When the Baby of Yuu is Born

• If we're talking about the birth itself, I think it would have happened sometime between books 6 and 7. I already mentioned that when Yuu arrived in Twisted Wonderland, she was already a month or two pregnant, so by the time those events occurred, Yuu should have been around 8 months at most. Besides, with the stress of the situation, the baby probably came out prematurely.

• Obviously, I don't think Yuu would have participated in the same way in book 6 because of the pregnancy, but let's just say that once they reached dry land, her water broke, to everyone's horror and concern.

• Riddle was the only one who more or less kept his composure and sent the others to get things for Yuu while he and Adeuce took her to Ramshakle (and Grim brought Crewel, the closest thing they had to a doctor). Ace, being Ace, had Crowley give Yuu his hand so she could squeeze it with all her might (it was cathartic and extremely necessary, thanks Ace), and the other students were calling doctors, bringing things like healing potions in case things went wrong, etc.

• It was chaos in short. The labor lasted approximately 8 hours (with luck, it could be less or MORE hours), and Yuu ends up giving birth to a beautiful baby girl.

• All the panic finally dissipates when the students hear the baby cry for the first time—a loud cry of a healthy baby :,)

• Of course, as soon as everything calms down, Crewel and Trein kick everyone out of the dorm so Yuu can have a few quality days alone with her baby (the only one who can stay is Grim).

• The first few days of motherhood are quite pleasant, fortunately. The baby is healthy and strong, she doesn't wake up much at night, and when she does, the ghosts try to entertain her so Yuu can sleep (unless she has to be fed).

• Yuu also doesn't have to worry about bringing food; several students leave things at Ramshakle's door so as not to bother her with visitors (food, blankets, clothes, etc.).

• Grim is definitely quieter than usual when the baby is born. He's partly afraid that Yuu won't love him anymore or considers him dangerous to have around the baby. But when she offers to say hello and introduces him as a BIG BROTHER... yeah, you can bet Grim cried in Yuu's arms and the baby for a looooong time.

• Riddle is one of the first allowed to visit, and he brings a ton of gifts from the Heartslabyul students (Cater, Trey, and Adeuce). He's the most tense when it comes to interacting with the baby at first. Even though he's taken all the necessary sanitary measures, he's so afraid of doing something wrong. But when Yuu helps him carry her properly and the baby sits comfortably in his arms, he melts.

• He invites Yuu over for tea more often (either to catch up on studies or because he sees that Yuu is really stressed), with the baby, of course! The students in the dorm are happy to take turns watching her so Yuu can have some quiet time. I'd say Riddle still sees Yuu as a sort of maternal/older sister figure, only now his protective instincts also extend to the baby.

• Leona is probably the last one to realistically meet the baby. He doesn't have a good relationship with the children (he can barely stand Cheka), and even if he doesn't say it out loud, he doesn't want to feel left out now that the baby is finally born (mainly because he knows it's a shitty feeling for a shitty reason). Leona only gets to meet Yuu's baby when he stumbles upon her by chance at the botanical garden (not because Yuu was looking for him and Ruggie ratted him out, not at all).

• Leona isn't very patient, but he definitely makes sure the baby is in good hands if Yuu can't watch her for a couple of hours (probably making Ruggie do all the work), preventing the baby from doing stupid things once she starts crawling and putting things in her mouth (no herbivore, don't eat dirt—or toys! You almost look like Ruggie). he acts like he doesn't care, but he'll jump out of his seat if he sees the baby with something in her mouth that shouldn't be there.

• Azul, along with the twins, have probably never seen a human baby up close—they're so small! Floyd is probably one of the first people to visit Yuu and her baby—even Jade mentions it to him when they go to Monster Lounge—and they’re surprisingly careful with the baby, especially Azul, who holds her like she’s made of glass.

• I imagine that when the baby starts walking, Yuu gets so stressed out from taking care of her AND being Crowley’s errand girl that she forgets to eat. To solve this, Azul implements something new at Monster Lounge: a baby menu! The catch is that Yuu also has to order something to eat FOR HERSELF ;) no shrimp will go hungry in their watch.

• KALIM ABSOLUTELY LOVES THE BABY! Although sadly, he couldn't take her to Scarabia because she cried so loudly during the festivities. Kalim is an EXPERT at putting babies to sleep (again, this guy has 30 younger siblings) and can play with her for HOURS. Meanwhile, Yuu and Jamil get a much-needed break from their two hyperactive children.

• I'll just say that Yuu will be lucky if her baby doesn't have a whole festival dedicated to her birthday thanks to Kalim. That, and now her food stash is stocked to the brim thanks to Jamil and Kalim (and probably some money, but shhhhh). Kalim just wants to help in any way he can.

• I like the headcanon that Vil is good with kids; by extension, I think he finds Yuu's baby absolutely adorable. Sure, he keeps a certain distance from the baby and himself because of his clothes (and also because he doesn't know what effects makeup could have on such a young baby), but he's definitely not above bringing a few things for Yuu and the baby with Rook and Epel.

• Another great one is providing a space for Yuu to care for him, especially when the baby is already a few months old or if Yuu is dealing with any consequences of childbirth. I honestly don't think Vil brings up the topic of losing baby weight right away because I think it's common sense that it's a pretty sensitive topic for women; instead, he focuses on Yuu feeling good about herself.

• Ortho was probably one of the few students allowed to come to Ramshakle every day to check on the baby's health with his scanners. Thanks to that, Idia is probably the one who is most attentive to the health of both the baby and Yuu. He almost seems like a mother hen. Is Yuu eating things with iron? Is it beneficial for pregnant women? Or maybe he should send her food with vitamin D? Is he being too creepy by monitoring this kind of things?

• Idia definitely freezes every time the baby climbs on him, just accepting his fate of being this creature's new favorite fluorescent toy (Ortho has videos of this that he shows the first years).

• Malleus, OH MY GOD, MALLEUS, remember how I told you the baby was born shortly before his Overblot? You can bet everyone was super tense with him around Yuu and the baby after that, almost like a Protection Squad.

