How long has Claryce been dating Bob? I'm curious - anonymous person

Hello! I sadly can't give you a precise answer given the little info we get of the show's timeline; BUT I can sum up how I imagine their - chaotic - relationship status throughout the seasons! Basically there would be three phases if she were in the show:

- First date (seasons 5-6) that ended on good terms the moment Claryce learns about his past (she was unaware of it until Bart and Lisa warn her, but she only truly believes it when Bob threatens to kill Bart after the kids ruin their date). Ironically, Bob's love was genuine and he had no intention to harm her - but karma hit him the way he keeps stepping on rakes. While their relationship would last only one episode, Claryce would still be fond of their friendship. - Long period of slow burn (seasons 6 - 25) during which both Claryce and Bob get to know each other a little better as she occasionally shelters him. Claryce slowly yet surely starts to fall for him again, which is something she'll constantly deny as it challenges her principles - making it one of her main character traits. This period ends when Bob decides to isolate himself in the lighthouse without telling anyone where he is. Not even Claryce. :( - Current date (after season 31) - despite knowing Bob did this to prevent himself from constantly ruinining his life trying to seek for revenge (and also to protect his loved ones) Claryce can't bring herself to move on and starts searching for clues in hopes to find him, without avail. She, in turn, starts isolating herself until Cassandra contacts her - which allows her to find him AND to express her regrets. She doesn't expect him to forgive her, yet he admits he also can't move on from their relationship - cue a heartwarming conversation after which they start dating again. To keep the status quo of the show (Claryce being in denial, Bob seeking for revenge, etc) I thought a good option was for them to decide to keep their relationship a secret - but to the eyes of the viewer and some of the characters, it's way too obvious to ignore. :')

So, in a way, considering the amount of seasons, they aren't 'seriously' dating since a long time; but their bond was there since the very start. :3c It's ironic when you remember Claryce's uncle is the boss of the Mob. You know. There's something funny about she loving her Italian family who has done far worse than Bob could ever imagine.
