what it isn’t that old it’s only been - TEN YEARS?????? I remember when this was released….

but in all seriousness, as cheesy as it sounds, this series is probably one of the best things that could’ve happened to me. It was my first concrete fandom that I joined! My first ocs were for this series! My closest and oldest friends were made because of this fandom (shoutout @nineteen-rats)! It really formed me into the person I am today and it definitely shows in my work lol.

Although I��m not into Aph anymore, she still holds that special place in my heart <3

So thank you Minecraft Diaries, you’re such a wonderful if not strange series…

This piece is not only is a homage to this series (that I dedicated FAR too much time to) but a redraw of some of the first fanart I’ve ever done (proof under the cut 💀💀)

This is actually the most accurate scale of my art style changing over the years… I unfortunately either misplaced or straight up didn’t make one in 2015 (which would make sense because a lot of my “redraws” started in 2016) but still the fact that this particular fanart has been attempted so many times.. unbelievable

It just blows me away that this series pushed little 11 year old me to draw so much that I’m a junior in art college now, still drawing this fanart!

I kept drawing on lined paper (paper from around 2016 actually) in order to keep with the accuracy and theme lmao

Andor makes me want to write a Star Wars fanfiction but it's so scary. What if I write "Glup Shitto was sitting on the balcony, drinking coffee and reading his favourite book", but someone comments "didn't you mean he was drinking glop-goppy and reading a holo-journal? 🤨" so I open wookiepedia to check it out and it turns out that they also never invented balconies in the star wars universe and Glup Shitto can't read because of the freak accident he suffered in the episode 10 of the 2024 show "Jar-Jar and Babu Frik".