• Then again, Malleus had no idea how human birth worked, so he definitely got really distressed when he heard Ramshakle's screams of pain, or when they told him that if they didn't act quickly either Yuu or the baby could DIE. It was like a reminder that, even giving birth to another human being, they are very fragile. Malleus was so relieved when he learned that Yuu and her daughter were okay, but the scare never fade.

• He definitely acts like some kind of weird uncle. He even talks to the baby as if she were an adult, and they have full conversations. The baby just babbles or says random words, and Malleus nods as if he understands and makes up a conversation, much to Yuu's amusement and everyone's confusion. At least Malleus can still have his nightly chats with Yuu, given how little sleep babies get.

• Ace and Deuce try to be as careful as possible with the baby, almost seeming like other people due to the kindness they show the baby in contrast to their normal selves. Although of course, they still have their tricks. Ace especially wants to teach the baby how to say his name, and when that doesn't work, he makes her learn funny nicknames for the others (like calling Riddle "red dwarf," knowing he'd never get mad at the baby).

• Deuce tries to prevent this, but it's in vain. When Yuu and they go out on campus, the baby is usually carried on one of their shoulders (they constantly fight over who is the "favorite uncle," unaware that that position already belongs to Grim).

• BONUS: THE STAFF

• Crowley definitely gives Yuu more work now because she's "no longer incapacitated," but he doesn't give her maternity leave. That is, until a mob of angry teenagers comes to his office to complain about his lack of basic human decency, and he decides to give her a month off. Every time Crowley is near the baby, she cries, but not a normal cry, no, a HYSTERICAL cry. Yuu thinks the problem might be the mask, but you can see how the baby makes faces at Crowley's voice.

• Sam always has things in stock that the baby might like, things like toys, bibs, clothes, etc. While Yuu is shopping, the baby likes to play with Sam's shadow. He thinks it's very interesting that the baby isn't afraid of them and tells Yuu that her baby has a very unique personality.

• Vargas remains essentially the same, a stereotypical gentleman who makes his students also be proper gentlemen to the ladies. If Yuu wants to join the class but has to bring the baby with her, Vargas will happily carry her while yelling at the students to move, occasionally tickling the baby, or passing her some candy.

• Trein is the ultimate babysitter. Not only does he have the experience, but the baby automatically trusts him without hesitation; he's the opposite of Crowley. Trein and Yuu remain close friends (I'd say Trein sees a lot of his daughters in Yuu), and he's willing to lend a hand if she has trouble with the baby. He's also the best source of baby-related advice at the school.

• Crewel's first reaction when the baby was able to leave school was to go shopping for clothes with Yuu, mostly matching clothes—he thinks they're the cutest thing ever! He's definitely bought her Dalmatian onesies. He definitely takes every opportunity he gets when he visits Yuu for tea to see the baby (it's like that "move bitch" meme).

• Overall, a big, dysfunctional, happy family was formed.

As the Olympic Games are officially starting in a week, I decided to finally sketch some of the designs for my Twisted Wonderland Olympics AU! Next up are Riddle, Trey and Cater.

AU summary

This is a magicless AU where all of the TWST characters are Olympic athletes in the real world. Some win medals, some barely qualify — but all of them live in the Olympic village. The students are aged up here (usually early to late twenties) while the faculty members have no set age and work as sports reporters.

♤ Character introductions ♤

ACE TRAPPOLA — A 21-year-old Italian prodigy basketball player. He's considered to be his team's ace (pun intended) and is great at tricking his opponents, making tons of baskets for the Italian team, and efficiently assisting his teammates.

DEUCE SPADE — A 21-year-old Japanese track and field athlete competing in various smaller disciplines falling under the "track and field" term. He's extremely average at most things other than sprints, often ends up in the bottom 3, and is secretly incredibly insecure about not being the best at anything.

ALLEN ALAGONA (YUU) — A 21-year-old Japanese-Italian gold-winning figure skater competing for his current home country, Ireland, along with his best friend and sports partner Alcestris. He gave up on his original dream — becoming a musician — and is now working hard to be the best male figure skater in the world, hoping to kickstart a career as a musician later on.

♤ Relationships ♤

ACE & DEUCE — Their friendship originally started when Ace posted a picture of himself watching a sprint competition while Deuce made a grimace in the background, causing the photo to go viral and become a meme. Deuce originally DMed Ace to take the picture down and got teased for it, but this teasing slowly developed into a friendship. While they get along well, Deuce is secretly a bit jealous of Ace for pretty much being a prodigy.

ACE & ALLEN (YUU) — Ace is a fan of Allen and views him as a fellow gold medalist. Being open-minded and "eager" to make new connections, Ace simply DMed Allen one day and the two became unlikely friends. Nowadays, Ace also functions as a matchmaker, being the only person to know just how much Deuce likes Allen...

DEUCE & ALLEN (YUU) — Deuce knows Allen as the most famous figure skater in the world and is absolutely stunned by both his appearance and humbleness. The two accidentally meet at a coffee shop during the games one day, decide to have a drink together, and strike up a conversation. Deuce is fanboying on the inside and trying to hide his surprise that Allen genuinely recognizes such an average athlete as him. Allen, however, already knows Deuce due to closely following all Japanese competitions, and has also noticed how incredibly ambitious Deuce is. Knowing Deuce's pain of carrying other people's hopes and never being the best at anything all too well from his teen years, Allen wants to get to know him better... and what starts off as mutual admiration and a celebrity crush on Deuce's side develops into full-blown love.

Flufftober Day 31 - Proposal - Heartslabyul

Characters included: Riddle Rosehearts, Trey Clover, Cater Diamond, Ace Trappola, Deuce Spade

Riddle

Who proposes: Riddle

Riddle likes for everything to be perfect. Even after his overblot, that’s one thing he couldn’t shake off. 

This includes your relationship. He would never try and force you to be perfect, but he wants your relationship to be. He wants to be the perfect partner, the perfect gentleman. 

It takes him forever to propose, for better or worse. Riddle is definitely the kind of person to date for a super long time before even considering marriage. 

He wants to marry you, of course, but that’s a big commitment, and he has a lot he’d like to work out before he fully commits himself to you like that. It’s actually very mature of him. 

When he does propose, it’s after several years of courtship and dating. Everything is planned out perfectly and to his liking. 

