Ok, but I actually think this was an incredibly subtle way of showing something really important about the way both Style and Sky feel about Fadel and Prapai on an instinctive level.

In both Style and Sky's stories, their dads are the only parent still present in their lives (Style because of his mother passing; Sky because of his mother leaving). Moreover, to both of them, their recovery from their respective traumas figure their dads in some very significant way. So their dads are incredibly important figures in their lives that they associate with safety, comfort, and protection.

And in both these cases neither Style nor Sky should be associating Fadel and Prapai with those feelings at all: Style, because he knows Fadel is a killer, one he is actively lying to and who has a reason to hurt him if he finds out. Sky, because of his misgivings about Prapai's motivations at this point in the narrative.

Yet in these moments of semi-wakefulness (Style is still mostly asleep; Sky is running a very high fever), they both hear a voice that should be unfamiliar and cause confusion and anxiety and instead call out to the one figure in their lives that they have always been able to rely on.

And yes, Style and Sky are in very different places in their respective narratives with Fadel and Prapai, but I just love how this little writing choice shows us that -- despite all their respective circumstances suggesting otherwise -- on some deep, subconscious, and intuitive level, our boys both heard a voice that sounded like the call of home.

I'm so mad because I have four, again FOUR fully planned out and almost completely sketched Sangihun comics of varying sizes and I just don't know where I'm going to get the time to finish all of them. Because they're all so Good let me tell you. And I love all the ideas and I desperately want to finish them all right now!!! But they are So Big and I just. I've never drawn this much fanart that isn't just one picture but instead a whole comic for anything. Like this is getting out of hand and I have More ideas but I just can't be starting Another comic

On Epic the musical being Odyssey Hamilton... people didn't immediately think that? Like younger people who weren't in fandom spaces during Hamilton's initial boom I get why that comparison would be lost on them but the moment I learned Epic was a musical it being "Hamilton but based on the Odyssey" was my first impression.

i mean listen, i drew the connections p quickly and i want to belief everyone else did too, bcos it's very obvious to me. but i haven't seen it mentioned even as some ppl around me got really really into epic, and if i have learned one thing, anon, it is that my experiences and views of things like media are NOT universal.

Although not yet completed, this is a bit of a shorter story that I recently found & enjoyed!

Once again, the author introduced me to a concept that I haven't seen done before, having the Corruption be a parasite that's taken over Nightmare's body!

The way that the author executes the concept is interesting as well, & very much hooks you in, making you want to read more!

Spoilers ahead!

I really like how the author has Passive interact with Phantom Papyrus, who, although he is actually a ghost, is believed to be a hallucination by Dust!

I also like how the author switches between different point of views, meaning we get to see what the characters think about the situation!

Although it hasn't been updated in a few months, I'm really looking forward to what author has in store for the future!

Since Mags’ real name in the comics is now Max, maybe the comics Magneto/Xavier ship name could be Maxavier and Cherik can be used as the ship name for the movie version of the ship!

months later and yeah no i still dont think max is ever going to truly catch on with the community- at least not enough to replace 'cherik' as a label for the pairing

one day there WILL be a black girl in a fanganronpa that will be a survivor and/or be desired as a love interest to somebody. one day there will be a black girl who wont be treated as the side character or the support girl throughout the series until the last minute. she will be explored more before its too late. Just finished watching Black Hawk Down, for the first and absolute last time (nothing about this movie was made for me, couldn't even really enjoy Mr. Hartnett with him being so Baby™), in order to complete a request. I'm going to try and knock it out today while everything is fresh because I did not enjoy this movie at ALL and I have no desire to watch bits of it over and over for the sake of keeping his character...well, in character, like I usually do in my writing process. BTW, if I've been tagging you, and you aren't interested in this one, I one million percent get it, and I'll see you on the next one...which will probably be something horny, because I really need that after this.
