientation and can also be used to authenticate payments and apps.  Thanks to a massive spec dump, we have a better idea of what to expect with the Pixel 4 on paper. Whereas the Pixel 4 reportedly features a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display, the Pixel 4 XL reportedly sports a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ display. Both AMOLED displays will have a 90Hz refresh rate, according to leaks.  Other rumored specs include a 2,800mAh battery for the Pixel 4, a 3,700mAh battery for the Pixel 4 XL, 6GB of RAM, at least 64GB of storage, the Snapdragon 855 chipset, stereo speakers, and dual rear 12MP and 16MP cameras. Finally, the Pixel 4 phones are expected to run Android Q.  Launch ETA: October
Huawei Mate 30 Pro
Tumblr media
Huawei announced the P30 Pro in March, which means the next flagship from the company to expect is the Mate 30 Pro. Huawei confirmed the Mate 30 Pro will launch in September or October.  Leaks have been few and small, but what we’ve heard so far sounds very promising. According to rumors, the Mate 30 Pro will feature a 6.71-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone will also reportedly feature the Kirin 985 processor, Balong 5000 modem for 5G connectivity, two 40MP rear cameras with a third telephoto sensor, a 4,200mAh battery, and fast wired and wireless charging.  We also expect improvements to the in-display fingerprint sensor and reverse wireless charging, along with Android Q underneath EMUI 10.  There’s a good chance the phone will feature a price bump relative to the Mate 20 Pro, with the base storage variant of the phone likely costing more than 1,000 euros (~$1,115). Then again, the company has also released a non-Pro Mate phone in recent years, so hopefully, that offers a similar core experience at a cheaper price.  Launch ETA: September or October
MotorolaRazrfoldable phone
Tumblr media
It looks like Motorola plans on bringing back the Razr series. The company is reportedly working on a foldable phone, which is expected to launch sometime this year. An exact date isn’t known, but the company said it plans to enter the market around the same time as its competitors. Samsung and Huawei have already revealed their foldable phones (although they aren’t available to buy), so Motorola can’t be far behind.  The Motorola Razr foldable phone (the name hasn’t been confirmed yet) reportedly folds vertically and features two displays. Based on a previous patent filing and firmware digging, it features a small display on the outside when closed and a larger display when opened.  Specs-wise rumors state that it will be a mid-range device sporting the Snapdragon 710 chipset, up to 6GB of RAM, and a 2,730mAh battery. It may cost as much as $1,500, but we won’t know for sure until it’s officially released. In the U.S., it may be Verizon-exclusive.  Launch ETA: Sometime in 2019
Xiaomi Mi Mix 4
Tumblr media
Xiaomi has generally launched an all-new Mi Mix device in the second half of the year, with the Mi Mix 3 launching in October 2018 and the Mi Mix 2 being unveiled in September 2017.  Aside from Xiaomi’s traditional timing, confirmation of the Mi Mix 4 reportedly came via a Weibo post from company executive Wang Teng. The now-deleted post apparently noted that the new Xiaomi phone will have a camera that’s better than Samsung’s 64MP sensor. Staying with the camera experience, a Xiaomi patent filing reveals the company is working on a periscope camera. Furthermore, the source of the news says it’s not out of the question for the tech to come to the Mi Mix series. In any event, we’re expecting the Snapdragon 855 chipset and a rather slick design (will it be a slider again?).  Launch ETA: Sometime in 2019
OnePlus 7T
Tumblr media
There haven’t been any significant rumors or leaks regarding a OnePlus 7T, but past years suggest that this could be the case. OnePlus has traditionally launched a T-series phone in the second half of the year, going all the way back to the OnePlus 3T in 2016.  This schedule might be in question after the company launched the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro back in May — bucking the trend of one phone for each half of the year. But what if the company does indeed go ahead with a T series entry in 2019?  It’s possible OnePlus will offer a OnePlus 7T and a OnePlus 7T Pro if it decides to issue new devices in the second half of the year. As for desired features, we’d love to see both variants offer camera quality on par with the likes of Samsung and Huawei, for starters.  A standard OnePlus 7T should also offer a more versatile rear camera setup, as opposed to simply adding a 5MP depth sensor. As for a OnePlus 7T Pro? We’d like to see a proper IP rating, wireless charging, and improved endurance.  Interestingly, OnePlus confirmed it’ll release a second 5G smartphone by the end of 2019. Even better, the phone will be available globally instead of in a few regions. Maybe one of the rumors 7T devices might be a global 5G phone.  Launch ETA: Sometime in late 2019
Android phones yet to be released
The handsets below have already been announced, but since they haven’t gone on sale yet we’re still including them on our list of the best upcoming Android phones.