Riddle decided to propose to you at a local park. There’s a lovely hidden clearing with a gazebo surrounded by rose bushes. It’s the perfect spot for a picnic date. 

The date is going so well. It’s a sunny day, there’s no other people around to disturb you, and you’re having an amazing time. 

Riddle is obviously nervous, and you can probably guess what’s going to happen. It’s cute watching him squirm as he waits for the perfect moment. 

Then, it happens. He stands up and moves to your side. He kneels down, and you wait eagerly in anticipation. He’s just about to speak…

And then thunder sounds throughout the park. Suddenly, rain is pouring everywhere. Luckily, the two of you are protected by the gazebo, but there’s no getting out anytime soon. 

Riddle looks between a mixture of annoyed and dejected. All of that planning, and he forgot to check the weather. Of course this would happen to him. 

And yet, you’re smiling. It’s the most perfect smile he’s ever seen, and even through his annoyance, he can’t help but melt at the sight of it. 

You look at him, urging him to finish what he was doing. He stares for a moment, slightly baffled that you seem so unbothered, but he continues on at your reassurance. 

He gives his perfectly prepared speech, and the smile never leaves your face. You say yes, of course, and he slips the ring on your finger. 

You then pull him off of his knees, pulling him into a tight hug. He’s shocked for a moment, but is quick to reciprocate. 

You’ve always been his rock, the calm to his storm. When his mind is racing about every little detail, you’re the one to pull him back, allowing him to see the pretty picture. 

Sure, it may have rained, but the day was still good, and you helped him see that. 

Your wedding is pretty much the two of you eloping. Riddle was hesitant at first, but he eventually agreed. You let your closest friends and family know, but made sure not to tell his parents for fear they might try and stop you. Of course, you let them know after the fact, and they were very displeased. Not that either of you cared. 

Trey

Who proposes: you

Trey is a very simple man. He always planned on getting married at some point. He never had much of a timeframe of when exactly it would happen, but he knew it would eventually. 

He also assumed that he’d be the one to propose. It’s not like he’s super into gender roles or anything; it’s more like he’s always been the one to take the lead, always caring for others above himself. He just kind of assumed it’d be the same in a relationship as well. 

However, he was very, very wrong about all of that. 

You’re nothing like he expected when he pictured his ideal relationship. You actively take care of him instead of it being the other way around. In school, you helped him wrangle his unruly dorm members, you help out with his siblings when he’s babysitting, and you even help out around the bakery. 

From the moment you began dating, you’ve been a major support for him, which he never really expected. He absolutely loves it more than anything. 

Still, as your relationship continues on, he still assumes that he’ll be the one to propose. He loves you and wants to marry you more than anything, so why wouldn’t he? 

And yet, you still manage to find ways to surprise him. 

It’s early in the morning, just as domestic as any other day. You let Trey sleep in, sneaking to the kitchen while he was still asleep. You do your best to be quiet as you scurry around the kitchen, preparing him breakfast. 

When he wakes up, you’re not in bed, which is a bit strange. He usually wakes up first, or you wake up at the same time, so it’s weird to not see you. 

Then, right as he’s about to get up to look for you, you come in, smiling as you show him the breakfast you worked so hard on. He stares for a second in shock before looking up to you, smiling that adorable, love-sick smile he dawns every time he sees you. 

Trey asks if today is some sort of special day, to which you immediately bow off the question, telling him you just want to spoil him today. He’s tempted to tell you that you spoil him everyday, but he decides against it. Instead he thanks you for the breakfast, digging in once you place it in front of him. 

Once he’s finished eating, you take the platter the food was on and place it on the bedside table. Then, you tell him to close his eyes because you have one more surprise for him. He smiles before complying. He’s already guessed what’s coming, but he’s willing to play along with your antics. 

When you tell him to open again, you’re holding a box with a ring inside, and even though he guessed this was coming, his breath is still taken away. He takes a moment, glancing between you and the ring as if making sure you’re serious. 

You give your small speech, asking him if he wants to marry you. He says yes, of course, and you put the ring on his finger. 

Later that day, you call his family and show them the ring over video call, and they’re so happy for both of you.m

There will always be a small part of him that feels bad for how much you take care of him. After all, he’s supposed to be the caring, supportive type. And yet, how can those thoughts eat away at him when you smile at him so sweetly as he shows his parents the ring? You’re happy, and so he’s happy. 

Your wedding is a small gathering of close friends and family. It’s a cute little ceremony with a nice reception. The cake was, naturally, made by his parents. Trey is tempted to let you plan the whole thing, wanting it to be your perfect day. He may be doing better, but those people-pleasing tendencies don’t go away that easily. But, you are able to get him to put his own input in, supporting him like you always do. 

Cater

Who proposes: Cater

Cater has commitment issues. It took so long for him to start dating you because he was always scared of you leaving once you saw the real him. Even as your relationship progressed, he still often had thoughts about you leaving, and there were several times he almost considered breaking up with you because of it. 

But you persisted, sticking with him and constantly assuring him that you’d never leave him. As he continued through life and gained more experience, he even started believing it. 

Still, the idea of marriage is scary, even after all that development. It’s literally the biggest commitment you can make to someone, and while he loves you more than anyone ever, it’s still a terrifying thought.

But still, it’s a thought he can’t seem to get out of his head. Like most things Cater does, he buys you a ring on a whim, not even really thinking about it much. It’s only after the purchase is made does he start to question himself. Sure, you love him, but would you want to marry him? 

He holds onto the ring, keeping it in a safe spot he knows you won’t find. It’s not like he’d be able to explain himself if you did. How could he when he’s not even sure what he’s thinking? 

One day, he sits alone in your shared bedroom, holding the ring box in his hands. He’s been holding onto it for a few weeks now, and yet he still hasn’t found the courage to give it to you. At this point, he’s contemplating just returning it. 

Then you walk into the room without warning. He didn’t even hear you come in, and he’s startled when you ask him what he’s holding. 

Cater is quick to hide the box behind him, telling you that it’s nothing to worry about. You’re not satisfied with that,a nod you walk closer to him, standing in front of him. You look him in the eyes, asking him to tell you the truth. 

