#OTP: SELA & DABI ( CREATEINFINITY )

they were a product of one (1) spur of the moment decision made by sela pretty early in them knowing each other. sela , and most of the police force , was already put on the case and look out for LoV members and anyone they suspect might be a member. there was a call in for some commotion caused by a few of the members , dabi was one of them. and there was a moment where she and her partner had to split up , so she was either going to go after him or toga. she ultimately decided to go after dabi because she was certain she could catch him with a bullet and ... well ... their story began.

there have been a handful of times she wanted to admit to her partner that she was in this weird relationship with dabi , she wanted to turn herself in. her morals were , and continue to be , constantly at a head with each other. but she’d chicken out and , well , she didn’t want to spend time in jail. she compromised by saying that , she’ll go for everyone else. it’s okay , because she’s still trying to capture everyone else ... the bad thing is that , if she gets to the scene and dabi’s there , they have to interact and ‘ fight ‘ to make sure the other doesn’t get hurt by their comrades , so ... this thought process is still flawed. but , hey , it’s what helped keep them together. 

sela’s a bit in love with the fact that she gets to see a more domestic and softer side of him. granted , he’s still an ass and still absolutely can drive her mad , but ... he can be surprisingly gentle and doesn’t push so much onto her as she had expected him to do. which was truly another factor into why she ultimately ends up falling in love with him despite herself. every soft kiss , gentle touch , hug , cuddle ... every show of affection that isn’t meant for s*xual reasons pushes her further and further into falling in love with him. 

she gradually adopts his name , touya , into her vocabulary up until it’s just the name she uses to call him. of course , she doesn’t do that until that initial time she does that i won’t mention here for uh , well , you know :eyes: reasons. so !!! it becomes this thing that , if she does call him dabi , he knows that she’s probably upset with him. but , she likes calling him touya because not only does it mean that he like , really trusts her and what not , but it gives her the freedom to kind of just ... say his name , can talk about him. because it’s ‘ dabi ‘ who’s wanted ( or was wanted , depending on how long it’s been ) not touya ... she favors things that makes their relationship just that much more ‘ normal ‘.

        “ obviously , you seem like you gamble every fucking thing in your life. “ she speaks , freely and truthfully. their relations already a big enough proof of that. not only just the nature of it , but the fact that he had even attempted to woo her and continue to put himself in her way. then there was the nature of it ; one slip up and both of their lives are changed drastically. 

        “ ... is that your life motto there ? is life too boring if you aren’t at the brink of danger ? “ she thinks it sounds tiring , or too stressful. sela found a place in being in dangerous situations , but it was not her home. ... but she figured , for a villain , life pushed them to find comfort in these kinds of things. life and their own decisions.