8. Samsung Galaxy Fold
Tumblr media
Announced in February, the Galaxy Fold is Samsung’s first foldable device. It opens and closes like a book and features a 4.6-inch display on the outside and a 7.3-inch screen on the inside. The phone has six cameras on board, is powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset, and is 5G ready. It was initially scheduled to go on sale on April 26, but Samsung pushed back the launch date due to problems with the phone’s display.  Thankfully, Samsung seemingly resolved those issues and will re-launch the Galaxy Fold in September. However, the phone’s prospects are a bit murkier this time around — T-Mobile confirmed it will not carry the Galaxy Fold, with an AT&T launch still up in the air.
Huawei Mate X
Tumblr media
Huawei’s rival to the Galaxy Fold made its debut at MWC 2019. It features a single display that’s wrapped around the outside of the device and measures 8-inches when in tablet mode. The 5G phone is powered by the Kirin 980 chipset, sports a rear triple-camera setup, and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.  However, Huawei has yet to pin down a launch date. The company confirmed the Mate X will launch sometime between September and November, even though a report pegged a pre-November as “unlikely.” Whenever the phone launches, the 8GB/512GB version will retail for a staggering 2,299 euros (~$2,550). The phone isn’t expected to launch in the U.S. Read the full article

The device was supposed to launch at the end of last year but apparently some issues with the camera forced the company to indefinitely postpone the launch event. In case the device is launched in January, it may go on sale before the 2019 flagship smartphones start launching. Last month, an alleged promo video of the Nokia 9 PureView smartphone was leaked and it shared the information about the hardware and other known elements of the device. The video showed the phone featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor and sporting Android One branding suggesting that it could launch under Google’s Android One Program. Since 2018, Nokia has launched all its smartphones under this programme. The USP of this smartphone is said to be its camera with Zeiss optics. As per the video, users will be able to click photos with all the five sensors at the same time and the setup is claimed to capture up to 10 times more light in comparison with a regular phone camera sensor. The video shows that the camera could also enable users to adjust depth-of-field after a shot has been taken. This feature might be accessible from within the Google Photos app. The Nokia 9 PureView is claimed to feature a 5.99-inch PureDisplay display panel with 2K resolution and HDR10 compliance. It could feature an 18:9 aspect ratio with thin side bezels, thick top bezel and a chin. The phone is expected to ship with a metal rear panel with glass protection, suggesting Qi wireless charging support. Google has announced its next generation of operating systems will be renamed from Android Q to Android 10, completely ditching its usual desert name scheme for OS up until this point (Android Oreo, Nougat, Pie, etc.) As a result, Google is also redesigning its logo for Android to a “more modern, accessible look” to reflect its new outlook. In a blog post, vice president of product management for Android Sameer Samat stated “As a global operating system, it’s important that these names are clear and relatable for everyone in the world. So, this next release of Android will simply use the version number and be called Android 10.” He continued “We think this change helps make release names simpler and more intuitive for our global community.” The operating system was originally previewed in March where a demo was available at Google’s annual I/O developer conference in May. Its strongest selling point appears to be its privacy features, introducing more granular location controls and a dedicated privacy section in the settings app. The OS is also poised to support foldable phones, improve launch time for apps, and include gesture-enabled navigation. Although there’s no date for when the operating system will be available, Nokia plans to update its Nokia 7.1, 8.1 and 9 PureView phones in Q4 of this year while Android intends to update 14 additional phones in Q4 2019 as well as the second quarter of next year alongside its new logo. In other tech news, new details on the rumored iPhone Pro, new iPad, and 16-inch MacBook have surfaced. Article is from: https://hypebeast.com/2019/8/android-q-operating-system-android-10

Honor View 20 release date, price, news, and features
Confirmed with a 48MP sensor and coming in January
Tumblr media
The Honor View 20 has been fully announced in China (as the V20) and it's going to be one of the very first phones of 2019... but it's packing more firsts than that. It'll have a 6.3-inch 'All-View' display and there's a 48MP camera on the rear, with a Kirin 980 CPU inside and a new, eye-catching display on the rear. We got up close and personal: check out our Honor View 20 review We'll also be adding to this article as soon as we hear anything new, so make sure to check back regularly if it's a phone that you think is worthy of a place in your pocket. Cut to the chase
What is it? The successor to the Honor View 10
When is it out?  January 22, but earlier in China as the V20
What will it cost? Likely upwards of £449 (around $580, AU$800)
Honor View 20 release date and price
Coming January 22 (launched December 26 as V20)
The Honor View 20 is set to be announced officially for the worldwide market on January 22, as Honor has sent out invites for a launch event on that date. However, it's already been shown off on in China as the Honor V20 at an event on January 26. Even before the confirmation, we were pretty sure this was going to be the View 20. After all, the Honor View 10 was announced in December 2017 then went on sale in January 2018.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
As for what it will cost, there's no news there, but it's likely to cost at least as much as the Honor View 10, which launched for £449 (around $580, AU$800).