He’s so tempted to lie. Even if you know he’s lying, he knows you won’t push it if he’s not willing to share. You’re always considerate like that, and it’s just one of many reasons why he loves you. 

But, he knows you deserve the truth, and so, with a heavy sigh, he pulls the box from behind him, opening it up to show you the ring. As you stand there in shock, he’s quick to begin rambling, coming up with excuse after excuse about why he bought the ring and why he hasn’t given it to you yet. 

He only stops when you place your hands over his and the box, gently pushing them down as you lean in just a bit closer. You give him that smile you always give him when you’re trying to comfort him. It normally has him melting, but he’s far too on edge right now. 

You assure him that it’s okay if he’s not ready for something this big. You know how he is, and the last thing you want is to make him uncomfortable. If he’s not ready for marriage, then neither are you. You want both of you to be happy. 

And that finally manages to calm him down. Somehow, that was exactly what he needed. He holds up the box again, telling you that he is ready. He wants to marry you. 

After making sure he’s not just doing it for you, you agree, and he puts the ring on your finger. That night, the two of you stay up late, just talking and existing with each other. This is a big step, and there’s so much to talk about. As long as it’s with you, Cater is sure he doesn’t mind. 

Your wedding is basically nonexistent. At first, Cater was convinced he wanted a grand, Magicam-able wedding, but you were quick to shoot that down. You know him better than he knows himself, and you’re right once again. A wedding that grand would only stress him out. Instead, the two of you simply show up to the courthouse and sign the papers, but he does convince you to dress up to the nines anyway. 

Ace

Who proposes: Ace

This piece of shit (affectionate). 

Since the moment you began dating, he’s been absolutely unbearable in the best way. 

Ace has always been quite the jokester, and that does not stop just because you’re dating him. If anything, it gets so much worse.

He’s never done anything mean or harmful. It’s all just silly little jokes meant to make you laugh. Most of them do, but sometimes he’s just weird. You still love him anyway.

One of his favorite jokes is the classic fake proposal. It started in high school before you even began dating. 

In the middle of the cafeteria, he got down on one knee in front of you, holding a RingPop, asking for your hand in marriage. You jokingly said yes, and it’s been an ongoing joke ever since. About once a year at random times, he’ll get down on one knee with a RingPop and “propose” to you.

To most, this joke would get old fast, but you’ve never gotten tired of it. It’s his way of expressing his love for you, and you think it’s cute. Plus, you get candy out of it, so it’s a win-win all around.

You really should have seen this coming from a mile away.

It’s insanely obvious when Ace is planning something. You assume it’s yet another prank, as he always gets like this when he’s attempting to surprise you.

It happens during dinner with him. Ace gets up, very obviously holding a ring box. You prepare yourself for the same joke, ready to give the same acceptance speech you give him every time.

However, all words fail you when he kneels down and opens the box. It’s a real ring. Not some shitty candy ring, but an actual, expensive-looking ring. Your eyes are wide with shock, and you can’t look away from the ring.

Ace is smirking, clearly proud of his long-con. He knew this would work since the moment he first played this joke, and now it’s all paying off.

Eventually, you’re able to pull yourself together, and you ask him if he’s for real. He confirms that, yes, he is for real this time, and he does actually want to marry you. Naturally, you say yes, and he puts the ring on your finger.

As one last joke, he does pull out a (still-wrapped) RingPop from his pocket, handing that to you as well. You laugh, accepting the treat.

Your wedding is fairly standard as far as weddings go. Family and friends alike gather at your ceremony, and it’s a wild and fun party. Ace is still the clown he was in school, and that side of him really shows during the reception. It’s an amazing night. Of course, you hand out RingPops as party favors, much to the annoyance/amusement of everyone else attending. 

Deuce

Who proposes: Deuce

Deuce never really thought about marriage much growing up. It’s not like he didn’t want to get married; he just never had the time to think about it. In middle school, he was more focused on his gang, and in high school, he was too focused on being an honor student. 

Even while dating you, marriage wasn’t something that crossed his mind until recently. It was actually his mother who brought it to the forefront of his mind during a solo visit back home. 

She brought it up in a joking way, asking if he’s finally popped the question to you yet. However, Deuce is nothing if not oblivious to most jokes, and it flies right over his head. Instead, he ends up panicking because he never even thought about proposing to you. He had no clue how you felt, or if you were waiting for him to propose. 

His mom turns from joking to comforting quickly after that. She reassures him that she was only kidding, and that she’s sure you’re not upset with him for not proposing yet. That seems to calm him down for the most part. 

It does keep him up that night though. Now that it’s been brought to his attention, it’s all he can think about. Deuce has been so happy to just be with you. He never once thought he’d be this happy, especially as a kid. You’ve brought so much joy to his life, and he’s so lucky to have you. 

He’s content like this, having you simply be with him. However, he can’t help but yearn for more now that he knows it’s a possibility. What would you think about marrying him? You love him, obviously, but is marriage something you want? It’s not something the two of you discussed at length, but it’s not like he can just outright ask without making you suspicious. 

The next day, Deuce goes out to the market with his mom. While there, he spots a stand selling jewelry. He spots the most gorgeous ring he's ever seen, and if that’s not a sign from the universe, he’s not exactly sure what else it could be. He buys the ring immediately, much to the happiness of his mom. 

When he returns home, he’s greeted by you, and he’s practically sweating bullets. You can tell that something is up, and you ask him if everything is okay. He takes that moment to pop the question, deciding it better to do it rather than let himself wallow in worry. 

He kneels down on one knee, taking the ring box out of his pocket. He stutters his way through his proposal, opening the box to reveal the ring to you. Your wedding is small, but nice. It takes place in his hometown since he knows a lot of people there, and they’re all very happy for him. Just some baby ideas that I (hopefully) will (eventually) draw!

Riddle as a little baby and kid was in and out of the hospital. I feel he was a premie baby, and really struggled for a few years. He’s obviously better now, but a lot of his younger years were spent in hospitals and sickly.

Trey working the counter, and younger Crewel buying something, and just fawning over the cute baby! And Trey being like “can I takes you order!” And “fank you!” As he waves at Crewel with his arms FULL of baked goods! He bought them out, just so he could stay with the baby longer!

