So, a certain android convinced me to make a Tumblr. God knows why, considering no one from my time even gives it so much as a thought, much less knows how or why it's still around, but... Hey. Anything to get me to socialize, I guess.

Since introductions are obligatory in these parts...

My name is Samara Alba, and for the last four-or-so years, I've been Earth-3185 and New Orlean's one-and-only Spider-Voodoo.

I was captured and used as an attempted sacrifice in one of Octavius Malisse's many rituals when I was trying to find my boyfriend, who at the time had been missing for three months, and the wrong God decided to crash the party. Together, the Voodoo God of trickery and wisdom, Anansi, and I act as one to keep the streets of New Orleans safe.

I've been told in the past that whatever hand fate gives you, you have to play it. But I disagree. If there's something you truly want--that you truly feel should be different, for better or for worse... I'd say that it's our right to fight for that change. And I'm gonna keep fighting that fight, until I die. I probably will.

But until then, I'm living life by my terms.