Tumblr media
That moon is a not so subtle hint at the pinhole camera Honor View 20 design and screen
Tumblr media
An all-screen front
A 1080 x 2310 resolution
As mentioned, the Honor View 20 has a 6.3-inch all-screen front with a pinhole camera in the top-right of the screen. It also has minimal bezels all around the handset and is a darn sight cleaner-looking than phones with a notch. It's packing a 2310 x 1080 pixel mix, and it's an LCD option too, in order to allow for the pinhole camera in the front. That's been built into the layers of the phone's display itself, which would be tougher with OLED technology. Huawei is Honor's parent company, and the two do share a lot in terms of technology and design - so the recently-launched Huawei Nova 4 looks similar too to the Honor View 20.
Tumblr media
It's not the highest resolution out there, nor is it using the most innovative screen technology for the display - but the lack of notch is certainly striking and going to turn some heads. The rear of the phone has the same 'cracked light' design as previous models, but instead of distorting all over the place it's slipping downwards in a kind of flying V formation, complete with neon too.
Tumblr media
It's something of a head-turner, which is necessary when the front of the phone is over 91% screen. However, the bad news for the clumsy: the Honor View 20 isn't water resistant to the IP67or IP68 levels of its flagship rivals - so best avoid swimming with this one. Honor View 20 camera and battery
Tumblr media
48MP single sensor
3D Time of Flight sensor
25MP front-facing camera
We now know that the rear of the Honor View 20 is going to have a large sensor: the biggest out there at 48MP. That's huge, and comes thanks to work from Sony to push the boundaries of what's possible with the sensor and that many pixels inside. Do we need a 48MP camera? The Nokia 808 Pureview was the last phone to break the barrier at 41MP, all the way back in 2012. Since then, only Huawei has come close to this number, with the 40MP in the recent P20 Pro, which made up the three camera array. However, Honor has gone one step further by bringing the 48MP camera - using the 1/2-inch Sony IMX586 sensor unveiled earlier this year, one we've been waiting to see which brand would blink first and put it in its phone -  which it claims can take 'top quality images'... a lofty claim with a camera offering that many megapixels. Whether it'll be the first to market remains to be seen though, with Xiaomi claiming to be bringing a 48MP camera on a smartphone in January. Wait, isn't bigger better? The thing with the smartphone sensor is that it's not the same as a DSLR: the space for the technology is pretty small, so there's a smaller space for the light to hit. The more megapixels packed in the the less light can hit the sensor. It you think of every pixel as a window that needs a frame, and that frame can't capture light, you'll see that more frames are going to make it hard to get a bright, clear image.