Cater playing with a camera, I bet he LOVED being his sisters camera man much more than their dress up doll. He liked pictures cause he can go through them and remember stuff!

Deuce just being a mama’s boy. Helping carry anything and everything, though the grocery bag drags on the ground, trying to cook and burning the eggs, picking flowers for her.

Ace just following his brother like a duckling, copying whatever his big brother does! (Silver doing this with Lilia too!)

Leona also having a nice relationship with his brother, but his brother is probably a little overbearing as many kids can be. Leona is such a cat he needs his space sometimes, but Falena just loves his baby bro so much!

Rook being in his outdoorsy family, learning to fish, and track, helping garden. I have a headcannon that as a toddler, and he was mad, he would go eat the mint plant (his mother’s favorite) as like a gotcha! He always felt bad and would help heal it, but three year olds don’t think far ahead.

The only way he found out, was when Duece was absolutely begging Trey not to tell Riddle. He is lucky Cater wasnt there, because he would have definitely recorded this whole encounter for funsies.Riddle was on his way to his Afternoon tea time when he heard Duece’s pleads.He was carrying one of the teacup,s from the set you had gifted him, when it suddenly fell out of his hands when he hears you got hurt, shattering it （just like your leg－)His face contorted into one of anger and worry as he steps into both of their lines of sight.

“What happened?“ his voice boomed,Duece could only tremble under his gaze.Finally he stammered out his silly explanation.

“Off with your head!“ The familiar heart collar appeared on the first years neck.

Usually in these scenario’s when he would bring you to his dorm, he would throw yoy on the bed before pouncing on top of you with your body weight trapped beneath him. this time was different though, hr gently sets you down onto the bed, you feel the bed dip down next to you as he wraps himself around you carefully.

He was definitely right next to you when it happened. I mean he’s always with you and deuce so was it really a surprise??

He shrieked when deuce for the third time today, summoned a cauldron. This time though, it smashed your leg, Ace could feel his heart beating out of his chest as he see’s the blood splatter onto the floor with your sobs. He doesn’t even think to use his magic to push the cauldron off (which would probably hurt way less) but instead he uses all of his strength to push it off of you. With the way he’s screaming it made it seem as if he’s the one with the hurt leg.

“Deuce what the fuck is wrong with you!?” Obviously he was furious, deuce just summoned a cauldron on his crushes leg!! He picks you up and runs off to his dorm… instead of the infirmary for some reason.. it’s not his fault ig he’s just panicking.

He finds towels to put under your leg so that your blood doesn’t stain his bed sheets.. priorities right

After he obviously bandaged it, and then he realized he should have probably took you to a nurse or something.. but he wasn’t about to run around campus so instead he asked if one could be sent to his dorm.

Once the nurse PROPERLY assessed the injury and patched it up so that it could actually heal… he was all over you. He definitely just laid on top of you, pressing small kisses to your face as he mumbles under his breath, cursing deuce.

“Mwah, see? All better!” He kissed the leg because kisses make everything better right!? Just gives him more of an excuse to be all over you honestly, he’s loving it.

It started with a DM on his MagiCam account. At first, Cater didn't think much of it. He thought it was some fan trying to ask him out. But on second thought, he decided to open it. Who knows? Perhaps it was some kind of threat that he needed to report?

Instead, he got a simple message: Hey, I like what you post! You're really cool!

It didn't say much, really. Cater got those kinds of comments all the time on his posts. But this was a direct message. And for some reason, it felt more sincere and genuine. It made his heart stutter in his chest.

So of course he had to tell Trey all about it! He spent an hour overanalyzing the content of the message over and over and over again, trying to get an idea of what prompted the person to message him. It also didn't help that he spent at least twenty minutes scrolling through their account.

When Trey mentioned he should message them back, Cater freaked out and went on a thirty minute tirade on why he simply could not do that! The person who messaged him, they were cool and charming and absolutely way out of his league. To DM them back, that would be like breaking the ultimate rule! However, Trey eventually got to say that it was also impolite to leave someone on read.

So for the next hour and a half, he painstakingly crafted the perfect message to send back: Thanks! I like the stuff you post too!

After he sent it, he hated every word.

But almost immediately, he got a message back: Aww, thank you! Hey, do you know the address of the cafe in your third photo? It looks amazing!

And just like that, he sparked a conversation with the person who DM'd him. There wasn't a second in the day he didn't have his nose in his phone, typing message after message to the random person who messaged him first. At first, the others thought it was kind of sweet he found someone he liked so much and could relate to. But the longer it went on, the more Cater got obnoxious about it.

"Oh my Seven! You know my friend on MagiCam loves that kind of dessert!"

"My friend on MagiCam just sent me the funniest joke! I have to show you!"

"I just found out my friend on MagiCam is studying to be a mage too! Isn't that so cool?"

Riddle was the one who told Trey to pull Cater aside and tell him to do something about his friend on MagiCam. The Heartslabyul dorm leader wasn't one to condone relationships, believing they interfered with school work, but even he could see that Cater's work was suffering by not being in a relationship.

Trey decided to take the easy and subtle approach. He invited Cater into the kitchen and made him a snack before casually asking what kind of snacks his friend liked. Obviously, he turned it into a whole lecture of what they like and don't like to eat. When he could finally get a word in edgewise, Trey asked if he would consider inviting them over for some food or something like that.

Cater froze at the insinuation. "Oh no, I can't do that! That's a thing couples do! You should know that, Trey!"

"But don't you like them like that?" He countered.

His friend blushed. "N-no."

"That's what I thought." Trey rolled his eyes before placing a comforting hand on Cater's shoulder. "You like them. They like you. At the very least the two of you should meet in person. See if you still like each other outside of MagiCam and could possibly make a relationship work. It couldn't hurt to try."

"It could ruin everything! What if I don't like them in person? That could ruin our entire friendship!" Cater wailed.

"You won't know if you don't try. Besides, I know you. You will always be curious about what your friend is like no matter what. Might as well take the leap now."

After much debate and consideration, Cater decided to do the impossible. He messaged his friend to meet him for tea. And of course, they said yes.

