I think it��s funny when people say Sofia wasn’t developed enough or there wasn’t enough for them care about her…like I genuinely thought she was going to get less than what she was given.

In s3 I was fully prepared for her to have like one scene serving Rafe as a waitress in the country club and they share maybe one conversation. And when I saw the first pic of her waking up in his bed in his shirt I screamed!! Like yes they had sex?!?! Already??

And same with s4. I was excited but I genuinely thought she’d get the same treatment as Barry in the sense that she’d only showed up in scenes with Rafe. But when we got to see her bedroom? Her family? Her life outside of Rafe? I was ecstatic!! Like finally a side character that I’m irrationally obsessed with is getting something!!!

And even her relationship with Rafe, I wish we got to see them get closer, but from a purely superficial perspective: TWO kiss scenes? TWO ‘I love you’s? A morning after scene? A bunch of hugs? Him dressing her? A PROPOSAL? Like damnnn…thank you universe.

Though I agree she wasn’t as developed as she could’ve be, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t happy with what I was given– my expectations were so low. I’ve had experience favouriting the irrelevant side character in many stories and it’s not often I win😭

I loved the fic for your Syren and was wondering if there would be more of this series? I would love to see how the world would be or how the characters would act while interacting with Syren🤩. Like, would Fizz would talk to her a lot since she knows about his relationship with Ozzie and treats him with respect? Things like that, but if not, that’s totally fine since I’ll just continue reading and supporting your other works😁

- Fizz adores having a friend to talk with and rant to when he needs it. Sure, he has been very upfront and honest with Ozzie about damn near everything, but he worries Ozzie will only tell him what he wants to hear and not what he needs to hear. In times like these, he seeks out Syren to get an outside opinion on the matter. He trusts Syren to be honest with him and not just try to make him feel better. She is both honest and gentle when it comes to these interactions, not blowing sunshine but looking at the objective and the facts all while talking Fizz through things.

- Ozzie will go to Syren if he ever wants to learn something or be taught something. He is embarrassed going to anyone else and trusts Syren to properly educate and not tease or hold it over him. Upon meeting and really getting to know Fizz, Ozzie asked Syren to teach him sign language so he could communicate with Fizz when Fizz is being non-verbal. Syren learned the signs herself then taught Ozzie so he and Fizz could still communicate even when Fizz is struggling and at his lowest.

- When Fizz was too nervous to talk with Ozzie about a pain in his broken horns, he went to Syren first to seek proper care and help. Ozzie would have happily done it, but Fizz is sensitive when it comes to what remains of his body after the fire that took his limbs. He trusts Syren to keep his secrets and take care of him without judging or pitying him.

- Syren was raised to be everything Ozzie could possibly need and to take care of Ozzie however possible. This means that out of all imps and demons, very few know more about Ozzie than Syren. Ozzie does not need to be the all powerful king of lust around Syren and he appreciates that because it means he can be himself and feel his feelings without having a single emotion of shame or judgement from her. There is a reason the Sins are so particular when it comes to their Blood-line imps and why there are even blood-line imps in the first place.

- Ozzie and Fizz trust Syren to keep their secret because she keeps every other secret for them. Whenever one or the other has a need for a friend or of support from an outside source on their relationship, they turn to Syren to help them.

- Ozzie calls Syren by the nickname 'Ren' or 'Ren dear' at most times, only calling her Syren when he is issuing a serious order or in front of the other Sins. Beyond those few times, Ozzie genuinely sees Syren as his closest confidant. He will tell Fizz almost everything, but some business between the Sins could put Fizz in danger and so Syren is the only one he discusses these matters with. This unwavering trust is why Succubi/Incubi, imps, hellhounds, and all manner of demons respect when she comes knocking or when it comes to assigning tasks in the palace.

- Many demons are envious of Syren and how close she is within the inner circle of the sins and their confidants. Blood-line imps are seen as above other imps given their primary role to their respective sin, but this means they are also seen as sellouts who wish they were sins. The truth is Syren was born and raised to be there for Ozzie no matter what, and she is happy to be the one he comes to when times are tough.

- Syren has been kidnapped before by envious demons or greedy demons looking to make a big score with Ozzie. She is of the firm belief that Ozzie need not worry when it comes to these kidnappings, but he is still quite stressed by them. More often than not, Ozzie will go and retrieve Syren himself should things seem dire for the imp. He and Fizz both genuinely care for her and find it as a personal attack when she is taken. Those who take her don't realize how far either one will go to retrieve their close friend.