Tumblr media
A sample image with the 48MP sensor - the bright areas are slightly overexposed but the quality is high That's why we've seen a drop in the megapixel arms race of late: smartphone manufacturers have stuck at around 12-16MP, as this is seen as the 'sweet spot' of size of sensor, enough megapixels to take a sharp image and enough space to capture great low light snaps. The low light question is the one that Honor is going to have to answer here - the images it showed to highlight the prowess of the sensor are all rather brightly-lit, so only if the 48MP sensor can perform as well in darker conditions will it be judged a great snapper.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Sony, the maker of the sensor, claims to have put together some pretty advanced technology to help improve the output of the camera, despite the pixels being around half the size of those in a 12MP camera. However, there is reason to believe that this might well be the case, as parent company Huawei has made great strides in adding in strong image recognition into its smartphones, meaning it can take multiple exposures and scene types and work out the best possible image from them, leading to the Huawei Mate 20 Pro being dubbed one of the best camera phones on the market. Other brands, like Apple and Google, are using image processing to improve the quality of the image, so if Honor has managed to create a way to monitor and enhance its snaps, the promise of top quality and incredibly sharp images could well come to pass. The rear of the phone also has a Time of Flight (TOF) sensor, which allows users to scan an object, such as a cuddly toy and see it come to life. It'll also allow for more depth-of-field tracking in real time, but we've yet to really see what plans Honor has for this, if any. The front-facing camera is a 25MP affair, which is going to give you some sharp selfies - although whether, again, they're any good in low light remains to be seen. We'll be seeing a 4,000mAh battery inside this phone too, in order to give it some real juice over the course of a day or two. That's up from the 3,750mAh of the Honor View 10 in 2017. We've previously heard it'll have super-fast charging up to 40W - a certification from a Chinese body, noted by GSMArena, says it will support 22.5W charging too, but that's yet to be confirmed. Honor View 20 OS and power
An octa-core Kirin 980 chipset
Android Pie and EMUI
Honor has confirmed that the Honor View 20 has an octa-core Kirin 980 chipset. That's the chipset you'll find in the likes of the Huawei Mate 20 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro. It's also likely to be used in the Huawei P30 range, so it's top-end. It'll be bringing between 6GB and 8GB of RAM, along with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage - which is pretty impressive given we're expecting something of a lower price still for this handset. As for the operating system, it's running Android 9 Pie, and it's got a forked version of Huawei's EMUI interface on top - this is Magic UI, which is basically just an AI-infused version of the software. That said, YoYo (the AI assistant) is only for China right now, so the rest of the world might end up getting EMUI once more. Linking the turbos
Tumblr media
The other tech that Honor is talking up to use in the View 20 is its new Link Turbo system, which uses 4G and Wi-Fi connections together to provide the fastest possible download speeds for users. This is nothing new, as for years we've had phones capable of combining the two connections, but Honor is claiming that it'll use artificial intelligence to work out when and how to switch or combine the download options to provide the fastest speed. This will include analyzing a user's behavior, as well as the standard monitoring of network speeds, to bring the speediest downloads possible, although it's hard to see how knowing what a user is doing could do much to boost the speeds if WiFi and 4G are already being combined.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
The tech is going to be used in the View 20 but also coming to the Magic 2 as well - although for some reason not all the features are going to be used. The Honor 11 is also probably coming soon

Coronavirus outbreak has affected multiple industries across the world, with the tech industry being one of the worst-hit. Not only the has hardware side of the business has taken a hit, even the software part has also suffered significantly. Now HMD Global, the Nokia mobile brand licensee, has also announced that it will revise its Android 10 update schedule on all Nokia phones owing to the COVID-19 outbreak. The announcement was shared by HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas on his official twitter account, along with an image of the new roadmap, which shows that a bulk of Nokia smartphones will receive the update in the second quarter of 2020. To recall, the original roadmap had first been unveiled in December.
In a post on Twitter, the HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer shared the revised Android 10 update timeline for all Nokia smartphones, which shows that the company has pushed the update for most of its smartphones to the second quarter of 2020. He further said that the company still aims to be the fastest brand to update its whole portfolio to Android 10.
While we have taken all the steps to fight COVID-19, we still aim to be the fastest brand to update its portfolio to Android 10. Although our schedule changed a bit, we’re proud to announce a number of phones will be upgraded soon and excited to share our new roadmap: pic.twitter.com/nKEYSkI8Ow

Back in August 2019, when Google announced the Android 10 update on all Pixel devices, HMD Global was the one of the first company to jump on the bandwagon. It had said that all Nokia phones will get the Android 10 update in the coming few months from August 2019, and then released a more detailed timeline in December.
However, that plan was never materialised completely and now the coronavirus outbreak has delayed HMD Global’s plans even further. According to the new timeline, 13 Nokia phones will receive the Android 10 update in the second quarter of 2020, while the first quarter will only see the Nokia 2.2 getting an Android 10 update. Other phones due to receive their Android 10 update at the end of Q1 2020 are the Nokia 2.3), Nokia 3.2, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 7.2, Nokia 6.2, Nokia 3.1 Plus, and Nokia 8 Sirocco. Phones due to get their update in Q2 2020 are the Nokia 5.1 Plus, Nokia 1 Plus, Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1, Nokia 5.1, and finally, the Nokia 1.
In late 2019 and early 2020, the company rolled out the update several of its smartphones, namely, the Nokia 9 PureView, the Nokia 7.1, Nokia 8.1, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6.1, and the Nokia 6.1 Plus.
The new roadmap also said that the exact Android 10 rollout date for Nokia phones may vary from region to region, pertaining to operator approvals and local variances.