In the time leading up to the fateful meeting, Cater was an absolute wreck. Ace often joked that he was like Riddle right before an Unbirthday Party. But he couldn't help it! He was about to meet the person he harbored secret romantic feelings for! How could he not be nervous?

When the day came, the garden was immaculately decorated and Cater was wearing his best clothes. He kept playing with his hair and chewing on his bottom lip as he waited for them. He was worried they were going to be late or not even show up.

But right when the clock struck tea time, there they were. Or rather, there you were, in your Royal Sword Academy uniform. Even in real life, your eyes were still as bright and your smile still as adorable. You were like a MagiCam post come to life. And it gave Cater some relief.

"Hi!" You cheerfully greeted him. "It's an absolute treat to meet you in real life, Cater!"

His heart flipped at your voice and he nodded, trying not to get too tongue-tied. "It's a pleasure to meet you too. Shall we?"

There is probably a much easier way to answer your question, but I simply MUST conduct a research, Anon.  Because while I was thinking about it, I started wondering: who Is a slut? What does it mean to be slutty? And how does one determine who is sluttier?

Here is what I came up with: I’m going to go through all the characters and judge them on the following parameters: promiscuity (willingness to have sexual relationship with multiple people during a short period of time/being open to the idea in general), flirtiness (tendency to flirt without necessarily making serious advances), sex-drive (interest in sex in general) and kinkiness. Why these factors? Well I don’t know, it’s just funnier that way.

So yeah, I’m going to give the boys points from 0 to 5 for each of the aforementioned things, and then we’ll have a full and conclusive 100% accurate list determining who is the biggest slut in the twst universe.

Oh, and it’s going to be obviously based on our headcanons + the so-called “default” state of the cast, so Idia won’t have 5 lovers in this one… sorry, Idia, you’re the biggest slut in our hearts <3

Riddle

And right away, Riddle is an interesting case, because in theory he is supposed to be a pure little prude who wouldn’t have sex before marriage, but with how much stuff he’s repressing already, I wouldn’t be surprised if he scored even higher than 5. Also the fact that he isn’t really promiscuous doesn’t mean that he won’t end up with multiple lovers in some scenarios, but that’s not entirely his fault lol

Ace:

Speaking of fucking unpredictable, this man jumps from 8 to 18 based on how you look at him... He definitely wouldn’t mind having sex with multiple people at once; the only reason for Jade to be loyal to someone is to create a certain image to manipulate people around him. He could also be either not interested in sex at all or be even more into it than Floyd. We’ll go with the latter for now. Also, he is another character who wouldn’t do the traditional flirting, but the way I look at it is that he pretty much flirts with everyone he’s speaking to in his own way. The guy is simply having too much fun lol

Floyd

Floyd’s also not the most stable person when it comes to these numbers, sometimes he has days when he doesn’t want to see anyone, but I guess his “default” state is 18. I feel like any type of situations that would require Floyd to be loyal would just piss him off.

Kalim

Kalim is sweet and innocent, but he is also deeply passionate and loves to love. I feel like he would feel bad for two-timing, and despite being quite a flirt, he has tunnel vision when it comes to the actual romantic attraction. He does a lot of things that could be considered romantic with others, like he could cuddle with them, shower them with presents, do all this stuff, but when it comes to sex, he is surprisingly loyal. And hungry. And super clingy.

But now I'm here to share something I've been doing a lot lately.

In one of my do-nothing sessions, I started creating very specific fictional scenarios about men taking care of other people's children. Let me explain.

Yuu has a child with Boy A, but for some reason they break up, and now Yuu is a single mother. Some time later, Boy B arrives and wants to woo Yuu, even if it means taking care of her child. There may or may not be a plot twist here.

And it occurred to me that this could be perfect for Fellow and Cater.

Fellow and Yuu live happily together with Gidel and Grim. Everything was going well until one day Fellow disappeared without a trace. This devastates Yuu, and to top it all off, she discovers she's pregnant. She has her baby, time passes, and she reunites with Cater, who of course has been in love with Yuu but never confessed his feelings for her for reasons. They go through the whole courtship process, and one of the reasons he gives to convince Yuu to be together is that he can be a good father for the baby, and he can even pretend to be the biological father since they have the same hair color. They just have to come up with an excuse for why the baby has fox ears and a tail.

It seemed like everything was going to be fine, that everything would be like a fairy tale until OH SURPRISE!! FELLOW RETURNS!!! And it's not that he abandoned Yuu or anything, but that people from his past were looking for him and he ran away to protect those he loved. But now that he's back, he finds out he has a child and the love of his life is with someone else. What will happen next?

I'm sorry if it sounds like a Mexican soap opera, I love drama, and Cater was one of my first favorite characters, so I like watching him suffer.

I was thinking about a similar scenario with Leona and Crowley, but I'd like to hear your opinion first.

I really like the social implications because like. Obviously yuu's friends must know. besides the fact that everyone kinda knew that yuu and fellow were having a thing, the kid has fox ears. and a tail. does everyone just agree not to bring it up? are there some who have reservations about lying to the child about their father and thus refuse to meet them because of it? I think riddle might fit into this category. are there some who don't want to get involved at all? trey?? especially with a child of fellow? like, everyone involved in the playful land incident? like how badly does this damage everyone's social lives!?

I think they'd get over it, though. like at the point where it's been a year or two or three or more, and there's been no trace of fellow, perhaps the more reserved would decide it's better to have a complicated relationship with yuu's family than none at all. and, of course, just as everything is winding down, fellow comes waltzing back into the picture. I just think it'd be messyyyy AND FUN! cause there's no way he's going to leave now that he knows he and yuu have a child. ugh so good

Jade and Floyd's relationship isn't quite the same as ordinary brothers. While Jade is the older brother, he never actually had to play the role of a textbook older brother with Floyd. I know most people in the fandom like to compare Jade/Floyd with Idia/Ortho, but we shouldn't forget that there are other pairs of siblings in Twst, like Trey, Cater, and Leona. If anything, Trey/Idia/Farena are more similar in how they treat their siblings and fall more into the "doting and worrisome" older brother trope. At the same time, Cater on the other hand does not seem to have a stellar relationship with his sisters, but Jade and Floyd belong to neither of these categories.

Honestly, it could be because they're twins, and therefore are more equal rather than assigned an older/younger brother role. It can also be the fact that Floyd is a tough baby brother and Jade never had to care for or fussed over him much since Floyd seems like the kind of person who handles himself well enough, so Jade doesn't have to.

I don't think Jade doesn't care about Floyd. Jade very obviously does. It's true Jade pranks Floyd often and sets him up, but Jade isn't just only that annoying older brother who bullies his little brother while showing little interest in Floyd's person, life, or well-being. Whenever the twins are asked about their relationship with each other, it's always Floyd who tries to beat around the bush and say something distracting/unrelated, and Jade who is more willing to confess that he liked everything about Floyd. And maybe that is just another one of Jade's bullshit lies and half-truths, but is it really? I don't think so. Jade has proven to know Floyd really well to the point that people are absolutely shocked if Jade's response to something about Floyd is "I don't know." because Jade has always, always knows what's going on with Floyd. He knows when Floyd's upset, when he's genuinely happy, when he's pissed, when he wants some alone time, when he wants affection. Jade knows Floyd incredibly well, possibly even better than Jade knows himself. And why would Jade know Floyd so well if all he's interested in is making Floyd's life miserable?

Something else I really like about the details in their relationship is that Jade has shown that he understands sometimes Floyd just needs time alone and, in those times, Jade accepts and embraces the fact that there is nothing he, as Floyd's brother, can do for him. Rather than trying to "fix" Floyd, Jade gives Floyd space and lets him have time alone to sort out his thoughts. And that is - genuine love in its purest form. Obviously, if you see someone you care about being upset, anyone's first instinct is to try and be useful to them because you'd want to help them out, but to stand by and doing nothing - because there is nothing you can do, which happens sometimes - is to fight against one's own instincts and interest because you are truly trying to see things from the other person's perspective, and in Jade's sense, it's disobeying his own primal instincts of wanting to do something. Because he truly cares about Floyd.

Perhaps why Jade isn't an older brother the way Trey, Idia, and Farena are older brothers because Floyd doesn't fit into the typical little brother mold as much as Jade doesn't fit into the typical older brother mold. Never forget that Floyd absolutely disliked being referred to as a younger brother either by Crewel or everyone else.

I guess it's Wonderland themed, so odd body proportioning is the most likely to happen in a setting related to a Heartslabyul character, and I can understand how (going off some sort of assumption the dreams are at least some part reflection of the character's desires for the moment) events might cause Trey to want to feed everyone (Italian Trey canon) and see that as caring for them / making people (especially Riddle who has such a bad relationship to food / that traumatic event with Riddle's mom from bringing Riddle to eat at their bakery) but... so just make them normal fat, guys... what is this...

When I think of Kalim, I think of Joy from Inside Out. They’re doing their absolute best for others and so much more. But they keep pushing their problems to the side and try to cover it up pushing this toxic positivity onto themselves.

at first, riddle admires you a lot. he thinks your dedication to study is admirable and the way you're able to balance so many activities and still keep up such a calm, helpful attitude is amazing. this is obviously before he sees... the real you.

the day he saw your true feelings, he felt sympathy. he honestly couod relate so hard that he cried with you, on the floor. having to always put everything else before yourself and happiness was such a tough thing to deal with, especially when someone is stopping you from truly enjoying life. throwing away your hobbies if they're not related to academics, always forcing high expectations on you and constantly making you feel as if you're nothing without a stupid A+ letter grade. riddle wants to help. he wants to help you find yourself and understand your feelings, but he needs help too. you both can figure it out together.

if you like to make music, especially music that helps you express yourself, riddle is so happy you can at least do that much. he might even like it,, (ahem, bitter choco decoration) even if you work in a group much like nightcord, riddle still praises your efforts. he loves you so, so much and wants you to know that no matter what you decide to do, as long as you're happy, it's a good choice.

TREY CLOVER ─

as soon as he sees you, he can tell something is off. after riddle's overblot and being cater's friend, he can tell you're definitely not who you seem to be. after helping adeuce study, you leave heartslabyul and trey happens to be outside tending to the bushes. as soon as you believe you're alone, he can see the honest exhaust in your eyes. the light in them dims and trey feels upset.

when you finally break, trey is not surprised. he sits with you on the floor and holds you as you cry into his chest. it's not easy being so dependent, he knows. the pressure of school is getting to be a lot for you, along with your struggle to find out what you really want in life. are you happy working towards a goal you didn't set yourself? are you still enjoying making music? trey asks many questions with YOUR opinion in mind. hopefully a bit of self reflection on your end can clear things up in your mind. (though, he knows simply just asking questions won't help you realize your true feelings. it will take time, time he's willing to spend with you.)

trey loves your music. he can feel the absolute emotion in it, and he applauds you for that. being able to express yourself artistically is surely a step in the right direction. trey makes sure he listens to all of your songs when they drop.

CATER DIAMOND ─

cater probably knows you from your music. somehow, he was able to find out it was you who made the saddest bangers he listened to every night. cater feels a sense of uneasiness when he realizes you both aren't too different after all; cheerful façades that drop into pure agony.

cater cries with you when you break. he understands it so much; forcing yourself to fit everyone elses ideals and losing yourself in the process. not being okay but having to seem like you are. wanting to disappear. he gets it. like riddle, he also struggles with similar issues so you both can heal together. for now, though, cry with him for hours and hours at night. this might he the first time he's felt truly understood.

cater obviously listens to your music! i mean, the songs are so damn relatable and they're the perfect sad-hour material. even though, he still fears for you mental state when you drop a new song. he knows you're in pain and your music reflects that; so he likes to treat you after every song you drop. simply to let you know he cares.

LILIA VANROUGE ─

lilia is capable of reading people easy, as well as technically stalking with his powers. at first, he thinks you're another overachiever but at second glance, you're more than that. he's deeply intrigued.

his father instincts kick in when you cry. your perfectly okay façade falls and you breakdown; you cry all about how tired you are. how you hated all your academic "goals" that you didn't set. you hated the disappointment you received when you wanted to do something other than study or when you didn't get a top grade. you hated constantly being confused on who you were and what you were feeling. you hated it all, the feeling of wanting to disappear growing stronger by the day. lilia comforts you like a father to his child; he hopes he can provide some kind of support.

he supports your hobbies!! especially if you make music because??? HE DOES TOO!! he literally loves listening to how talented you are and the emotion in your music is priceless. he really does care for you and he'll support you no matter what.

SILVER ─

silver knows you because you seem to be everywhere he is. when he's doing club work, you're there for whatever reason. you sit at the table next to his at lunch and you're near him in every class. of course he knows you, the charming and caring (name)!

he sees you break and he's scared. what does he do in this situation? he hugs you tight while you cry; you want to disappear. you want to be able to enjoy your hobbies without facing some kind of repercussion, you want to be normal, you want to be normal. silver provides advice and kind words he hears from lilia all the time. he can't help much at the moment but he'll fall asleep holding you, and hopefully you're tired from crying because he is HARD TO MOVE.

silver likes your music, he says you remind him of his super awesome father. he honestly wants to know how you make music. it might be a little boring and he might fall asleep but it's the thought that counts?

Ft x TW: NRC boys' type of fairy tail magic

Ohohoho what a can of worms to open! I have considered the FT in TW au far more than the TW in FT au, but this changes now lol.

Obviously both sources are fairly soft with their magic, but it's true that FT specializes far more, either by choice or by affinity. Soooo time to spitball around a bit. (As I try really hard not to get too deep into backstories and make this more complicated than it has to be.)

Riddle: Some sort of nullification/wave magic—essentially like his signature spell. Riddle probably tries to be an all-around mage nonetheless, but it comes back around to nullification nonetheless.

Trey: Enchantment. He'll claim up and down that it's just minor tricks and little buffs, but this dude can probably rewrite a human being if he wants to. Though he would be fantastic support. Full mom mode, for sure.

Deuce: Full Counter. Yes I am aware this is not an explicit Fairy Tail magic. But I call him my Full Counter child way too often for me to get it out of my head.

Ace: How far he goes with it is up for debate, but card magic. It starts with some simple tricks, and then his Quick Learning kicks in and Ace can do a variety of things given he has access to the card for it.

Cater: Solid script magic. Maybe some other script magic too, though Cater would downplay how much he could do with it, but dude has a way with words alright.

Leona: He would be the type to know a variety of magic, enough to keep people guessing about his limits, but his main developed magic would be crush magic, much to the consternation of everyone. (Himself included sometimes.)

Ruggie: He could totally have something funky like Figure Eyes or some sort of straight forward puppeteer magic, but I think his overall magic would be speed. Ruggie go noom.

Jack: Transformation magic, so he can turn into a wolf and whatever other animal he desires. Not necessarily seith magic, but I do think he would focus on animals because he's just like that.

Azul: Dude would totally be a celestial spirit mage. It's all about collecting minions and getting them to do the heavy lifting, after all. That said he's definitely a Contract Guy so he would be fair about things. (And he would get heckled by the spirits sometimes too; a true give and take relationship right there.)

Jade: Telepathy magic that is definitely just used for good ol consensual communication. Yep. Not like Jade can eavesdrop on people's minds or anything. :)

Floyd: Reflector magic of some sort. Can't hit him because your magic goes wonky. Oh no, you gotta fist fight instead. What a nightmare. (For you.)

Kalim: I honestly can't decide if he'll be a water mage, because of his UM, or if he'll do something completely left-field, like dancer magic, because he is a fun guy and a good bean like that.

Jamil: He would certainly be a jack-of-all-trades type, but mostly an air/wind mage. Within that sphere, Jamil has a lot going on: healing magic, some purification, transportation, ripping the air out of your lungs, enhanced hearing, invisibility—all the useful stuff. He probably knows some charm magic on the side, too, but that's a surprise tool for later.

Vil: Poison magic because I think it would be hilarious. He's equally very proud of his very potent poison and also distressed because it's such a volatile magic and everyone looks at him *like that.* Vil would be great at making elixirs and antidotes too though.

Rook: If anyone would have some sort of take-over magic, it would be Rook. It's the ultimate appreciation of life if you ask him—as well as the ultimate hunt. He would probably deal mostly with beasts, but with just enough other types of transformations that it makes people wonder. How exactly Rook acquires these take-overs is up to the imagination.

Epel: Make-magic. I'm not 100% sure on the type—I think some sort of glass/crystal, maybe—but his amazing carving skills definitely strike me as good make-magic material. Plus he's a creative little fella that would definitely whack people with a comically large hammer given the chance.

Idia: He'd be the guy to naturally develop seith magic against his explicit will, but that's okay because he never really uses it. (Except, perhaps, for Ortho...) Idia would focus on magic tech and developing items, but if his extremely sentient constructs happen to house some souls because he's a bleeding heart after all, then nobody really has to know.

Ortho: Archive magic. Because it's the internet. Tbh I don't really get archive magic in the context of FT's world all that well, but nonetheless, I think Ortho would be able to do it. It's all about running analysis and being the bestest support. (That said, Ortho would probably be casually good at some sort of light/energy magic on the side; for the tactical nuke.) Provided Ortho is not, you know, a soul in a construct.

Malleus: He's gotta be a dragon slayer. Them's the facts. That said, I am somewhat undecided on the type. I lean towards lightning, because the lightning motif is pretty prevalent, but Malleus is also very fond of his fire breath. A green fire dragon slayer, perhaps? Or he would be something super Extra and Edgy, like "tempest dragon slayer" or something, that is mad OP and can do large scale atmospheric stuff and weather. Dude's a beast, after all.

Lilia: Something spatial focused—like teleporting or territory. Well, he would probably use it mostly for teleporting but he can actually do some super insane stuff if things get serious.

Silver: Like his dad, he's also a spatial mage, but for requip magic. Silver would totally play the Erza-card and focus on weapons and armor and such.

Sebek: He would have the type of sound magic that makes your eardrums burst, and Sebek would be sooo effective with it. Maybe he could be a speed type on the side too, as a treat.

Grim: My dude would be an Exceed that stubborns his way into learning fire magic, even if it's super basic.
